Every year I make a trek out to Pungo for fresh sweet berries from Cullipher's Farm. There are a bunch of different produce to pick from and even yummy ice cream or strawberry slushes. The workers are nice and laid back so you can wander around with out feeling rushed. When your back can't take picking the fields don't worry they have pre picked options galore. My family and I were looking for inexpensive fall festivities. So we ended up at Cullipher Farm. It's a bit of a drive out in Pungo, but definitely worth going. When we arrived it was a lot of people there. They have cows, a playground, picnic tables, a hay ride (seasonal), a corn maze, apple and different fruit picking, a pumpkin patch, farmers market, ice cream, and etc. They also have port-a-pottys on site. This was my first time and me and my family enjoyed ourselves. Even though it was a lot going on people wise we were able to get a picnic table and had lunch there. They had 2 food trucks out there also. The kids were having fun on the playground which is a decent size. The hay ride ends at 2pm so we missed that. But it looked fun. The market part isn't big. But they have huge brussel sprouts, tomatoes, different local honey, pies, apple cider, watermelon, frozen meat, and like 10-14 different types of apples. I seen apples I never knew existed. I'd love to have tried them all. Their apple cider is delicious. I got a quart and made apple cider floats, and they were so good!! Add a little cinnamon sugar and pumpkin spice and it taste like pie!! My daughter had an apple cider slushy with vanilla ice cream and she was hooked!! She went 4 days in a row!! Lol. The baked goods were different pies, cookies, muffin tops, and more. Everything was priced reasonably. The people there were friendly and everyone was just having a good time. I recommend taking a trip out here if you want a laid back fun time!! Check them out!! This place is neat to explore. There's plenty of land to have plenty of different crops to grow and customers to pick from. On this very hot summer day, I wasn't inclined to pick anything but the market was a wonderful draw for my curiosity. It has packaged goods (jams, pickled foods, syrups) and fresh veggies and fruits (they sell figs!). But the most note-worthy are the unique homemade breads! There were savory ones like bacon cheese and then the sweet fruity one like peach and the muffin tips like chocolate red velvet, blueberry, etc I believe they have ice cream too so I need to go back to try all these items! read more

I came here for a school field trip with my daughter's school. I had the best experience here learning about strawberries, the farm, and picking strawberries. I paid $9 per person, and that came with a carton to fill with strawberries, a wagon ride, and a lesson on strawberries. The strawberries that I picked were so sweet and juicy. I even stopped by their little shop and bought a delicious berry pie. They also have a very cute and fun playground there for the little ones. I enjoyed my time here. read more

This is the only place to pick apples in the Hampton Roads area and they know and act like it. 1. My first complaint is why does the farm close at 6, but they stop allowing people to do apple picking at 2 pm? The orchard isn't even that big to be worry about people being out there too late. Last year, I arrived there 7 minutes after they stopping letting people go to the orchard. This year, I made it with 15 minutes to spare. 2. When you come during the week, they only had a total of four rows available to pick apples. There few apples that were on the trees, were rotten. It took a while to find some that were pickable. The chemicals that spray on the apples made my hands itch, which is a first time that has ever happened to me in the over a decade I have been applepicking in other states. I was planning on making apple sauce so I had to supplement more apples from their market. 3. The apples in the market - there were so many bruised and less than ideal apples in the market. You can't always control what is happening in the orchard, but you would think there would be more effort in what is placed in the market. This is my last trip to the farm and I guess I will be traveling to other parts of the state for better experience. read more

We drive from Norfolk to pick organic strawberries and blueberries. The clerk here at Cullipher Farms just informed me that they in fact do spray their strawberries and blueberries with pesticides. They are conventionally grown here and not organic. On a positive note, they did have lots of strawberries to pick. They did charge me 4.00 to pick blueberries, but there are no blueberries, so that was a big lie, just to get my 4.00. I'm. Going to attempt to get a refund. I'll keep you posted. read more

