While doing laundry at my moms house, her slop sink clogged and flooded her basement. I called Ryan at Cullen Plumbing around 11am and said, no hurry, but could I get someone out to clear her drain/pipes as soon as they could, and in the meantime, I would start dehumidifier and would not use washer. He said they were very busy but he would see what he could do. At 3pm, Ryan called and said Chris had finished his job early and would be able to at least stop by and see what was going on. He reported her lint sock had come off and the pipes were indeed clogged so he was able to clear the clog and have everything back to running order by the end of the day! I had a plumbing emergency in my home last week. A two person team arrived earlier then scheduled (which was a blessing). They were professional, wore masks,and I felt like they listened to what I had to say. The cost was reasonable and the team knowledgeable. While they were here, they replaced a joint on my very old basement sink which was causing issues for years. The charge for this was minimal. The company was extremely efficient with their notification and billing. I received text/ email updates with their projected arrival time, estimated bill, actual bill, and confirmation of payment in real time. First of all, I can't say enough about how prompt, polite and responsive Chris and his team are...we're doing several projects in an OLD condo and they're handling like pros twice their age. In fact, they're much more efficient (and certainly friendlier) than most of the more 'mature' shall we say, contractors that we've used in the past. The pilot light in my furnace had become intermittent - would not stay lit. In the deep of winter. Gave Cullen a call, and after checking if it was an emergency (it was not), they suggested that their specialist should see the system to properly diagnose it for a long term fix. Gave me an appointment 2 days away. On the appointed day, their specialist arrived, checked everything, replaced the pilot with another brand new one (he had it available in his truck), ensured that the rest of the system was in order and thanked me for my time. Had severe leak in bathtub faucets. Another plumber told me I had to go behind wall and replace pipes etc. Called Cullen, arrived the next day and replaced the leads in the faucets and also fixtures. No leaky faucets!!! They also told me there was no reason to rip down the wall and replace pipes which would have cost me five times as much.
