Culligan of Buffalo installed our reverse osmosis system in 2010 so that we could have safe, great-tasting drinking water for our family and childcare. We have been very happy with the system and every annual inspection/cleaning and filter replacement. I have been a customer of Culligan of Buffalo, MN for over the past six years in two homes. I leased a water softener with salt delivery for five years in my last home. I have leased a bottled water dispenser with bottled water delivery customer in both of my homes. The bottled water is first rate. The dependability of my leased water softener unit was sub-par with two rounds of major repairs required. I have had a couple of issues with water delivery in the past year along with experiencing the Buffalo, Minnesota office closing a half hour earlier than their posted hours on Fridays or the day before a Holiday. I complained and Mike from the Buffalo, Minnesota office listened to my issues and demonstrated concern and took care of my issues to my complete satisfaction. Thank you! read more

The house services are great! However I tried to order 5 gallon water delivery but decided against it because information on delivery was not provided! I called to be reimbursed onto my credit card and they don't even send it back to the card! Talked to someone today they said it will take a few weeks to process and they will send out a check. Worse way to refund someone their money back after you take it for more then a week already! read more

Very rude customer service. for over 20 years we leased a water softner and we went to sell our home and the buyer didn't want to lease. The customer service rep was very rude and didn't want to remove the softner. Instead of sending out a final billing they demanded payment in full and stated they would turn over to a collection agency. I of course paid immediately but they were nothing but rude. read more

My family bought a house knowing of high arsenic and hired Culligan to put in a system to filter it. We were assured over and over that they could put in reverse osmosis system and filter for arsenic. My family trusted them with our health. At the 17 month filter change my husband watched the serviceman changing filters and questioned to make sure he was replacing the arsenic filter only to find out there wasn't ever a filter for it in place! This whole time we were drinking water above EPA recommended arsenic levels. They didn't seem very concerned even when we were devastated. Thinking we were doing well for our families safety. I gave this water to my two year old and unborn child who I then breastfed while drinking this water. My son was born early and was small for his gestational age. My physician asked me why he was so small and now knowing this it was very likely due to the arsenic I ingested while pregnant. He then was hospitalized for RSV at 4 weeks which he could have also been more susceptible to because of arsenic exposure. On top of this the customer service was terrible. We had to tell them to test the water because we wanted to know exactly how much our children had been drinking and tell them this was to be their cost. They didn't provide water in the interim. When they came out with the water test results showing their basic system wasn't doing nearly enough without the arsenic filter like we should have had they brought us no water. We had to ask for drinking water and the service rep began to tell us he didn't know when we would be able to get it because the next day he had other personal obligations. As if that was a reason the company should not be accommodating. This is when my husband finally snapped and said to take everything and leave. I walked out and apparently somehow my husband agreed to have the right system put in (which we never did, we went with a new company). We have been working with the BBB for weeks and they will not even sincerely apologize for the mistake or give us all of our money back. We want others to know to look out for their families safety and learn from our mistake. You can never be too trusting when it comes to your health. Who knows what we will have to go through health wise in the future because of their mistake. The new company also pointed out that we had a very outdated system and because it doesn't shut down when the filters are full most likely it doesn't even work well the entire time between their 17 month service calls for replacement (on the basic reverse osmosis or added filters).
