Mushroom, spinach and goat cheese frittata

My fiancée and I met up with two family members for lunch. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant, which was great! The space is beautiful! We were seated in the dining room to the left. I believe there was another one on the right, when you come in. Our waiter was wonderful! Very friendly and funny! The food was great! We started off with the arancini for the table. I had the mushroom, spinach and goat cheese frittata. It was so good! We all ordered from the brunch menu. We will absolutely be back!

Looks like I'm in the minority on ratings for this restaurant. The place itself is in a former home and we ate in what may have been the living room and dining room. The space is very minimalist with nothing but 2 photos (?) on the walls. As the night progressed the noise level increased but not overwhelming so. I was concerned about the size of the menu with there being around 28 various entrees. In the past I've learned that less is usually best making it easier for the kitchen to perfect their dishes. This total did not include the 2(?) Special entrees. I chose the special Risotto Carbonara with guanciale, cream, mushrooms and cheese and was disappointed. The risotto was overcooked with the usual risotto "bite" missing. There was little seasoning in the dish and not much in the way of quantity of guanciale. In comparison, the Osso Bucco was very good with a rich gravy and side of mashed potatoes. I'm not sure if I'd return. BYO.

Rosa Bianca is a local gem but needs more recognition and exposure. The outside gives a dated vibe which might make someone pass it by for a more up to date establishment. The decor inside could use an update. The porch is by far the best place to sit. Music outside would be a nice addition as to not hear the conversation of the tables close by. That being said, this doesn't stop us from going to Rosa Bianca. The food it outstanding. The portions are large. They also offer half portions of some dishes. The salad with olives and cheese is a winner and could be shared. It's also a BYO which is a bonus. Bring a nice bottle of wine and it's a night out!! Not a game changer but the cappuccino is not the best. Investing in a Nespresso or good cappuccino machine would add another level to the end of the meal. The dessert was outstanding!

I had my first meal from trattoria Rosa Bianca for Mother's Day. The food was delicious! The service was excellent. For what I could the see the ambiance was very nice.

My wife and I recently met with good friends for a Valentine's Dinner and enjoyed the ambiance of the old Victorian. We easily found parking on Canal street which is behind the restaurant. You can also parallel park along Main St. On the inside they kept the charm and character of the building. You feel like you're still inside an old house and there was decent space between tables. The staff was friendly and kept up with us despite the place being packed. BYOB with no corking fee is also a plus. I had the Bistecca Tagliata - filet steak, mushrooms, baby spinach and white kidney beans. It had tender filets, a small portion, very simple, but together all the flavors went well. I wasn't in love with the dish, but it was decent. In all fairness I should return and have a pasta or seafood dish. My wife had a ribeye special and enjoyed it very much. I had a bite, agreed with her and instantly regretted my order. For dessert I had the small cannoli's. Filled fresh to order they were fresh and tasty. I'll definitely make a return trip to redeem myself with a deeper dive into the menu, including an appetizer.

Trattoria Rosa Bianca is an authentic Italian BYOB located in a charming Victorian home in the heart of Yardley. The family-owned restaurant has a variety of seasonal menus showcasing delicacies from all over Italy. At lunch, most of their pasta dishes are offered in full or half size portions, which is fabulous especially if you also want to try their homemade soups or variety of appetizers. I shared the Spuma di Ricotta ($12), made of light & mildly sweet, homemade whipped ricotta cheese, local honey, pistachios, & crispy, buttery perfect, pecorino crostini. Two people can easily share this dish - (I took home half of the ricotta & used it at home for a flat version of eggplant rollatini!) My friend enjoyed the Polpi - roasted octopus, crispy potatoes, ceci, & baby arugula. For my entree, I chose the 1/2 portion of the Spaghetti with Homemade Sausage & Ricotta cheese. The portion was huge & I had the other half for dinner the next night. The sausage was delicious- coarse cut inside with lots of fennel, garlic, & red pepper flakes in a red sauce. The pasta was topped with a generous dollop of ricotta cheese, which helped calm the palate from the heat of the sausage. Perfect. Another friend was seriously impressed with the presentation & execution of the Salmone Al Cartoccio, a salmon filet steamed in parchment with asparagus, potatoes, artichokes, lemon & thyme. ($30.) The fish was perfectly cooked & the delicate aromas filled the air when the parchment was cut open. We were all too full for dessert. This is a gem of a restaurant with a creative menu, seasonal menus, fresh ingredients, and real talent in the kitchen. The service is efficient, helpful, & not imposing. I also just found out that Monday & Tuesday evenings they offer a 3-course meal for $25.00. You cannot do much better anywhere.

The inside is simple and classy, uncluttered and clean, but most of all a quality Italian eatery. For a Tuesday evening it was pretty slow. The waitress who helped me was personable and treated me like family. She tried to give me the "everything is good here", but I wasn't having it! I appreciated her patience as we perused through the menu. I finally went with the popular Saporito - Chicken/Veal (I chose Veal at $35), Egg Battered Scaloppine. Vermouth Sauce, Spinach, Mozzarella topped with crab meat. For my pasta side I chose was spaghetti and it came with a salad. I was loving the Vermouth Sauce, it was sweet and not too thick/watery. The Veal was a little tough, but was better after soaking up the tasty sauce like a sponge. The crab meat was plentiful and fresh. I was kind of shocked they don't give you bread with your meal. I'm not a huge bread guy, but it's a staple at Italian eateries. I enjoyed a nice glass of a dry oaky cabernet my new friend recommended. They had a decent sized wine bottle/glass menu. I'm not a wine expert, but many styles were represented and it seemed like the management is on top of their selections and recommendations. I will certainly return for a family dinner or date night with my wife. Thanks guys!

The vibe is old school and cozy and was beautifully decorated for the season. We started at the bar with vodka martinis that were made perfectly by the friendly bartenders and generously filled as well. We asked if we could move to a table for dinner and they accommodated us immediately telling us to take our time at the bar and showed us the table they reserved for us when we were ready to sit. Once we sat down our server, Tony, came over immediately and introduced himself. He told us about the restaurant and also about the nightly specials. We decided on the clams casino appetizer. While we were waiting he brought us fresh baked Italian bread and homemade butter. It was delicious and when we were down to the last piece a new loaf was put down without even asking. The clams and lemon wine butter sauce were delicious. Salads came soon after in a light vinegarette with fresh sliced cheese. The entrees we ordered were the Roebling Veal Chop milanese style and the seafood pasta. Both were delicious and the chop was giant! For desert we shared "A little of everything" which consisted of a tartufo, a tiramiso, and a canoli. They gave us 2 complementary limoncellos to have with desert. The owner stopped by to see how everything was and kicked up a conversation about the restaurant and how it owned it for 39 years. It started in Chambersburg, a once vibrant little Italy in Trenton that no longer exists. Throughout the night we were treated like VIPs and truly like family. This date night at Marsilio's kitchen was more than a meal. It was a dining experience and we will certainly be back soon.

Sarah answered all my questions, responded to me in a timely manner, provided ample time for my bridesmaids and I to set up decor and we were permitted to bring our own cake and desserts. The bartender allowed me to Airdrop my custom bridal shower playlist to an iPad that was connected to their surround sound speakers so I could play the music I intended to play.
