    Comfortable ambiance. 10.04.2025.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What an amazing, intimate and elevated fine dining Italian experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Striking and dimmed interior with engaging and sharply dressed servers exuding flirt and flair.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was so engaged with the story telling of the restaurant's history and evolution.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The speakeasy ambience offers a full and lively bar, spacious patio dining (7P-11P), and occasional live music on the Il Mulino Stage.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Locally sourced ingredients and fresh, authentic foods imported from Italy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]In addition to the spacious and inviting open-kitchen, the wine cellar dining area illuminates luxe and light.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A modern wine cellar wall donned with 1,600 bottles of wine from their 190+ wine selections. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The combined seating consists of tables and large Godfather-style booths.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Various menus for Lunch, Dinner, Dessert, Wine, Cocktails, and Patio Dining. Our server Kristine was super fantastic, our table's spread: * Calamari with marinara, cherry pepper and Smoked Paprika * Crispy Brussels tossed in Balsamic Honey * Chicken Fettuccine Parmigiano in Reggiano Cream sauce * Chicken In Crosta Parmigiano with lemon sauce * Scratch made Veggie medley pasta * Bruschetta and fresh garlic bread We absolutely displayed a discreet level of overindulgence! The restaurant offers a few private dining rooms: *The Gold Room elegant yet cozy for 16 people with a flat-screen TV. *The 5th Avenue Dining room for 55 people with a communal/family-style tables setting. *Al Fresco Dining and Bar for 25 (reception 50) people situated on the sidewalk patio offering inviting views of the Bridgestone Arena while people watching. Has its own bar, temperature controlled and a stage. Outstanding service, accommodating chef/staff delivering delightful Italian cuisine with a welcoming price point. Complimentary Valet for guests, and reservations via Open Table. Atlanta should be the next location.

Our server Alexandra was a doll super friendly and was a great server!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was very nice inside more of an upscale restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately we ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was subpar. Very greasy, crust was tough and cheese was chewy. It was hard to complain because our server was so nice.

Although I made reservations here from a colleagues recommendation, I was greatly disappointed. Once our server making a brash joke as soon as we sat down, I was prepare for this experience to be less than worth the price point. We also had a rotating set of individuals serving us, making it a less than ideal experience as we couldn't quite pin down who our server actually was. I left a private note about this on the app we booked our reservation with and was met with no response or acknowledge they had received word of the waiters inappropriate comments. The food was decent, but it doesn't quite compare to other restaurants of a similar level in Nashville. We ordered cocktails, calamari, and the chefs special. I would avoid the calamari if you're not looking for a spicy appetizer as it is was coated in red pepper flakes. The special was good, but the potatoes and asparagus left much to be desired. Overall, this spot feels a bit like a tourist trap disguised as a high class restaurant. If you're looking for great food, I suggest some other spots!

The food I ended up with the fillet with the finger potatoes and a Caesar salad and a bottle of champagne. I was gonna go to a different restaurant, but after I saw some of the food being served and I am a stake person from Chicago all the markers 1-10 10 and above.

Came here for dinner last night. This restaurant is located inside the Hilton hotel right next to broadway. Just a heads up, if you plan to drive/uber, make sure you leave plenty ahead of time as there will be tons of traffic from broadway. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was very nice, and gave an upscale vibe. It had a dim intimate vibe that I liked. Felt like you were in a wine cellar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food and drinks were all really great and the service was good too. I will say it's a little overpriced (as everything in the touristy areas of Nashville as), but I'd say it's worth it. $15 for 1 single normal sized scallop is a little crazy though haha. I will also say the one downside was that I got chicken in my alfredo pasta and it was super dry and overcooked. Basically inedible.

This was an absolutely phenomenal meal and experience from start to finish. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we walked in, the Christmas decor was classy and beautiful, we were greeted immediately.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had a reservation and we were sat in a comfy booth.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was just right.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Immediately our server appeared who noticed we had game day apparel on and said she would make sure we'd get out on time without us even mentioning it. She also shared the specials and her suggestions. We knew what we wanted so she took food and drink order together to keep us on time for our game. The food was so good. Everything was cooked to perfection and was some of the best sauces I've had in awhile at an Italian restaurant. This is a must try in Nashville for sure.

