Some of the better wings that I have had in the Austin area. You can't beat the $1 wing day on Monday. They run some awesome happy hour promotions, as well. The lemon pepper wings are cooked to a perfect crisp, making you want another bite every time. The pizza is just okay. They cook time could be longer because the crust is consistently fairly soggy. The flavors are good but that is the only negative aspect when it comes to the food. The atmosphere is decent. For a rock bar you would think it would have loud music and a punk type of vibe but it seemed pretty corporate. The outside patio is the best place to be. Overall it's a really good place to go. We decided to check this place out on Valentine's Day as we hadn't visited it yet, and wanted a low-key casual experience. It's smaller on the inside than I expected, with a few tables, and several bar stools. There are several classic pinball machines (bring your quarters.) The food is a DIY situation for ordering. You can get the drinks at the bar. The pizzas are 10" personal size and range from $11-$15. They were crispy, hot and flavorful. I did add red pepper flakes to Popeye pizza. My wife ordered the Purple Rain ( a frozen tequila based beverage) and got a Non-alcoholic Dos Equis. I appreciated the number of non-alcoholic choices. They were reasonably priced as well. Just the right kind of food: the first time I went, ordered some tater tots to snack on. We've all had mushy, or not so crispy tots - the ones here were the best I've had. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and a satisfying crunch in every bite. The second time I went EVERYTHING that was coming put of the kitchen and being delivered to the group next to me smelled amazing Just the right drinks. Let's face it. It's freaking hot in Texas and while they have all their standards, they also have signature drinks to help on those hot days: Refugee - a watermelon spiked lemonade Ride or Die - a ranch water made with Liquid Death Bloody Mary - refreshing and spicy at the same time. Went for the first time on a Saturday afternoon for the crawfish boil. The staff was friendly, music was good, nice atmosphere and I LOVED the swing bar seats. It was super fun to swing at the bar. Enjoyed sitting outside in the sun having a michelada and crawfish. My friend got the wings which were pretty good too. Reviewing after 2 visits. We checked this new place in our neighborhood and the ambiance is great. Dog friendly so we will have to come back with our fur babies. They were having a happy hour so we tried the drinks which were $2 off ($12 frozen were $10 and the wings are $1 each. The wings were great! The drinks were a little pricey for the size so lost a star for that. The service was great! The bartenders were having fun, great music, & plenty of parking. All tables had shade options and they play the nfl games on the bar speakers. Pizza was SO good with a great cheese pull! They are small though.... Really want to like this place but 2 pints and 1/2 dozen (supposedly) happy hour $1/wings and $5 basket of fries came out to $35+tip, which means the beers were $12/pint of beer. I liked Culture Club, and thought it was a cool concept but just not my vibe! This is the type of place for loud, rowdy south austinites and that's not me. I can't give 4 stars because i can't really dock a place for attracting loud, inconsiderate people - idk what it is about South Austin but that's an aside. Interior had cool lighting and motorcycle themed decor and fun swings to sit on at the bar. There were coin-operated games which will be fun to play next time. Outdoor area had more seating and cornhole. I had a hot cider which tasted delicious despite the separation in the pic. I had boneless Nashville and my husband had the Mango Habanero wings and we shared an order of fried pickles. Even in kid-friendly spaces, there's an unwritten social contract at play. Yes, some bars and breweries welcome families until a certain hour. That doesn't mean they become playgrounds. These are still adult-centered spaces where people gather to relax, connect, and unwind. When children are running full speed between tables, screaming across rooms, or interrupting other guests, it shifts the atmosphere for everyone. Parenting in public requires self-awareness. If your child is old enough to be in a shared space, they're old enough to understand basic expectations: stay near the table, use indoor voices, respect servers and other guests, and respond when called. If they can't do that yet, it may not be the right environment for them. Courtesy isn't about perfection. Kids will be kids. But supervision matters. Attention matters. Teaching children how to exist respectfully in adult spaces is part of raising them. A place being "kid-friendly" is not the same as being child-centered.
