THE BREAKFAST CLUB -add turkey

I love this place SO MUCH!! Delicious food and coffee, very generous portions, incredible pastries -I'm OBSESSED with everything but especially the Ava Gardner!! And the staff members are always so friendly and polite!! Every item is named after an iconic character/movie, and they always have new monthly specials!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I just love the general atmosphere of this place!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can't recommend enough!!

I have been wanting to try this place, I love croissants! The thing that has been keeping me away is the location (for me) I'm sure it's handy if you work in this building or work downtown, but commuting here and then where do you park to hop in and get lunch? Maybe you could get away with staying in the loading zone? Hit or miss because you don't know how long it'll take to get your order if you just walk in. I got the Holy Grail. It was very good! By the time I was 2/3 in the meat became very salty and I almost couldn't finish it. Might need something more to cut the saltiness of the meat or more vinegar, and cheese, not very much of either on the sandwich. A little spendy for lunch, but worth it once in awhile. I also got the "meal" which was Mac and cheese(or salad) and a bite of one of their desserts. The Mac and cheese was HEAVY on either garlic or truffle, it was a little much. But it was good overall just not your regular Mac and cheese taste. The brownie was very good, dark chocolate. With the meal you get like 1/4 of one of their regular bars. Next time I would try the grilled cheese or back to the future sandwich. The lady making the sandwiches I think was the owner, there was also another lady helping out. I wish she would have explained things a little more like what the desserts were, I didn't realize they were right in front of me when choosing. And she didn't ask if I wanted Mac and cheese or salad with my meal. The owner you could tell took her work seriously and she loves her craft!

This place was amazing. What an unsung gem in Anchorage. First off all the names of the sandwiches are fantastic. They do such an amazing job. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Staff was friendly space is small.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You might walk right by it and not even notice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But couple of spots if you need to sit and eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Today we picked up our food and then took it on the road with us. It was delicious the whole way. Don't let the price fool you it does seem like a lot. But the flavors, the quality and everything are there. I will absolutely be back here again during the week for a delicious breakfast

Hours posted but not followed. Take your chances or just go somewhere else.

I've been meaning to try this place since I love croissants and I wasn't disappointed! I tried the breakfast club, which comes with bacon, egg, cheese, and garlic mayo on a croissant. The sandwich was good and the croissant was a nice size. The only thing I didn't care for was the garlic mayo, which overpowered the sandwich for me. Along with the meal was a wookie bar and Mac n cheese. The wookie bar, a Browned butter chocolate chip cookie, was really tasty! The Mac n cheese was fine, it was cheesy and had great texture but the flavor was missing. The service was excellent and it was fast. I can't wait to try more dessert options and other croissants!

Sparkling berry fireweed lemonade! really glittering and was so tasty! (Donut from Kobuk)

I got a strawberry fireweed shiny lemonade and it was really glittering!! It was so good! I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is super cute but kind of hidden.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff was fast and very nice and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the movie theme was super cool![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This lovely bakery sandwich/salad shop is located on the first floor of the Petersen towers in downtown Anchorage. I found them randomly searching for sweets on doordash. Their brownie looked ooey gooey delicious. And it was! Their packaging and thank you note were a great touch. I was pleasantly surprised with cults Mac and cheese. I would order it again. Their raspberry bar definitely hit the sweet spot! I can't wait to try their other fun drinks, salads and sandwiches. Definitely give cult classics a try when you're looking for lunch in downtown Anchorage.

Back to the Future Croissant Sandwich BACK TO THE FUTURE

Some of the best Croissants and baked goods I have found in town! The Back to the Future is my go to!

