I only wanted someone to design a landscape and I would do all of the planting. I was willing to pay whatever for the design but wanted to do the work myself. I was told October was the earliest anyone could come out to even look at the property, so they referred me to Eric someone that worked for them in the past. Eric showed up was and was rude, unprofessional, and just kinda off. Said that what we would need would only take an hour or two and said he would be back to take measurements. We waited a week for the day Eric was suppose to reappear and he never showed up. We were willing to pay him $80/hr to design something for us. Anything! The doctor's where I work don't make that much money. 2 weeks, empty yard, and no design. So is it really Garden Concepts fault. Not really but please don't refer anyone else to "Eric". I now have an empty yard and I am running around trying to find someone who can make it out here before winter. Update: the owner contacted me and gave me the information on how to contact "Eric" so I really can't fault them on this one

Supply chain issues have left few choices among Bountiful Acres' competition, but they seem to have figured it out and kept the lines of communication and supply open with their vendors. Andy helped us on our recent visit. He's been their 20+ years and was so friendly and helpful. He also offered some great, insightful advice on some landscaping materials we asked about for privacy screening. Definitely worth the trip.

The level of customer service was unmatched. He gave us an extremely fair estimate to replace the window well and regrade the area around it to stop the leak into the window. That was on a Thursday, and he did the work on Tuesday. He was like a ninja, we never even saw him! One of the best customer service experiences that we've had lately. 10 out of 10 quality service and we will definitely use them for anything future within the world of landscaping. We highly recommend Jon Kontz of Plant Design. Five stars out of five. We had major work…read moreperformed on our pool area and deck and Jon was absolutely great from beginning to end. His recommendations for all aspects of the work were top notch and he was deliberate, patient and easy to talk to before, during and after our project completion. We were looking to re do our pool area and decking because the concrete deck around the pool was showing age, cracking and sagging in spots and the wood deck I had built around the pool concrete over 25 years ago was moving a bit. We had three different contractors provide specs and estimates. Two were stone guys who would replace the existing concrete and wood decking with stone. One of these contractors had done work for us before. I contacted Jon who explained the difference between doing the work with composite decking and stone. We also learned from a survey I commissioned that we would have issues with permeability if we went with stone. Ultimately Jon recommended we go with the Timbertek product for the decking which would replace all the existing concrete and wood. One of the reasons we chose Jon was that he served as our GC/construction manager for the work. We had numerous trades on the job including carpenters, electricians, pool people, demo teams, landscapers, stone masons, to name a few, and I did not want to be responsible for managing all of them plus overseeing the critical path. Jon served in that role wonderfully. Another really great thing that Jon did was recommend that we do the work in Fall '15. We originally wanted to have the work done in Spring '16 as our daughter was getting married Nov '15 and we, and my wife in particular, were a bit manic about having the work going on during the same time as the wedding preparations. We are both so happy that we had the work performed in the Fall '15. As I write this we are now enjoying our beautiful backyard. This was a major project and big $investment for us. I can relate one other specific instance of why Jon was the right guy for us. Early in the project, during the demolition and removal of the pool concrete my wife Nancy was freaking out. I called Jon who came over immediately and explained to us both that this is always how it is at the beginning of these type of jobs and that this was the worst part and all would be well. We were both relaxed because of Jon. Lastly, it has been ~7 months since completion of the work and there are a few minor items that are still being worked out. Jon has been great in communicating and sending his guys over to deal with these few, minor matters. Again, we highly recommend Jon Kontz, Plant Design, for any home project, large or small.