My friends and family and I were so excited to go apple picking and pumpkin picking. First we'll start with the apple picking, which was the main reason for our visit. While we were waiting in line, a family was approaching the check-in line, they had a baby in an all terrain stroller. Perfect for apple picking. They were about 20 feet from the line when the adult employee loudly and rudely announced baby strollers were not allowed in the Orchard. She was very nasty and aggressive. She was hollering that federal regulations do not allow for strollers in the Orchard. The dad said what do I do with my baby? She says no strollers allowed! Wow, feeling warm and fuzzy already. We're walking to the apple trees that are available for pick your own. We had to walk for quite a ways as most of the Orchard was roped off. We finally found two rows that we could pick from. There were almost no apples on the trees. The few apples that were on the trees, were rotten. Not a little rotten. Extremely rotten split open, with holes and giant sunken bruises. They were nasty! The ground was littered with rotten apples also and there were wasps everywhere eating all the rotten fruit on the ground. The apples we did pick were not that great and it took a while to find some that were pickable. And while we were picking one of our friends who had checked in before we arrived, told us that they were berated for bringing their water bottles. They did not realize it was just against the rules. The employee berated them loudly and very rudely that federal regulations do not allow water bottles in the orchard. Another friend had her baby in a carriage and she wasn't allowed to bring the carriage. So they had to carry the baby he's only a year old but he weighs like 40 pounds. He's a giant baby, so that wasn't fun for them. Another friend had to go back to the car to put her purse in the car because purses are not allowed. It just wasn't fun being yelled at and regulated to death just to pick a few rotten nasty apples. Moving onto the pumpkin patch. There weren't many pumpkins in the patch to pick. But we were determined to each get a pumpkin. There were.10 of us. It took a while for us to find a pumpkin each. Between pumpkin patches, there are wide mowed strips of grass to walk on. We were all walking on the large mode area when an employee shouted out across two patches for us to stop walking in the pumpkin patch because we were going to break the pumpkins vines. We shouted back we are not in the patch. We are walking on the mowed strip of grass. She said well make sure you don't walk on the pumpkin vines in the patch because we don't want the vines damaged! We looked at each other like is this really happening? These people are so nasty. And we were exactly where we were supposed to be. We went to the market. There wasn't much to choose from. We did get the apple cider donuts. Which were absolutely amazing! We also had some homemade ice cream. It was wonderful. I got the pumpkin cheesecake and apple pie in a waffle cone. My husband got sweet potato fluff. The reason I'm leaving two stars is one for the donuts two for the ice cream. We bought 2 small containers of donuts, two pumpkins, 2 small bags of apples and one tomato. They came to $72. Wow. I was stunned. Next, we went to the corn maze. It was very underwhelming. There were broken branches that we had to step over. Vines growing everywhere. And it smelled moldy. It didn't seem maintained very well. It was a little decrepit and stinky. We only went halfway and turned around and went back. Wasted $20 there. Finally it's time to go to the sunflower field and pick sunflowers. I've been looking forward to this all day. We exit the maze and say all right let's go get some sunflowers. Our friend said we already went there. There are four sunflowers in the whole field don't bother. They showed us a picture of them standing in the sunflower field. It was empty. I saw one sunflower in the picture. At this point, I am extremely frustrated and very disappointed. We were really looking forward to having a fun day. We did not want to create bad memories so we laughed it off and joked about the unpleasant experiences we were having. After all, where you are is not important, who you're with is what matters. We decided we were going to enjoy each other's company regardless of our imperfect day read more