This business popped up on DoorDash one day about a week ago. I ordered lunch two days in a row. As a business, it pays to be on DoorDash and offer excellent product and service. I had never heard of Cult Classics prior. Sandwiches ordered were Back to the Future, a turkey, tomato, lettuce, and cheese with I think an aïoli mayo. And Monty Python, a modern version of the Cubano. Both were on fresh croissant, and as a meal combo came with the Top Gun mac & cheese, and a small confection. The sandwiches and their ingredients are outstanding. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. The sandwiches were so delicious, hence ordering two days in a row. The mac & cheese is so decadent and cheesy as it should be, but the portion is also fairly large and you'll want a nap. It's a great lunch to have half of later for dinner actually. It travels well, and is still plenty tasty hours later when you're finally hungry again and are ready to eat the rest of it. I'm not a big fan of sweets so I can't really comment on the quality of the brownie and the cookie bar that came with the combo each day, as it was given to another to enjoy. However, the combination makes the price point very fair, considering the items received, the quality of your food and service, and the quantity. I had also ordered a raspberry lemonade and it was so lovely. I had to cut it several times with water and ice because of how sweet it was and it never lost its fresh AquaFresca flavor. Overall well done well done well done I'm so delighted with the care and craft from this restaurant I highly recommend checking them out and I'm a customer as long for as they wanna make me sammiches.

Ordered via Door Dash. I ordered 4 cinnamon rolls and only received 2. They never communicated with me that they were only sending 2.

The family that owns and operates this gem is Greek and they are not only amazing cooks, but they care about their community!! I have been there eating several times this winter and obviously homeless people would come to the door and be given water, hot soup, half a sandwich, etc. that just made me love this place more. Now to the food. First of all I had the meatball sub which was not only delicious but super filling. The meat was very well seasoned, and the fresh basil just made the marinara pop even more, add the freshly shaved Parmesan cheese and you've got something special. The homemade bread puts this thing into overdrive! Crispy on the outside, light, delicate but not falling apart and heavy enough to hold together all that deliciousness without being filling like you just ate a large pizza. Now to the ridiculous tomato basil soup. I love the clam chowder but the tomato basil is my favorite. Savory, full of flavor, smooth, creamy and not greasy. This in my opinion is the perfect pairing to the meatball sub. You're welcome! The customer service here is amazing too just like the owners and the food. You will always be greeted by a smiling face, and treated like family. You will not regret stopping here. I've eaten the Meatball sub, The Philly, the lasagna and The Gyro ( lamb and chicken) all have been 10 out of 10. The ambiance is like a neighborhood dinner with a small dining room. You will love it!

I ordered the BLT and had the chicken lemon soup The soup was very lemony and salty but I ate the whole bowl it was pretty good. The BLT had too much lettuce on it and a couple pieces of bacon but it was your standard white bread-mayo- bacon-lettuce-tomato. Prices not bad when the sandwiches come with soup or salad. Nice quaint family run local restaurant. I would try the Alfredo next time assuming they make the sauce in house?

Both are packed with flavor. Whether ordering in or ordering to go, keep in mind it takes quite a while--almost 10 to 15 mins--for the staff to make your sandwich, so I wouldn't recommend that you stop here in you're in a hurry because you're not going to get it out fast. In this case, call ahead about 30 mins or so if you're picking up. The prices are a little high, but it's worth the price for the quality of the food you're getting, which I can't say for most restaurants in the present era (2020s for those that are reading this in the 2030s and 2040s, if this platform still exists then lol!) Either way, the quality is HIGH and the flavor factor? HIGH! The Classic Piadina is very fresh tasting and comes with greens. It only comes in one size, so it's a little small for me. Still delicious! The Nonni is a pretty large sandwich, if you're getting the full sandwich. The onions combine with the meat enhances the flavors. The building that Originale is in presents itself as a very quaint and relaxed lunch spot with bright colors and large windows. It's a place you can go to sit and talk with friends. I look forward to trying more of their sandwiches.

I went with the "Favorito," and let's just say, it instantly earned its name. The prosciutto cotto was pure-savory-bliss-melt-in-your-mouth good. And the focaccia- fresh, herby, and perfectly balanced in thickness. It hugged the fillings just right without stealing the show. Also, the tomatoes- I did not expect them to be so buttery and delicious. I may have paused mid-bite to appreciate them. Yes, I'm that person. As a die-hard cheese lover, the little bonus cube of cheese on the side felt like a tiny gift--like the sandwich was giving me a wink and saying, "Hey, I see you." Originale, I'll be back. Probably sooner than I should be.