This was definitely better than last nights dinner and less expensive. The drinks were excellent, especially the Godfather Manhattan as were the calamari and meatball appetizers. My lobster risotto was good, but super rich so I couldn't make it through the whole dish. My mom ordered chicken again and it was awesome. The raviolis in vodka sauce my brother ordered were very good as well. The others enjoyed the pizzas. Good dinner. Great service. Fair price.

We have come to this restaurant in the past and again they did not disappoint. Definitely a must try if looking for an upscale Italian experience just off Broadway. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have excellent service, food, and ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The goat cheese ravioli is absolutely delicious. This is a must try. The house bread and salad tasted great as well. We will be back!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Beautiful restaurant, moody lighting and gentle classical playing made stepping off the busy broadway a huge comfort difference.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For Chris's birthday dinner he wanted nice Italian so I sought for a place that was high quality in experience and food. The waitstaff was wonderfully kind even writing a note wishing him a Happy Birthday. The food? Remarkable. He devoured his fettuccine and jumbo shrimp with no notes to take. I had the housemade gnocchi and bolognese sauce. Wonderfully chewy and fresh gnocchi and a savory meaty sauce paired with it. We crushed every bite. They also gave us a complimentary scoop of coffee gelato. As a dessert lover, this was amazing. I could've have 5 more scoops. Would absolutely go back and will become our new downtown special restaurant.

We decide to come check these guys out for dinner, we had a reservation & were seated right away when we arrived. They start u off with some nice house bread & an eggplant spread not bad. Drinks Aperol Spritz , Pinot Grecio & Casino all good drinks. Appetizers , we tried the Breada to start & the Meatballs both good. On the Main dishes, I had the Pesto pasta it was very good, nice tasting pesto sauce. The gnocchi was also very good & Frutti di mare was good as well. For dessert we manage to have some room left & tried Limonchello ice cream & limonchello tiramisu both so good great way to end the meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice place dimly lit,[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] service was very good staff was very attentive, price wise on the high side but doable, we enjoyed our time here.

This place is delicious. If you want a nice dinner and a friendly bartender (Julia is awesome). We will visit every time we come to this crazy town. Great dinner and service and my wife love the Brussel spouts (She's very picky on those) the Calamari was the second best we've eaten. Only second the some we had in Sausalito CA. If you don't try it once you're missing out. If you do you'll be back.

Outstanding. Trattoria Il Milano in Nashville delivers on all fronts. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing atmosphere, great service and delicious food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The half of lamb rack hit the spot and had me chewing on the bones. Cooked to perfection and seasoned delicately, the overall dish complemented by some scallops was one of my favorites visiting Nashville. Definitely a must for someone looking for a next level dining experience.

Hands down best linguine I had in a long time. So here it goes, while visiting from out of town and being asked by coworkers where to eat I came across Trattoria II Mulino while doing a search online and I'm glad that I found this hidden gem!! Location right in the heart of Nashville Downtown. Atmosphere: Basement restaurant from street level with plenty of seating and very modern decor. Food: My guess is they must make the best pasta in Tennessee if not on the entire east coast. Bread and olive oil were very tasty. The meatball appetizer was out of this world and was very delicious! My Linguine with clams was probably the best pasta dish I ever had besides outside of Italy. The pasta, the sauce with a special kick and the clams were just so delicious and mouthwatering. This restaurant was extremely good, and we ended up going there 3 times in a row for lunch while in town. Unfortunately, I didn't try their pizza or other items but each of my co-workers had nothing but good things to say about their food. I'm a fan and wish we had you guys here in Southern California!!! 5 stars for delicious food and friendly service. Needless to say, I 'll be back. Enjoy and Bon Appétit.

Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar.
