He was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of good tips. He wasn't just wanting me to buy something. Instead he explained what plants need at certain stage of their lives. I got what I needed and went to check out. He gave me a box of nutrients to try out. FOOP nuts starter pack, come with veg, and flower nuts. The box cost $100!! Without any hesitation he told me try this out, it's on me and it's local. I waited for a long time to write this review cause i need to put those nutrients into work or no one believe what i said. Plants are at week 4 of flowers. All of them are happy and super frosty. Come check out the shop. I highly recommended!

Avoid this place if you can. between being massively overcharged for items that you would think would be cheaper supporting your local business, are not. i've shopped this store on multiple occasions, and although the clerk/owner is nice enough, that doesn't make up for being taken at the register, or misled into buying products you do not need and are only doing so because you are a new grower on his recommendation. I went in to look at some Rum Runner Novelty Seeds he has, only to find out he was charging $85 and a simple online search of the same showed me it selling directly from the website for $35! Gardening is an expensive hobby/ way of food cultivation as it is with a healthy learning curve, and the last thing you need it to drain your wallet any faster. you can find better prices almost anywhere online even with shipping. unless you have a RIGHT NOW need, stick to online or Nova Hydro, the price is semi reflective, but the service level is unmatched.

I love finding shops like this. And it's a much-needed store. Why does it seem that now that it's…read morelegal, all the grow shops we thought would be around forever have disappeared? We're sure as shit gonna grow. And it's our mission to convince our friends to grow, as well. We're planning on presenting a group of friends a new housewarming plant - a clone from our mother, Lady Martok (a klingon name for a warrior plant that we originally thought we dead when our cat pulled her out of her pot when she was a tiny, baby). This will be our first time growing in dirt. Lady Martok (our mother) and B'elanna (the one we're gonna smoke) are growing in coco. Needless to say, we needed a little education and the dude running the shop was more than willing to give it to us. Some people are born teachers. They teach you without making you feel like an idiot. This guy is like that. And he teaches a grow class at the shop. He helped us choose the right nutrients while simultaneously helping another customer choose the right pots and talking about why he shouldn't put rocks inside the pots (the roots don't like that). We definitely found our new supplies store. Bonus, it's in the same shopping strip as Taco Love Grill (see my review of that elsewhere on my yelp page)!!
