My cuttings they helped me repot in a pot I purchased from their store!

The owners here are awesome. They have helped me pick out a gift and guided me around the store telling me what would be good for someone who isn't the biggest into plants. They also have helped me repot some of my own cuttings we're very generous with their time and info they gave me while doing it all for me! It is a great spot to buy a gift or cute plants. The coffee shop is very small and quaint and I do see people in there on their laptops, such a cute idea for the space. I'll be back for sure!

An AMAZING plant shop in DC proper! Glad I found it randomly via an Instagram post (and the coffee shop inside it!) Made a plan to go visit for coffee and do some work there, and also knew I'd buy a plant or two if I saw any that caught my eye (I did!). The staff were very kind and helpful - they let me know they were happy to answer any questions, and I heard them being incredibly helpful to others who asked them many things. Love that! I have a lottttt of plants so I didn't have any questions at the time, but I was glad to know how supportive staff were Prices: DC area... often is where we find overpriced things. I avoid many plant shops in DC proper for this reason (unfortunately!). I was therefore SUPER excited to discover their prices are very reasonable - prices that I expect cheaper plants to be, and prices I expect the more "rare" plants to be. A rooted and potted Thai Monstera with many leaves for example was $80-$90 - great price! I know the competition for these went down with Costa Farms selling them en mass now, but that still aren't "cheap" and this price was really good pricing , in my opinion, for an I think, 6 inch pot. I like local spots obviously making enough money to be able to exist, but also appreciate when the products range in price appropriately. They also had LARGE plants too: all beautiful And the plants looked well taken care of. This seems a silly thing to say, but a shop near me doesn't water its plants consistently and it shows in the leaves (or the leaves fighting to actually come out :( ). Besides plants, they sold some awesome looking books; and general plant paraphernalia that you need, plus some cute plant-based decor

Greenstreet Gardens is one of the few plant shops I physically visit for my gardening needs. Staffs are friendly and knowledgeable, and they carry some of the more common cultivars of Alocasia, Ficus, Philodendron and other Aroids. If you know, you know. As with most nurseries, the indoor tropical plants and succulents are displayed inside the vicinity. There's a small greenhouse across the main building where you can find some of the larger indoor plants. Outdoor in the back, you can find annuals and other seasonal plants. In the summer, they occasionally have succulents out in the back as well. FYI-- If you're loyal a plant parent, who tends to frequently shop for plant supplies, make a rewards card!

They have a good selection of plants, however, as a smaller garden the selection of larger plants is not vast. In fact, it seems that aside from their young trees, their focus is on smaller plants which makes sense due to the limited space. I do appreciate that they offer young trees and have a good selection of hydrangeas in the spring. They have a good selection of hydrangea trees. The customer service is generally OK. Overall a good experience and I will continue to visit.

We attempted to remove some ourselves but were quickly overwhelmed by the task. I researched native plant landscapers and came across Swamp Rose Co-op. After reaching out, Jeff, one of the owners, came to do a site visit. He was thorough in his presentation of plans and this February we had them come and do bamboo removal and plant some native trees and shrubs to act as a privacy screen. The Swamp Rose team was amazing! They pulled out over 2 tons of bamboo and roots! They planted native trees and shrubs which are thriving. Our backyard woodland meadow dreams are coming true. We have the team coming back in a few weeks to rip out the standard plants seen in the Silver Spring area (liriope, lilies, weeds) to replace with a native garden and we can't wait. One of my favorite aspects of this company is it is a co-op. The employees can be owners, and those who aren't are still paid a living wage as calculated by the MIT living wage calculator. They do excellent work! It is hard to find a native landscaper but this team is fantastic.

I am absolutely shocked with the value of flowers I recieved from the DELUXE bouquet I ordered for $82.00. The "substitution policy" is complete bullshit, given they dont even attempt to make the flowers look like what you ordered. These flowers do not look like I spent $82 on them at all- this is at most a grocery store arrangement placed in a vase. I ordered a DELUXE ARRANGEMENT and what I recieved doesnt even have SIX "replacement" roses in it, AT LEAST. It has FOUR. And zero star gypsophila (baby's breath)- which I find hard to believe they didnt have available, given that even the local supermarket has them sold by the bushel. I looked up other reviews and this seems to be a pattern, delivering subpar quality and offering little to no refunds. Im so irate & not in the mood to argue with anyone over this $13 bouquet of flowers that I was scammed into paying $82 for. I will be leaving a negative review across alll platforms and disputing this charge. Oh! They also remove all negative reviews (flowershopping.com) so you think you're actually getting quality when you're not!