Cute apple picking and play area for kids. They do not allow strollers in the picking area because of larger regulations. Cullipher Farm is one of the most well rounded U-pick farms in the area. They offer a wide range of fruits (and sunflowers) to pick throughout the summer and fall months. They have quite the packed schedule and don't skip a beat. Since we've lived here, we have picked strawberries, blueberries peaches, apples and grapes. Check their website to see the different crops throughout the year. Some things to note: - check their Facebook to keep up-to-date with last minute changes due to weather and if the fields are overpicked of fruit in season - they have a great market on site, where you also cash out for your pickings (when they do apples, you cash out at the shack near the apple orchard). They have fresh produce (place of origin indicated), jams, preserves, butters, salsas, sauces, fresh baked goods, ciders, meats & seafood and even baked goods that they make on site. They also offer Nightingale ice cream sandwiches that I had for the first time last weekend (GASP! I know, I have definitely been missing out) - there is a separate shop, next door to the market that sells ice cream, mini donuts and you MUST try their slushies! It's usually the fruit that is in season to pick. Love the apple and strawberry! - KID FRIENDLY ALERT - they have a huge play area in the back, equipped with all sorts of modified mini tractors with bicycle pedals (put some oomph into them, they require some muscle), slides, swings etc. We have picked basically everything and our favorite fruits to pick here are apples, and I believe they might be the only ones to offer apples in the fall in this area, unless you go to Carter mountain. (My kids said to give this place 0 star and 1 star.) If you like rules, this is the place for you! Probably the most ridiculous rule was that we were not allowed to bring water with us on this 90 degree day. We walked 10 steps before my 4 year old sadly said "I'm thirsty already." Most places inflate the price of PYO fruit because they expect you to sample the fruit, but this place inflates the price of the peaches ($18 for a half peck), charges a $3/person admission fee on weekends, AND strictly enforces the no eating rule. In my opinion, part of the fun of peach picking is sampling a peach to decide which peach is the tastiest and which tree to pick from. But 5 minutes after we arrived, the employee snuck up on us and caught us eating a peach. When I asked if I could finish it, she told me to put the half eaten peach in my PYO bag. What! Other rules included: Must sanitize before entering field. No bags allowed. No chairs allowed. No umbrellas allowed. No food you bring allowed. Should I add to the list "no fun allowed"? read more

This farm was awesome! We went for the you pick pumpkin patch and boy did it deliver. Many different kinds and sizes to choose from at a very reasonable price. No ticket purchase needed for entry. We also bought a few things from the farm market too- heirloom tomatoes and muscadines. When we left there was even a good truck arriving and ice cream being served. We had a great time here! We're new to the area and miss the farms we used to go to back home. This was so comforting with the amazing kids play area! We especially loved the duck races and the corn husk teepee. With 3 young kids, I never need 3 full size slushies for them. It's usually a struggle at places to try and figure out if I can have an extra cup, then try and pour it while the kids are all watching and there's never a good place to try and pour a slushie. ANYWAY this place sells slushies by the half cup! A perfect size for the young ones!! We picked some sunflowers, bought out the little market store and called it a day! We loved all their produce but we weren't fans of the baked goods we got. There wasn't anything wrong with them, we just didn't live the cider donuts or the peach crumb bread. I think we stopped at both the markets today - it is now split into two. One is mostly just fresh flowers and sunflowers sold either by the bunch pre-arranged or per stem. I got some beautiful, large sunflowers for $1 a stem for a bouquet at home and looked at some of the beautiful other flower arrangements. Small window advertised pound cakes but I've already hit my pastry items for the week. There is another sister market around 4 miles further down with salsa, canned pickles and okra (YUM), fresh fruits and veggies, honey, and some other items. Shop local! Support small business! I love Cullipher farm. This location is typically where we would go during the fall for their corn mazes and sunflower fields, but it looks like they've done some renovations to make an expanded market and they've moved their ice cream here as well! I was happy to see all their usual produce: fruits and veggies, bread, jams, meat, and cold beverages! They also have a large play area for kids in the back, equipped with ride on toys. We came here around mid day so it was way too hot to explore! Maybe during the fall when it's cooler out. Of course, we had to grab some ice cream! The have an assortment of flavors for $2.25 a scoop, and you know I always have to have a waffle cone, which is $0.50 extra! There is plenty of seating around the building for you to cool off and relax. Every summer we look forward to going peach picking! They have plenty of trees to pick from and they normally rotate which rows to choose from so that you are receiving ripe fruit. Today, many of the peaches were pretty firm still, but they will continue to ripen after we picked them. I'm so happy to be back on the east coast. Fresh produce all over the place!! I have been following Cullipher Farms on my Facebook for a while now. I finally got the opportunity to pick some strawberries. I headed out to Virginia Beach Saturday morning. We arrived around 11a. It was one of their first days open. There was a small amount of people already picking. You were able to pick spaced apart and pick without your mask... as long as you were far from others. Otherwise a mask stays on. The staff were amazing. They were so friendly. The indoor produce market had produce from Florida and Georgia. I think North Carolina too. They had strawberries from their farm and asparagus. Everything is priced well. It is not overly priced. Our strawberries were $16 a bucket. The bucket averaged 5-5.5lbs. So in the end it was about $3 a pound. Perfect! I had 3 buckets full. When I got home I cleaned them, trimmed the tops and froze them. My freezer smelled amazing. I can not wait to get more produce from them. They are worth the drive. read more

