You can find the Chamblee Tap and Market at 3509 Broad St, Chamblee, GA 30341 - this is a building to the left of the old Rust and Dust antique store (which is now full or restaurants and retail), so across from the Chamblee City Hall lawn. There's parking in a lot to the left of the building, otherwise it's fairly easy to find free parking nearby. This food hall is anchored by a craft beer bar to the back - from what I've seen it has a fairly interesting and diverse menu. The beertenders seem to be very knowledgeable and can make recommendations based on your tastes - make sure to ask questions and give feedback. No real food offerings as of yet - there are currently I think 4 food stalls with the first occupied by an independent coffee shop - check that out too. The rest as of today (2024.12.08) are unoccupied but one of the owners (David) indicated there have been commitments by a couple of vendors, awaiting build out. In all, a great concept with friendly staff, adding a new dimension to Chamblee and a welcome addition.

I'm not even a big beer drinker but I love this spot! Staff is awesome, beer selections are always changing and delicious, and they keep the place tidy and clean! Only place I've seen where the staff actually cleans the outdoor seating! They have poker nights, trivia nights, sports nights, etc to keep the mass happy! Definitely worth checking out and super welcoming for all! They also have food stalls available every night to keep your hunger satisfied with your ice cold beer!

This is the place to be in Downtown Chamblee! Awesome selection of craft beers, food trucks and restaurant pop ups, indoor and outdoor seating, and the owners and staff are as friendly as they come. This is turning into our new gathering place.

But nothing at all other than the beer list makes it feel 'brewery', it's very much an upscale interior, fanstic layout of sushi bar, regular bar, open air dining and outdoor patio. The food - wow. very unique flavor profiles, hearty, lots of great options between samplers, sushi, and main courses. Pro Tip - if you feel overwhelemed about the menu, most of the staff that i meet here know it very well and have worked here for a very long time, so feel free to ask, we were suprised by such a good selection of options by our bartender.

I was able to get a table right away. It was well lighted and there was some soft background music, plus TVs over the bar showing sports. I ordered a beer and the Katsu Curry. The beer was very good, a nice fizzy crisp beer. The curry was a large bowl with rice and shredded cabbage at the bottom and some curried vegetables alongside the panko crusted chicken breast sliced beautifully on top. Everything tasted great. On a slightly warmer day it would be lovely to sit outside on the patio.

Drinks were great and the food was even better. My daughter finished her cheeseburger before I was even halfway through my meal. I had the steak frites and OMG. I ate every single bite. My son loved his chicken sandwich and my wife also loved the steak salad. All around it was 100% delicious. Not a morsel of food left on anyone's plate. I don't know WHAT is happening in the kitchen back there, but they definitely kicked things up a notch because everything I had was FANTASTIC during my last 2 visits. The beignets are probably the best item on the menu, but to be honest, I don't have one complaint about the wings (I got Honey Hot and they were well-flavored and saucy, just like I like them), and their cheese pizza has always been great. Also had the cinnamon pretzels and they came hot and so good, especially with the side of cream cheese dip. The rooftop is always cute for a hang-out (and, contrary to the downstairs area, remains for those 21 and up). I can't think of a time where The Harvey is suggested, and I don't want to go so I hope they keep doing what they're doing, because it's one of my favorite spots to hang out in Chamblee.

The rest goes downhill from there. It's a mix as to the staff, some are fantastic and fun to talk to while others seem unintrested in service, and I feel like the reason I'd come here is to be on the rooftop, but that's where things go sideways. Seems alot of everything needs to be brought from downstairs, the bar upstairs is sorta 'makeshift' and the staff usually leave it unattended for long periods of time. The menu is uninspiring, unless you like chicken tenders and inconsistant pizza - the rest of the menu is fairly lacking and delivery over the few times I have been here has been inconsistant.

This trip was actually our first time visiting without him so we were a little lost about what to do next. LOL. We had gone to a cafe earlier in the day but it was still too early for dinner so we kept searching for something interesting to do. That's when my husband found Distillery of Modern Art. I wasn't really in the mood for drinking during the day so I wasn't sure at first but I'm so glad we went! We had never heard of a combination of a distillery and an art gallery before which immediately caught our attention. It looked like the space is used for a variety of events as well. Since we visited during Mother's Day weekend, there was a flower arrangement workshop happening in one of the rooms when we arrived. The bar area was very spacious with plenty of seating and since it was our first visit, we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different liquors they produce. My husband sampled their rye whiskey, gin, and Amaro Peach. I'm usually not much of a gin fan but theirs was exceptionally smooth and I actually enjoyed it. Amaro tends to be quite bitter but their Amaro Peach had a really nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. I ordered the Ocean Eyes cocktail which features their Amaro Peach and it was excellent. The bartender also made his own special version of a classic cocktail for my husband (I forgot the name!) and he really enjoyed it. What stood out most was how friendly and passionate the bartender was. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and honestly, he made the experience even more enjoyable for us. We had such a great visit that my husband ended up bringing home bottles of their gin and Amaro Peach. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Atlanta!

The other 2 drinks we had were ordered off menu after we explained to the bartender some of taste preferences. The Singapore sling was excellent as well as the other one he made. You can tell that they really care about their craft and are wanting to experiment with different flavors! It was nice being able to sit at the bar and chat as well

The whole area actually looked like it had gotten a refresh since the last time I'd been around. There's a massive shared parking lot, and finding a spot was no problem. Once we parked, we followed the signs, walked through a courtyard, and found the entrance. Inside, a sign pointed us to the left, where we walked up to the counter and were greeted with a warm welcome. We grabbed a menu and quickly reviewed it. They don't offer flights, so we each ordered a couple of half pours. I went with a hazy and an IPA, while Wifey chose a watermelon pilsner and a lager. We placed our food order at the same counter--Wifey went with lemon pepper wings and mac and cheese. I ordered six spicy wings and a side of coleslaw. They provided an order number stand, we grabbed our beers and headed outside to a high-top table made from a barrel. The food came out surprisingly fast--they brought our trays right to the table. Everything looked great, and once we started digging in, the flavors backed it up. My wings had just the right amount of heat, and the coleslaw was a solid pairing. Wifey really enjoyed her wings too, though she said the mac and cheese could've used a little more flavor. Before leaving, we grabbed a couple more half pours. Wifey liked the watermelon pilsner so much, we ended up taking home a six-pack. It's pretty much a self-serve setup once your food arrives--you bus your own table, grab your own wet wipes and water, that kind of thing. It's a casual setup, so no big deal there. Out in the courtyard patio area, families and kids were everywhere--enjoying the "green" space, playing games and hanging out. I definitely noticed a diverse crowd--younger, older, from all backgrounds--everyone just enjoying the day. It truly felt like a space where all are welcome. Overall, it was a great first experience at this Fox Bros./Wild Heaven combo. We'll definitely be back. 4.5 Rating Instagram: @whatsthenextmemory
