I can't say enough good things about Cultivation Brewery! My family visited while traveling in Duluth, and we fell in love with their Snow Ball Fight Sour. Honestly, it's one of the best beers I've ever had, absolutely perfect balance of tart and flavorful. The taproom is welcoming, very kid- and dog-friendly, and the staff were fantastic. We bought four bottles to take home, and two were gone before we even left! Living in Western North Carolina, it's a shame we can't get this locally, but we'll be dreaming about it until our next visit. Cultivation Brewery is a must-visit for any beer lover! read more

I visited this brewery last year for a Yoga/Beer combo session. Initially my GPS led me to a dead end and it was difficult to find, but when I reentered the address and name it led me to the right place. When I arrived, I noticed the nicely sized parking area. I quickly found a spot and headed over. The brewery has a great mix of indoor and outdoor space. I entered, laid my mat down and set up for the indoor yoga class. After we were done with the 1 hour session, we headed over to the taps for 1 complimentary pour. They don't have their own kitchen, but there was a food truck out front selling tacos. Great little brewery and taproom with a home feel to it. There is a nice outdoor seating space when you pull up with room for a food truck towards the back, fire pits, a pull up garage door entry as well as giant window with inside/outside seating. Inside there are a few tables along with a nice lounge type area with a couple couches and TV. There are also a few bar stools at the bar area. You will also see the exposed brewhouse. The beers were all pretty solid. I had heard rave reviews and was excited to try this place. They weren't anything too extraordinary but definitely above average. I really enjoy a special release imperial stout they had of the three I tried this visit which also included an amber coffee ale and saison. The beertender was a nice dude. Chatty and friendly. Cultivation Brewery has a diverse selection of beers, I tried a flight of them and enjoyed them thoroughly, with the sour being the surprise winner. It's got a nice, typical brewery vibe with some good indoor and outdoor seating. We came on a hot, Sunday afternoon and space was a little tight especially inside, but it wasn't too crazy. Service was on the slower side due to the staff to patron ratio, and we were going to the bar to get drinks, so it's not like anyone had to even come to our table. Another couple of bartenders, would have helped a lot, but to their credit the staff that was there was helpful and working hard. read more

Their recipes are good and the variety is perfect. Indoors can get a bit loud, depending on the day; there is often a food truck (check their website); outdoor seating is good. After a nice day hiking in Peach Tree corners we looked for a brewery we had never been and Cultivation brewery popped up. Nice thing was we could have a place to play with kids and our golden retriever, who was leashed, could also enjoy the company of guests / children. We ordered from the Food Truck which specialized in Asian American fusion comfort food. Ordering some egg rolls. I kept the tab open for a few beers. Our favorite was the bottled peppermint bark stout. The IPA offerings were so-so, without a distinctively floral hazy, imho. There was a live musician here. The venue was definitely cozy and enjoyed my time here tremendously. read more

What a cool stop for your next Brewery visit. Though it is a little off the main road, they have their own parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and their decorations just set the vibe for a good time. Now I have only been here once, but I do plan on going back. I met up here with a bunch of coworkers, and I don't think I could have picked a better location. They have full list of beers on tap, which is the best thing you can ask for if you're doing a flight, so many options it is hard to pick. The lady helping us out was super friendly and helped us all make our selections, whether we needed a lighter beer or wanted something dark, I think every person in the group tried the green tea seltzer because none of us had ever seen anything like that anywhere else! Inside was all I could ask for on a welcoming environment, they really put the hops into a brewery with all their decorations. Everything from beautiful wall art to super cool chandeliers that look like hand carved hops plants hanging from the ceiling. It was also super spacious both inside and outside with long tables for groups, chill sitting area (around firepits if you were outside), and high tops all around. Since my group had came from work, we didn't bring any pets with us, but it is dog friendly so we did have some friendly pups around when we were getting ready to leave. Of course if you aren't a beer person this might not be for you, but if you are open to some unique seltzers or trying local brews, then this is an amazing find! read more

Nice and calm inside. There is a nice outside area that has a ton of kid toys. The beertender was super friendly and helpful. The beer and kettle sour were delicious. I got the Key Lime kettle sour. It was perfectly balanced. Not too sweet. My husband got the Fresh Aut (pale ale) and Evil Weed ( Hazy IPA). Both were delicious but Evil Weed was the winner between the two. Area & Things to note: Very spacious brewery! We enjoyed the outdoor area that had kids running around on it- there were also toys available. I would have liked to see a spot for disinfecting wipes for toys as we live in COVID times but most people have them in their bags if they have small children so that wasn't a huge issue (just a suggestion)! There are outside heaters also and the front area looks like it would be a great time during the summer weather! Personally, I wish they had more cans to-go because their beer is delicious! There is ample parking, however, it is not paved so be warned because it is a little rocky! Beer: I had the Strawberry sour which is fantastic but the Paloma sour is AMAZING! I went with some friends and the Pina Colada Seltzer wasn't very good as far as being flavorful. The PB Stout was delicious as well according to my husband. Pricing is very fair for the beer and the atmosphere is fun! read more

