INCORRECT FALSE BILLING WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REFUSAL TO REMEDY: I'd like to start by stating that we are a small dental office and have been using Aqua Falls for years, which became assumed by Culligan. We have worked with them combined for over ten years. We utilize them for a water cooler rental, 5-gallon jugs, and distilled water for autoclaves. Service has been OK until recent when account inquiries were made over faulty/incorrect billing. I have honestly NEVER dealt with the extreme rudeness and lack of resolve as I have in dealing with Karen over two phone calls myself and one with my front desk team member. I initially inquired because we noted we had a monthly bill of $8.15 for a "3 BURNER POUROVER" per statement. My coworker called to inquire, and was advised that it was a coffee pot/service and we have been billed since 10/1/2017 (it is now 2026)! We do not have the coffee pot on hand, never did, and I assume it is a large commercial 3-pot setup. We have 8 employees max daily and do not even have a need for a coffee pot aside from our rarely-utilized Keurig in the office. Additionally, no other service, coffee, etc has ever been offered for the 3 BURNER POUROVER. It is partially my fault for not seeing the bill as we have been on autopay, but there has been no resolve with Culligan. When I spoke to Karen about the item and told her that we do not have the item and never did, she stated "well it says here you do!" in an abrasive fashion. I initially thought that it was a billing error that could easily be resolved. She did state that she would inquire about it and call back but never did follow-up after waiting approximately one week. When I called back to follow-up she again stated that "it says you have it, and you can do a buy-out for $50 if you don't want it". I again reiterated that we did not receive the item and have never had it in possession but Karen would not remedy the issue and refused to change her status on the issue. Doing the quick math we are well over $700 for a larger commercial coffee service that is fraudulent billing for an item that we do not have, and the refusal to address the matter and resolve. I may be doing a chargeback at this time since no resolve as well. Long story short, I would avoid Culligan. In speaking with other medical professionals that had their service prior, many have switched due to poor service as well. We have been a client for over ten years but have now moved to Alpine due to Karen's incompetence and lack of service. As a business owner myself I am appalled at how this was handled. I recently had a very frustrating experience with Culligan Water that I feel compelled to share. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met, and I left feeling disappointed. I have been a loyal customer for the past few years until today. I submitted a service request for my broken dispenser through their online portal twice, with no response. I then called and spoke to someone who said she would have the appropriate division return my call, which never happened. I called again and spoke to Steve, who said, "Yeah, we don't even know where those online requests go." He supposedly added my request for a dispenser repair or replacement to my next delivery, which never came. I received the usual automated recording on the 14th and confirmed my delivery for the 15th. Our delivery has always come in the morning, so at 4:50 PM, with no water or dispenser, I called to see if there was an update (as someone had to be home all day to let them in to deliver the new dispenser), and we had plans that evening. After being put on hold, Steve told me that the delivery driver was still on his route and should be there within the next 30 minutes. No one ever came. On the 16th, I called to see why we didn't get our delivery, and I was told by Steve (after being put on hold for a while), "Your house was one of two houses the driver couldn't get to because the snow was too piled up." At this point, I was completely baffled, as there was no snow piled up. I reported that and asked for a sooner delivery date, to which I was told by Steve that his manager would need to get back to me. Approximately 30 minutes later, Steve called me back to let me know someone would be out the next day (January 17th). January 17th came and went with no water delivery. No call. Nothing. Overall, my experience with Culligan Water has been highly disappointing, and I hope they can improve their customer service in the future. I'm a single mom and a Nurse... I really felt compelled to share my experience with this company, as I hope it may spare someone the headache... On one occasion one of the jugs they delivered had a flakey dark mold like substance in it, and another situation where they "forgot " my water delivery all together. Although they didn't forget the "cooler" rental fee which sat empty for 6 weeks... Go figure!!! When I called it became a debate on how they were in the right to charge me a rental fee. I as a paying customer was not given any consideration at all, nor was my family in the fact that we were unable to use the cooler without the bottle service that goes with it. They didn't care, didn't offer an apology, or reparation. Never got an actual delivery schedule. By far a terrible business model when you Can buy a cooler on Amazon and pick up bottles at Kroger or Lowe's. Never again Culligan! Been a customer for 5 years, service was always great. Have been trying to order water delivery now for 3 days , and all I get is the silly hold music. Message says "they are all busy helping other customers", ok I get it things can get busy...but not for 3 days and 3-5 calls each day trying to connect. Left messages too, no one ever calls back. Not worth 1/2 start but have to click something.....You can leave messages with the answering service, on their website, with the company after you have been on hold (because they are answering so many other calls) ha - you can try to deliver a message by carrier pigeon - you will NEVER be called back. Since Culligan bought out Aqua Falls service is horrible, unresponsive and deplorable. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! read more

I pay 500 dollars a year for services that every delivery of salt and replacing filters I have to call them and it's supposed to be automatic. I stay home all day waiting on salt delivery but they never tell me or give me a window when they are coming. And there has been couple times that they didn't show at all. Very unprofessional. No way would I recommend their service. They always have an excuse of not having enough help. But they don't have a problem taking your monthly payments. read more

I understand that paying a bill late should warrant a Late Fee. We have home delivery of bottled water, the 5 gallon size. Almost $7 dollars a jug and a $6 dollar deposit. We usually get 4 to 5 jugs a month. I was with Aqua Falls but I guess Culligan took over their routes a while back. I won't lie, I often run behind on my bill but have never failed to pay it in full. I thought I was being billed a $5 late charge when I missed the due date. No. Culligan charges a $25 Finance charge for a late bill. So for one month late they charge, in our situation. a $25 finance charge on a $65 dollar arrears. I tend to pay in chunks but now realize they charge that finance charge every month. Of course we will be dropping them as our source for drinking water. I'll pay their blood money but suggest that others should beware of their business practices. This company is a complete scam; buy your spring water elsewhere. I have been billed month after month even though THEY DO NOT DELIVER to me. I had the service for one month and paid in full and cancelled; yet the bills continue to come. I contacted them, telling them to stop billing me; yet the bills continue to come. They are threating to take me to court for my now $35.70 bill. STOP ALREADY; you are spending more money on the paper and postage. Just like the other reviews this company is a complete scam. Why doesn't any review site have negative 100? First of all, their customer service is without any doubt the absolute worst I've ever seen in my life. I owned a service company myself for 28 years and understand how important the customer is. Culligan has no clue or no care of who the customer is. Rob, I think it was, a pushy salesman to start with. After my wife called, he made an appointment and showed up the next day. After selling me a 7800.00 water softener and having it installed, he promised to come back in a week and retest and show how to use the system. After a month I had to call and finally get him to keep his promise. He did finally show up. 2 months later we decided to move and take the system with us, and he said when we got moved in, he would have an installer get with us and have the softener reinstalled for a fee of 500.00. No problem. He promised to call and stop by to do an assessment for the install, seemed like an easy job since he LIVES in the neighborhood we moved into. WRONG! One phone call message that I returned and not another attempt to contact us for over a month. I sent him a text and complained of the ridiculously poor customer service and to forget coming out I was over him and Culligan forever. Culligan and their sales team or all about a MONEY GRAB! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! BUYER BE WARNED........ They should be in the garbage business; they sure know how to sell that! I rented from them for a long time. The customer service went downhill so I changed companies. Once my account was closed and paid I returned four bottles and was owed a refund. They refuse to give me a refund and say they owe me nothing. The account had been closed for over two months and they absolutely did owe me money. This business is unethic and steals from clients.
