Great company, great people, with a reliable, professional service! They took on my drain repair job and did a thorough and fantastic job at identifying and resolving the problem. They basically had to jackhammer the floors in my basement and laundry room and replaced the underground collapsed cast iron piping. They also replaced/upgraded the drain pipe from my kitchen to my floor drain in the laundry room. Overall, they did an excellent job resolving my plumbing problem. And, they were not only always on time, but were sure to clean up after themselves before leaving the site. Oh, I forgot to mention that the price was great and reasonable, too. Let's say I was shocked in a very positive way over the total cost. I would very highly recommend Mark's Plumbing Service for any and all of your plumbing needs. While working with a local non-profit, I needed to find a plumber who could handle a number of plumbing-related items in an old church building. We had both a tight budget and a tight timeline. I first called one of the large, heavily advertised plumbers thinking that this was our best option. After paying $79 just to receive an estimate, their technician spent most of the visit trying to sell us extra services that we didn't actually need. The final estimate that we received was much higher than we could afford and they could not commit to our schedule. To add insult to injury, their technician slapped service stickers on our furnaces and water heaters before they were even hired. I decided to look for alternatives, and found Mark's Plumbing while searching the internet. I called Mark's office, and Mark himself met me at the building about an hour later. Mark and one of his plumbers walked through the building and identified all of the work required. We received a very fair and reasonable estimate about an hour later, and they started work the very next day. Over the course of the next three days, they performed all of the work required, spent extra time working with the inspectors, and completed the job with no surprises. Mark's Plumbing got the job done on time to meet our deadline and at a cost almost one half of what we would have paid the other company. Fantastic company! I originally scheduled a service call with a large company to repair a leaking drain line, but then read so many negative reviews about price gouging that I decided to keep looking. I tend to prefer small, individually or family owned businesses (being a small business owner myself) and Mark's Plumbing seemed to fit the bill. I called and spoke with Mark himself. It sounded like they were pretty busy today and he suggested they could come early next week. Because I was already at home I really wanted to get it taken care of that same day. I told this to Mark and he said that he would do what he could. He checked his plumbers' schedules and said he could get me in sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. At 1:00 p.m. sharp a plumber arrived, quickly diagnosed the problem, told me how best to repair it, and what the cost would be. He said he needed some materials to do the job right and would be right back. Indeed he was and before long my leaking drain was repaired. The repair may not have been all that complicated, but it was nevertheless above my comfort level. That said, I'd trust Mark's for any plumbing repair, from the simple to the much more complex. The unbelievable customer service has made me a customer for life. I can only speak about my experience with this one plumber but he could not have been friendlier or more professional. 03/01/16 = Tom and Jim came out to our house to repair leaking plumbing under our kitchen sink. They also installed new fixtures that we had purchased. They showed up early and were friendly and professional. There were a few "curveballs" due to the 1958 construction of our house. No problem with these two pros...they had all the repairs and replacements done in a few hours. They took the time to explain to us what the problem was, and how they were going to fix it. Not only would I call them again if I needed to...but I wouldn't mind if they were our neighbors. That's how nice they both were. I called Mark's Plumbing Service to help with a main water line leak along with pictures of the issue. Mark responded back within 20 minutes recommending I contact our HOA since the line appeared to be commercial. Although Mark said he would love the business he provided honest feedback on how our HOA should cover issues like this and save us money.