Coming to Cullipher farm is always a treat! We come almost every season for a different experience each time. Whether it be pumpkin, blueberries or strawberries, their selection is always excellent. This past visit we picked blueberries for the first time and it was so much fun. They had so many to pick from, with a lot more getting ready as well. We also did strawberries and surprisingly there was also still so many good ones to be picked. We also got to play in the kids play area which was fun. Finished off with some really delicious ice cream and mini donuts. We chose a few items from inside the shop as well. Staff members were so friendly and welcoming. My favorite farm in Virginia Beach. They have every type of fruits for picking each season. They also have really good ice cream. Best of all they have the best market for fresh produce and meat and other food items. You really don't need to go to a grocery store once you begin shopping here. Everything is so affordable. There is a free huge play area in the back of the market which is great for kids to do something for free and be outside. However, they do not allow dogs, I wish they did allow dogs. read more

I make sure to hit up the strawberry fields here each year but I actually had never done apple picking til this year. I figured what better way to start off fall? Though the morning I went was hot still it was fun and very perfect for picking. I was super happy to take home a few pounds of apes to enjoy. I made a delicious apple cake and an apple pie. Plus I still have a few apples. Now in the summer their strawberry fields are top notch. And the corn maze is a lot of fun in the fall. Cullipher Farms in years past, for me, was the go to for kindergarten field trips. They were always so kind. I went there for several years with all of my kids. Not sure what has changed. My youngest daughter is now in college. My mom, aged 79, wanted to go and pick strawberries and I had good memories of Cullipher so I recommended this. So sorry I did.... We arrived and were given buckets and told we couldn't take any bags with us. I had my very small purse,that contained my car keys and my credit cards, and I was sure my small bag wouldn't be a problem. Just to be sure, I transferred my items to a small grocery bag. We went and picked strawberries and I carried my grocery bag and picked. I filled my bucket that they gave me and left the fields and paid for my bucket of overpriced strawberries. My mom and my stepdad were still picking and I thought I'd bring them a bottle of water (it was really hot and they are both aged 79). Just as I was walking out of the fields a very aggressive woman started shouting at me "WE TOLD YOU NO BAGS AND NO FOOD OR DRINKS ON THE FIELDS. YOU WERE TOLD THE RULES BEFORE YOU STARTED PICKING". I was stunned. I asked the woman if she was seriously questioning me for bringing water to two elderly persons when the temperature outside was in the 80's. And I also asked her if her concern was my bag and offered to let her look in my bag to if her fear was that we were stealing strawberries. She responded that it "was a health issue and we can't have people bringing food and drinks on the fields". I then asked her what the health issue was with bottles of water given to elderly pickers and she then told me to talk to her boss. I asked her for her name and she refused to give it to me. I then walked up to the other lady who was working the counter, and pointed to the really rude woman and asked for her name, and she refused to give me her name. read more

