It's so cute here Not a bad seat in the house.

Still love this place! I'm surprised it's still so easy to get a table, I guess the neighborhood has not yet realized what a gem this is. Noah took care of us the last time we visited and he was great! My favourite thing to get is the pizza with lamb sausage... it is just so deliciousy savory! If the weather allows i prefer sitting on the patio but there is not really a bad spot here.

This is a higher end Italian spot in downtown Nashville that makes some incredible Italian food. Bread with ricotta & olive oil to start. Appetizers: -Octopus ($25) -Mussels ($19) -Fennel Sausage ($17) All the appetizers were great. There's lots of various pickled / non-pickled veggies sprinkled in them. Entree: -IL FRUTTETO E LA VITE ($17) - the pizza is nice and light and wood-fred. -Raviolo Al Uovo ($25) - omg, this was expensive for being one giant ravioli, but it's a show stopper. It's insanely rich. -WOOD GRILLED LAMB LOIN ($48) -BEEF SPIEDINI ($42) The proteins were so good. Perfectly cooked. The presentation was gorgeous and busy. The staff are very welcoming.

Such a cute spot right off Broadway, perfect for a fun, casual night downtown. I'd definitely recommend making a reservation because it gets busy fast. The service was so friendly and attentive, which always makes a difference. The stars of the meal were easily the pizzas and pastas. We absolutely loved the truffle prosciutto pasta: it was rich, flavorful, and one of those dishes you keep going back for. The pizza was just as good, with really great dough and a delicious, well-balanced sauce. Overall, it's a great, easy spot for a laid-back dinner with really solid Italian food. The only letdown for us was the tiramisu, it just didn't have much flavor and was a bit dry, which was surprising compared to how much we enjoyed everything else.

I tried out Culaccino for some delicious Italian food and it was a hit! We started out with their Brussel sprouts which were easily my favorite & will go back just for these! For my entree I went with the gnocchi, I don't think it was cooked all the way, it was slightly hard in the middle for some of the pieces while others were cooked perfectly. We got some of the seafood pasta as well which had a really nice flavor & spice with a really unique noodle. We did sit in the covered patio which was a bit hot out but had some fans outside so that was appreciated. The staff is super nice and attentive & really great when it comes to recommendations, I'll definitely be back to try some more dishes!

    Empty drinks and no food.

We were seated with a group of 9. The service was slow, soooo slow. Drinks were ordered that never came. Finally a reorder was placed. We were there 90 minutes before we got any food. And a then second drink at the same time. The meatball app was on a slice of soggy bread, and another slice in top. The mozzarella pizza was soggy in the middle and hardly any toppings. I would not return.

This place is new and still learning but has work to do. Our server couldn't really give recommendations outside of the pizza and didn't know some menu items. I got a dirty martini and it wasnt good. The starter bread and ricotta was a nice touch. My pasta was very bland for how flavorful it should have been. Lacked basil and flavor and the potatoes inside it didn't make sense. I would try again but overall not impressed with menu and service.

Great service and nice ambiance, but the air conditioning in the room we were in wasn't working so it was pretty hot. But other than that, it was a delicious meal!

My husband and I went to Culaccino on a whim at 9:30 PM on a Friday night, 3 days after opening. We were seated right away, and service was pleasant. We received complementary bread and ricotta, and ordered Pappardelle and Il Re di Bologna to share. The bad: still and sparkling water will run you $9 each. We were asked if we wanted still, sparkling, or flat water. I answered still, assuming it was tap water and would be free. Nothing about the water price was mentioned. Surprisingly, 20% of our final bill ended up being water, which knocked a whole star off of this review. The good: parking was validated in the Nashville Yards East garage for 2 hours. Plus, the Pappardelle with lamb bolognese was delicious. I would come back just for that dish, but it was pricey at $26. The pizza was earthy and tasted good, but it was a bit dry without red sauce and the dough was a little underbaked on the sides. My husband enjoyed it though, and it was only $15 compared to the $26 pasta. The ambiance was pleasant. This would make a nice date night. We will be back! However, I will definitely be asking for the FREE water next time and not the $9 water.

We had a great dinner here! Parking is validated for two hours in the restaurant if you park in the Nashville yards east garage. The burrata salad and the ravioli with butternut squash was soooo good. Dessert was delicious including tiramisu. Very family friendly.

Initially we made a reservation for 7 at 8:30, but somehow the host wrote 6 for 8p. So we were squeezing into the table they provided until the party next to us was completed and we were able to add another table to give us space. I had all appetizers- the mussels, the meatballs, the caesar salad and a mocktail. The mocktail was extremely tart, needed some more simple syrup, but the rest of the meal was delicious. And the bread was fantastic and fresh. Good spot for a nice intimate dinner and they validate parking.

That is NOT balsamic. It is the soot from the crust mixed with-oil? Tomato?

