Pablo the owner has always gone out of his way to give me great service. He has educated me on how to care and nurture my plants. I highly recommended him for all your gardening supplies and plants.

Technically the address is on Rockville pike but he is inside the Montrose Crossing shopping center next to Bobs Furniture and behind Old Navy. The most direct entrance is on Montrose / Randolph @ Chapman Ave. I told Pablo what I needed and he helped me find exactly what i needed.

Visited today for the first time in 25 degree weather... mistake haha. I was super impressed with the variety of spiritual art and sculptures. Mainly Buddha. On a cold day, not crowded at all because the plants are dead, however Christmas trees are for sale! Met the owner- was super laid back and friendly. He explained the history and purpose of the garden and seemed to care a lot about the place. The prices were average for a small business garden. I can't wait to come back in the spring when the plants are healthy and the weather is better. Loved the atmosphere :)

This place is so quirky and pretty. Pablo, the owner, is a cool and chatty Chilean dude who is very knowledgeable about plants. He makes it a point to assist each client with their questions, and even carries the plants to your car. Very reasonably priced too. Definitely stop by!

Pablo and his wife have created an oasis in the middle of an urban sprawl which makes you feel calm and creates a sense of wonder and excitement with all the amazing local and imported crafts, seasonal flowers and plants and the newly added Tiki bar area for live music and entertainment. I strongly recommend you visit and say hi, as community is what Pablo's Garden thrives off of.

This place is fantastic!…read more So, I only have a 5' x 9' balcony in my condo in Bethesda on which to garden. In April, I had started some herbs, morning glories, and a San Marzano from seed. They seemed to be really liking the morning, Eastern-facing sunlight they've been provided with, since moving them outside mid-May. To this IPO of a garden, I wanted to add a "pollinator planter". I did a quick search for garden centers in the area, and American Plant popped right up. I made a note in my daily planner to visit, and I'm so glad I did. They made finding what I was looking for so easy! On display was a list of all the native pollinators, categorized by season, and how much light/shade they require. I picked up a coneflower, verbena, aster, bronze fennel, and a New Guinea impatient for good measure, + a 17" terra-cotta planter for about a hundred dollars...insane. Everything looked very healthy, the staff was pleasant/helpful, and it was definitely affordable. Gardening is okay as addictions go, right? You could go to one of those mega-stores (you know what I'm talking about), but they won't have any native species, a helpful staff, and you won't save any money. Do yourself a favor, and plan a trip to American Plant. Maybe I'll see ya there!

If you can't find it here, then it probably should not be in your garden. From the painted pots to the abundance of healthy and beautiful plants, this nursery is awesome. The staff is super helpful and will go out of their way to get you the answers or whatever else you need. Prepare to spend a lot of time looking at the best selection of healthy, well taken care of plants in DMV...imho. If you need an idea of what to do in your outdoor space, this Nursery is the answer. Staff is so helpful and great to talk with! Highly recommend this place!

We attempted to remove some ourselves but were quickly overwhelmed by the task. I researched native plant landscapers and came across Swamp Rose Co-op. After reaching out, Jeff, one of the owners, came to do a site visit. He was thorough in his presentation of plans and this February we had them come and do bamboo removal and plant some native trees and shrubs to act as a privacy screen. The Swamp Rose team was amazing! They pulled out over 2 tons of bamboo and roots! They planted native trees and shrubs which are thriving. Our backyard woodland meadow dreams are coming true. We have the team coming back in a few weeks to rip out the standard plants seen in the Silver Spring area (liriope, lilies, weeds) to replace with a native garden and we can't wait. One of my favorite aspects of this company is it is a co-op. The employees can be owners, and those who aren't are still paid a living wage as calculated by the MIT living wage calculator. They do excellent work! It is hard to find a native landscaper but this team is fantastic.

After speaking with the lady up front (I believe it was the owner Donny's wife, but not 100% sure) she talked us into using their services because she convinced us that their sod was locally grown and they had expert installers. We spend almost $1,000.00 and they came by the next week. Everything seemed to be ok after they left, but less than a month later, the sod stared to brown. MULTIPLE requests (including text messages, phone calls and visits to the store) and months later Donny finally agreed to replace the sod. NO notification that they were coming, I got a knock on my door the last day of October (7 MONTHS later) they were there to replace the sod. In the middle of the guys replacing the sod, Donny (the owner) literally pulled up in front of my house, got out and screamed in front of my entire neighborhood how he didn't think my sod actually needed to be replaced and to "never effing call him again" (Yes I have it all on video if anyone is interested). After an altercation, he trespassed me from his store. Nice way to deal with a customer that only wanted to get what he paid almost 3X what he should have from a local business.

It was last minute and thought of just stopping by at the convenient store. I googled and this cute shop popped up! Store is on Howard avenue right in front of quality tires. There's plenty of parking right in front. Upon arrival the door was locked but there was a sign that let me know to ring the doorbell. Someone answered right away and came to open the door! I wasn't sure what I was getting. The person at the front desk let me know there were some pre-made arrangements or they could make one for me ! I opted for the personalized bouquet. I chose sunflowers and variations on blush and pink colors. The price was reasonable and she let me know the arrangement would be ready in 30 minutes. I ran a couple errands and stopped by to pick them up after. They were absolutely beautiful! The overall process was easy, questions were answered and my flowers were ready relatively fast! With the app I was able to type in the item and it took me not only to the aisle, but the bay in the aisle where the item was.