No bags no water no strollers no nothing out on the strawberry fields. We didn't end up picking due to the no bag rule ( I had a diaper bag with me). The price is okay for the amount of fresh strawberries you can buy. We did try a slushie and vanilla ice cream both very good. Apple picking season has come and gone. Luckily this farm was on my radar. Found it through pictures from our CM Yoonie so I say Thank you Soo Much!!! There are many farms that offer the Apple picking experience, but the drive was several hours away, and then factor in the rise of gasoline prices it would cost a few hundred to pick an Apple lol. Signage is visible almost everywhere as we got closer to the farm in terms of turning right and left, and then parking onto the field not to far from the corn stalks. Apple picking on a Friday morning was only open for a few hours. I would recommend going on their Facebook page for updates or calling before heading over. Customer service is great here and everyone was friendly. One of the employees told us to walk past where we parked the car to a little small shack for the Apple picking experience. There we picked a small bushel bag that was estimated to be $15-$18 to fill since it was weighed by the pound. The second bag was $40-$45 and we decided against that since there's only the two of us. We walked up and down the orchard just picking where we were allowed, since the choices varied weekly by availability. It was a lot of fun and we took pictures without having to battle the crowds. Once done we walked over to the sunflower field and picked an unopened one to cut to take home. The hubs convinced me that I would enjoy the blossoming of the sunflower and I did! Bring a bucket or bottle with water to settle your cuttings in so it doesn't wilt in the car. It's priced the same per flower regardless of how small or big. Oh and the farm store offers apples to purchase for those that do not want to pick. There is abundance of corn, cookies, salsa, dressing, bbq sauce, meats, and breads to choose from. We settled on the Rosemary loaf, apple cider, 6 corn which we wished we had bought more, and a dozen and a half of mini donuts. I chose the apple cider, salted caramel, and pumpkin spice flavors. The size are perfect for toddlers, and those weighing their food IMO lol Everything was excellent and consumed within a few days. Next time we would bring our cooler to take home some of their sealed meats. Oh they also have ice-cream. It was a gorgeous afternoon for a first visit to Cullipher Farm. The market is well known at the beach and surrounding area for quality produce. The location is Pungo, yes that may seem like a long way for us City Slickers I know. However on a nice Summer day you will appreciate a nice drive with fresh air with kids and dog in toe. They do have distribution into the Southside of HRVA. At one point they did offer a satellite off First Colonial in VB. The market is situated off the road with awesome signage that makes it difficult to miss them. GPS also works perfectly. Parking is a drive up to the front of the stand that actually gets a bit hectic when busy. Be careful backing with small children. My daughter and I explored a bit with the objective of getting the lesser known ice-cream from the stand that comes from Virginia local Homestead Creamery. Their dairy is in Western Virginia and they supply local stores with milk and other products. I'm a huge fan. The system for getting ice-cream is to purchase at the counter, then it's scooped up out of the tiny storefront a few feet away. They offer traditional and waffle cones and a half dozen flavors or so. No soft serve. They welcome you to sample. The staff was super helpful and friendly. My Butter Pecan cone fabulous and daughters Crunchy Lemon yum...it's worth the drive. While browsing other goods such as Cullipher's spectacular looking, sun flowers and vegetables I was approached by Kim Cullipher to ask if I needed assistance. She's a sweetheart and a delight to talk to. The passion of supplying local produce to the area is obvious. Her family has owned the farm for decades and it remains a working farm. Family members Mike and Louis are still very involved in the day to day operation. The market packs a punch with other items you may not expect such as fresh pies, a large variety of muffin tops and even salad dressings. Worth the drive and bring the kids to explore the nearby garden for photos. Special places like Cullipher should not be taken for granted as we see less and less local markets these days. read more