Was excited to try this place because it was on a list of great Italian places in Nashville. 30 years in NJ- I've had plenty of great Italian and this was not it. The ambiance was nice - its a lovely building. The staff was courteous & pleasant. Started with the calimari. It was tender inside, crunchy out. Requested some marinara instead of the chili aioli it come with and it was pretty good. Then our meal came. 72 hour pizza appealed because I like a yeasty dough. But I picked up a slice and it flopped right over and everything slid off. Soggy mess. The middle of the pizza was as wet and mushy. I put it down and my fingers had black spots all over them. Not a little residual burnt flour- my fingers got blacker as I handled the pizza and the pizza tasted like soot. I tried a second slice after just one bite of the first , and it was the same thing. The bottom of the pizza was all burned and sooty, the top soupy and mushy in the middle. Terrible. We also ordered the chicken parm sandwich. The bread looked nice and crusty on the top. But it was impossible to pick up the sandwich because the inside was so wet and mushy that it fell apart. The top of the bread was hard like a sourdough and the inside of the sandwich, was wet and mushy. The fried chicken cutlet was nicely thin but the breading was mushy wet. Very unappealing. One bite (with a fork) and hub was done. We made the waitress aware that we were not going to eat our meal and I showed her my fingers were all smeared black after trying to remove the soot. The manager who had taken our order came over and we repeated our complaints and I showed him my black fingers. He returned with a bill and said he hoped we'd come back and they would comp. us some items. He had removed the pizza and sandwich but billed us for the calimari and the sparkling water. (They asked upfront if we preferred sparkling still or tap) Be forewarned-they do not clean their pizza oven often enough or at all. If squishy food is your thing and you like eating pizza and sandwiches with a fork- you'll enjoy it. I hope I ruined their cloth napkin wiping all the soot on it. Grateful I didn't get it on my white shirt.

    Ravioli

I was excited to try this spot but left disappointed. The restaurant is very crowded there is not enough room for the tables. My husband was bumped every time the waiter tried to pass to table or guests tried to navigate through the space. The service was very slow, my drink came after our entrees arrived. The food was mediocre, pictured is the ravioli - a single large ravioli in a bowl of oil.

We know why it's packed now. The interior is stunning, the service was on point. Professional and personable at the same time. We had the pleasure of sitting outside on a beautiful evening. It was perfect. We started with the tuna tartare and marinated octopus. I'm iffy when it comes to octopus. If it isn't done right, it's horrific. This was so tender, sliced thin, and was a perfect bite with the chilled potatoes. The tuna tartare was equally as good, but the octopus stole show. The tuna has a burnt orange vinaigrette around the outside of the plate. It's more than just a garnish. Make sure you get a bite with the tuna. For dinner we had the bolognese, duck ragu, and braised short rib. All three dishes melted in your mouth. The duck was my favorite, I added a little whipped ricotta to each bite and it was just 10/10. For dessert I asked if they could make a pistachio martini, and gave them the ingredients. Their bartender hadn't heard of one, free poured it, and absolutely nailed it. The cannoli filling was too sweet and too thick for me. It tasted like thick buttercream icing. Personal preference, but I prefer a lighter filling. All in all, I would say don't walk to Luogo...RUN. Reservations are highly recommended.

But I have overheard other people at other tables rave about it. 2. The service is always amazing. Today we had Riley who had an extremely busy section but she kept up with all her tables. Brian one of the managers came up and introduced himself to let us know that if she got too busy we could alway flag him down for assistance, but that was never the case. I watched as both kept up as the restaurant quickly filled up with the dinner rush. Riley never missed a beat and check on her tables frequently as well as answered any questions. Brian was constantly walking around introducing himself to guests and making everyone feel welcome. You know you're at a good spot when a manager comes by just to say hi and check to make sure everything is going well. 3. They also take allergies very seriously which is helpful for myself as I do have food allergies and so does my friend who I took to this restaurant. In the past they even circled all the food I was safe to eat. I honestly don't know of another place that has or will do that. 4. The food is perfect sizing. They suggest ordering multiple dishes to share but honestly the size is perfect for a single serving. "Negatives" you really do need to make a reservation and you have to make it probably 48 hrs in advance. I've tried making one 24hrs and haven't been able to get the time I wanted, and same day reservations are nearly impossible. I have walked in on a whim and was able to get bar seating with a friend. When it gets busy it for some reason it just feels extremely loud, and this could be a me thing, but I have felt most times I've come that once the rush comes in it can be hard to hear your table.

The chicken parmigiana is best-in-class for chicky parm lovers. Follow it up with the vodka pasta - the pasta servings are conservative, try 2 or 3 pasta dishes. The meatballs are also a must if you're looking for another protein. But honestly? I've tried nearly every dish and there is not one I wouldn't recommend. Gluten free (yet still delicious) pasta options are available. That inclusive option demonstrates the level of care and attentiveness. GF friends should be able to experience this pasta, too! The restaurant is in a complex of several establishments. The dining room decor is modern with seating on two levels. When we arrived, we had to wait a few minutes to be seated as the restaurant was fairly busy on a Monday night, I assume due to the happy hour special that runs all night. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer to start and some drinks. The appetizer came out promptly and was nicely done, with plentiful helpings of burrata and cherry tomatoes layered with balsamic pearls. The pearls have the appearance of caviar so it was a pretty and flavorful twist. Unfortunately, that was the end of the positives. Our dinner entrees included the chicken parmesan and grilled salmon. Both were overcooked and the salmon in particular (I asked for it to be rare in the center) was so throughly cooked it had a very grainy texture. The sauce was bland and the pasta overly soft. Service was pretty one-note as well, not rude but not particularly attentive either. Dinner ran $120 with tip including two cocktails and one beer. Really disappointing.