Cultivation is a neighborhood brewery, hands down. If you come here often enough I'm sure you will see the same crowd, but I think they definitely have something going for them. Even though they don't have new daily foot traffic like you would probably see at the Social Fox downtown, they definitely have dedicated patrons that come here and support. I've had their flights which is only $10 and comes with 4 pours. I do have to say that the beer here is good, so far there are a few that were meh, but I would say that the majority of the beers were good! Most of the beers that I saw during the summer were refreshing, and around 6% abv. There were some that were 4%, but flavor wise I saw a lot of sours that were pretty interesting flavors but also a few ales and IPAs. I believe that they follow the seasonal brewing schedule (darker during fall/winter, etc.) Cultivation seems to have rotating food options with food trucks from around the area. The one time that we did eat there it was bbq, but I have seen pizza as well. So if you have consumed a little too much, there's always some food to help. Lastly, this place is family/pet friendly. I often see families here, as there's a little garden area for kids to run around along with toys. The owners here have two kids of their own and before opening I saw them constantly around the area playing while they were setting up the brewery. Overall this place is great, definitely stop by if you're wanting a pint and a place with plenty of outdoor seating. This definitely won't be my last time here and will probably be back as long as they're in the neighborhood. read more

Brand new Norcross Brewery, a bit off the beaten path as it's a converted building previously used for landscaping. Limited parking out front or there's plenty of overflow on side streets - the area is commercial/industrial. I attended their soft opening on 2021.02.10 arriving right at dusk. Place is pretty simple from the outside with patios for good weather (and Covid) seating - it was unseasonably warm (60's) so they had some rollup doors open. The interior is a mix of industrial and reclaimed woods with a central taproom bar and brewing tanks (look to be 5-10 barrel system) to one side. The staff was super friendly and accommodating- I started with a flight then finished out with the two other beers offered. Also got to taste a preview of a kettle sour to be offered Saturday. I got to meet these new owners - the brewery has been in planning for a while, originally as NorX (Norcross) but they thought Cultivation was a better branding opportunity - I agree. I talked to the Head Brewer, Chewy who had come from 6 Bridges up in John's Creek. I liked all the beers I tried and overall a fantastic experience. This place is less than 5 miles from my home so looking forward to their success and many returns. Gauging their initial offering I expect great things. read more

Great local neighborhood brewery. I stopped by to have a couple of beers and watch some basketball and was pleasantly surprised by the place. It had a hearty crowd, full of energy, which is always fun. The beer was good, but my favorite part of the experience (including the beers) was a really good band that was playing. They were called "The Peachtree Three" and I was blown away with their talent. They sang so beautifully and they sang so many great songs that sounded amazing! I love the brewery scene, it's a "thing" for me, so when I have a nice experience like I did at Cultivation, it definitely makes me want to go back. Highly recommend this brewery. read more

This is the cutest, family friendly, intimate little brewery. I am not a beer drinker but I tried the watermelon gose and I was pleasantly surprised. It taste like a carbonated punch not too sweet not too tart. The staff was warm and friendly and they bent over backwards trying to find something that I would like. The facility is wide open and there is plenty of time to social distance. We sat outside on comfortable picnic benches. My favorite part of this space is the fenced in patio for private parties and the food truck rotation. Love it! read more

We had a great evening here and their beer was very good! Service was spot on, bartenders friendly and had an awesome chat with the owner. Definitely on our go to list when in the area and highly recommend if you like craft beer. The place is classy yet warm and cozy, family and dog friendly with both indoor and outdoor seating. We tend to lean more towards IPAs for the most part but the Cafe Roaster and French Toast were excellent. The Harvest Moon which is their Oktoberfest option was very good too. If you like seltzer, the prickly pear was so good. There wasn't a beer we didn't like and we had them all! Food truck was the Breaded Pig. Pretty tasty as well. Cultivation brewery exceeded our expectations. My husband and I are huge craft beer drinkers. The peanut butter roaster stout was awesome! We even think it is better then our favorite go to peanut butter stout stranger danger from Monday night. We also had the sticky toffee pudding which did not disappoint. The brewery had a great vibe to it. We are excited to see what they continue to brew. We would love to see a Oreo stout! We will definitely make the 45 minute drive to return to Cultivation and will highly recommend it to all our other craft beer friends. read more