Delightfully expensive is a good summation of fall events here at Cullipher Farm. I'll start on a positive note - this is a great place to entertain littles for an extended period of time. Be sure to pack the hat and sunscreen because I guarantee they will want to do all the things - apple picking, playing, running through the pumpkin and sunflower patches, eating ice cream and visiting the cows. There's definitely plenty to see and do. The farm is HUGE, so wear comfortable shoes if you intend to keep up with those littles. We came by a few weeks ago, late September, on a Sunday after church. Our initial intent was to pick some apples and wander the pumpkin patch. Early in the season, apples are $2.99/lb to pick yourself, which is a bit absurd considering I'm doing the work - but if you are there for the experience (and this is a great educational opportunity), it's not a bad deal. If you wait until later in the season (late Oct.), you can get pre-picked for WAY less. Also, when we got our bag for picking at the stand by the orchards, the 2 young ladies working had ZERO clue how the apples we were picking should taste. Call me crazy, but most people are not going to know what a Ludacrisp apple is supposed to taste like. So bring the googler or research beforehand so you can make an informed decision about what you want to pick. The pumpkins were $.79/lb for those you also go pick and cut from the vines yourself. My advice (and this is notable if you want to save some $$): VISIT the pumpkin patch. BUY the pumpkins from Aldi's (or Walmart or wherever). You can spend a small fortune here if you pick even just a small number of field pumpkins. The market is open-air and stocked to the gills with delicious jarred condiments, pickles, fresh breads and bakery items. They also have ice cream and cold dairy items so I'd recommend a cooler to be packed if you plan to shop. The open play field for kids is precarious for toddlers and those younger. They have a ton of these bike tractor things and kids can go anywhere they like. My 2-year-old, like any child at that age, became sensory overwhelmed and not hear the older kids peddling up behind her. Even the older kids weren't paying much attention to where they were going or had no idea how to control these bikes. It was a little hectic. If you have a kid playing here, please watch them, regardless of their age. They also had these water pumps, which looked like they needed some bleach or other disinfectant run through - the water was green and disgusting. Half of the pumps were also broken. She did enjoy the pipe slides and mini corn maze. So - pack your wallet along with the sun protection and comfy shoes. It's fun, but it's fun you will pay for. read more

I decided to take my kids out to the farm today, we were excited about the blueberries, strawberries and the sunflowers. The blueberries were closed, the strawberries were very slim pickings but we were able to purchase some at their market, also since today was the last day for the strawberries they were free, sunflowers were also free. Cullipher Farm Market is definitely one of my "happy places" in Virginia Beach! I've enjoyed every visit here, even with a fractured arm in Fall, 2021. The local produce is delicious, and the employees are very friendly, helpful. Yesterday (10/21/2023) we bought lots of produce, my favorite (pumpkin butter jam), and a big pumpkin. Fall is my favorite season here! Glad to know that the market will stay open on a limited basis until December! :-) read more

I have been coming to Cullipher Farms for over 10 years, I bring all my friends and family here because I love to show off the more rural areas of VB, and Cullipher Farms has always been the perfect place to do that. This weekend, I had family come to stay with me and the highlight of the weekend I had planned for them was visiting Cullipher Farms. We had planned to pick peaches. I brought my toddler and my family's chiweenie. We get to the U-Pick area and are told we can't bring strollers or wagons, I was a bit uncomfortable, considering Cullipher has always been so family focused. I had been talking this place up for weeks, so of course I shrugged it off. Then, we were told no dogs could go near the peach trees. We took turns picking our peaches, then made the trek back to the Cullipher Farmers Market. Our chiweenie was so hot, being out on the heat so I went straight inside the market to get him a cool drink. I was told no dogs could be in the market. The heat index is around 100 and I explained that. I just needed to cool him off, I wanted to grab something for him to drink and let him feel the AC for a minute. The ladies upfront then told me to feel free to sit outside and use the faucet on the side of the market. I found a spot and gave my dog water from my hand. A gentleman then walks up to me and pretty abrasively and tells me my dog can't be on the farm at all. I told him I understood, so I was waiting outside the market cooling him off with some water. He told me that was not okay, and my dog had to be off the property and told me to leave. I explained we were on a family vacation and I had no where else to go, and he told me to go put the dog in the car. He got increasingly hostile and angry, I seriously was so embarrassed that I had been telling my family about this place for weeks and made this the highlight of the trip. I'm so sad that I'll never be back to one of my favorite places in Virginia Beach. This place used to really value family and have a deep care for customer experience. People come to this farm for memories, and truly for the whole immersive experience. This place just has rude employees and overpriced fruit. At least it's safe from wagons and chiweenies. read more

We love Cullipher Farms in the fall! We have not experienced it for berry picking but have gone a few times for good ol' pumpkins! Every time we have gone in the fall, they have been very busy with families and people participating in the various activities they have to offer! Speaking of activities, they honestly have something for every member of the family. Featuring three different mazes-cotton, sunflowers and corn, each is at a different difficulty level and enjoyable for all! They also have hay rides and tons of you-pick pumpkins! There are play areas for kids as well as the option to buy Apple cider and other items. The you-pick pumpkin areas are our favorites! They have all sorts of pumpkins from ones perfect for carving to odd shapes, sizes and colors as well as tiny ones perfect for decorating. It's really fun being able to pick our own and load up the wagon with all those we found and pulled off the vine! We have found prices to be very reasonable and the entire place to be well run! For as busy as they are during these times, all the staff help it run smoothly and efficiently. They do a great job and are the best place to visit for some fall fun! read more

What a delightful place! It's nicely in the country in Virginia Beach. I stopped in and it is a true Farm Market run by a Farm. They have homemade pastries, pies, ciders, ice cream, and all kinds of vegetables and fruits picked and harvested from their own fields. I instantaneously fell in love while visiting the area on vacation. It is very popular with locals. I mean, the cars were literally pouring in in groves during open hours, at least for the period of time I was there. I grab a little bit of everything. I support local farms and love them with a deep passion, and we have to do so. They need our support. Go, and take the kids and grandkids. They will love it and it will foster great memories! Stopped in today and got a great haul of peaches, nectarines, corn, Concord grapes, figs, and a special Nightingale ice cream sandwich for my 30 minute drive home. The gourmet ice cream sandwiches are new here. They have a bunch of amazing flavors in a freezer- don't miss it! I chose Peaches & Cinnamon. It was perfect on this hot day. Visited on the first day of strawberry picking 2018. I remember coming here 25+ years ago! Cullipher Farms has come a long way and expanded tremendously. If you have little ones, there are more than enough activities to keep them occupied. We filled two gallon buckets of strawberries at $15/bucket. They charge by the bucket that they provide and allow you to take home. If you bring your own bucket, they weight it first. We also did the tractor ride for about $3. That was the best & most informative tractor ride I've ever been on! Mr. Lewis Cullipher was the facilitator who was a wealth of information! Truly appreciated. I definitely want to come back when it's blueberry, apple, & snap bean picking time! I highly recommend visiting Cullipher Farms! They definitely know the business. read more

This is a small market with plenty of options. There's a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, all for a good price. You can even get ice cream, baked goods like muffin tops, and pick your own apples. Additionally, staff members are nice and helpful. read more

It's a cute little strawberry patch. It's probably not that little, but I believe it's early in the season. The man who greeted us was nice and let us know how far we could go out to pick strawberries as there was a rope to show where to stop. We got a Groupon to go to this Farm to pick strawberries. We also got a complimentary jar of preserves. We picked blackberry. They had strawberry and strawberry jalapeño. I believe there were others, but I just wanted the blackberry preserves. We got 2 red buckets, which we filled and will definitely be freezing some for later because we can't eat all of them. Will definitely come back to check out their farmer's market because we got a little list and ended up there first. Loved it! We also want to try their CSA next year and are looking forward to the apple picking. read more
