This has been our go to Culver's for a couple years now but the last 2 times we have been here things have definitely changed for the worst. It's always dirty now, tables are never clean. The floor is always full of crumbs and stepped on French fries. Kinda gross. The service is slow slow slow slow. It's fast food right? The last two times we've been here it's taken 20 minutes to get our food. This time people that sat down after us got their food first. Ok? Also the quality has gone down too. Sloppily prepared and the buns are so dry they are flaking off. We love Culver's but will not be returning to this location . Yall go to the Alex location, it's so much nicer and clean and how Culver's is supposed to be. Not sure what happened to this location but the owners probably just don't care anymore. read more

The service and staff was out of this world wonderful, they were polite, kind, warm hearted and went out of their way to make sure that I got what I wanted. The ambiance of the store was clean, beyond what one would ask for a sterile environment. Moving on to the food, the onion rings were incredible and sweet, almost like they were candy coated but nothing displeasing. I loved every bite and the portion was very reasonable. The cheese burger was yet another consideration, however. The burger was barely heated, and the slice of cheese was not even close to melted, it was just removed from the plastic wrapping and put on the burger and an almost white tomato added for effect. lol I mentioned to the kind lady that had checked me in that I did NOT want to complain but that the cheese was not melted and she said that she would make certain that the mgmt would be told and that they would shake up the cooks to correct that mistake! I said please don't get anyone in trouble over it, just let the boss know, ok? and she said she surely would. and she was so polite and kind that I am positive that she did. read more

While I was ordering my grandma couldn't understand the person taking are order and the bacon on my burger was black and I didn't get a piece of cheese in the top patty and I also ordered a concrete mixer with cheesecake and didn't get it usually this is a nice place to eat and they don't make mistakes it's just the one time they did it kinda sucked yk read more

I have been to MANY Culver's and like the food... but this location is awful! Everything around the entire restaurant is dirty - bathrooms, entrance, floors, beverage and condiment bar... very nasty looking. Makes me wonder what the kitchen is like..? read more

They get 4 stars for their customer service, got there 5 minutes to close and they still served us. Got soup instead of ice cream though.

The staff at the Baxter Culver's need to ask for instructions from their own customers, because my experience this last time was awful. We ordered 2 items, both concrete mixers, one was ordered and given correctly; while my favorite, the 'Crazy for Cookie Dough' (one of the regular Culver's specialty mixers) is apparently impossible for anyone at the Baxter location to get right. When ordering I specifically told the server that I wanted the specialty mixer, and when I watched them sub in the ingredients individually on the menu, I knew they were going to get it wrong. Any time the server tries to take the order this way, they always miss one or two ingredients. So I specially asked the server to put in the Crazy for Cookie Dough mixer instead of doing the toppings separately. The server assured me that she knew what was in the specialty mixer. After waiting for my Crazy for Cookie Dough mixer for some time, a different server delivered to me what he could only refer to as "here's your caramel whatever'. At this point, I knew I should have continued to hold up the people behind me and complain, but I didn't think that Culver's could have possibly screwed up my order again (every time I've been to Culver's, and my wife and I only come for the mixers, so we only order TWO items, they always screw up one of the two mixers). Needless to say, what I got was a caramel mixer and 2 small squares of snickers. No cookie dough, no chocolate pieces; just two hard to find small snickers. Every employee at the Baxter Culver's should be fired or retrained because if you can't even give out a 2 item order correctly, you must be giving out incorrect orders on a constant basis. My wife and I like the custard, but it's not worth $5-$10 when I could literally walk into the Culver's and make the mixers better than any of their crappy employees. read more

Been here several times including some call-ahead orders. Staff has always been super friendly and the food is (for fast food) great.

The staff seemed to have no idea what to do without specific direction. They only had one cashier working a continuous line of customers while having multiple food runners standing around. I had to ask multiple times for our order of large fries even after people that placed their order after us received their meals. read more

Ridiculous! Ordered a salad with grilled chicken, 2 cheese curds, 2 bacon cheese burgers & 2 concrete mixers. It took 32 minutes to fill the order & they shorted us a cheese curd. . Another customer asked for her money back and they told her "No, they couldn't do that." read more

I must preface this review by stating that I love Culvers and do not live near one so I stop at various Culvers often whenever I see them. Sadly this dining experience was very lacking. I ordered the special of the day which was a chili burger. It came out as a normal burger with just onions so I went to ask if that's what it was supposed to be. The lady seemed annoyed, like I was the one who had made the mistake then took the burger over to the pot of chili they had, slopped some on and gave it back. Then we had ordered a grilled cheese for my son who was 12 month old. I just wanted the grilled cheese and that's all that came... good right... splitting it open to feed him it was slathered in mayo and had a tomato on it... YUCK! Apparently this is the "deluxe" grill cheese. Clearly not what we had ordered for a 12 month old. They then offered to make us another one, which we declined because it would have taken too long. Then I inquired as to the price difference between what we had ordered and the "deluxe" grilled cheese that we received. It was over $1 and they absolutely refused to refund the difference or otherwise make things right. In addition, when we got there the root beer was in the machine was out so I told someone at the desk. We were there 25 minutes and no one went to take care of it despite them having 4 customers and plenty of time to congregate behind the counter and talk. I did send a comment to Culvers about this experience via their webpage and received no response. I go to Costco in Brainerd/Baxter at least twice a month and sadly will not be dining at this Culvers again. Very disappointed in this experience and the absolute lack of any apology, response, or attempt to make things right. read more

It's a Culver's so it's clean and the drive up is a little slow because all the sandwiches are made to order. We ordered 2 shakes and a two-scoop Turtle (flavor of the day), but we got 2 shakes and a Turtle sundae. Cost more, wrong thing. I really (really) like the Turtle custard! Again, Culver's comes through - they get me my Turtle (some of the best ever Turtle custard - 5 of 5 stars) and a coupon for my troubles. Ordered a bacon deluxe burger. Got back to my hotel tonight to have dinner after a long day of work out of town. Bite into the sandwich and theres no burger pattie. Seriously disappointed. I discovered Culver's while on a road trip from Southern California to a family reunion in Minnesota. I was surprised and impressed, the burgers are pretty good and the frozen custard is badass. They also have friend cheese curds, and cheese curds were one of my favorite Midwestern discoveries. I wish we could get some Culver's locations, or at least some frozen custard, out here in Cali. read more

Oh boy talk about a salty burger. I couldn't make it through the entire burger. The outer edges I swear was rolled in salt and some how one outer corner was pink. My sons chicken tenders had a fishy smell and taste. Thinking they need to change the fry oil. Not the best Culvers experience. read more

The service may take a while but that's because they're actually making your food. Customer service is amazing and above and beyond any other fast food joint in the area. My husband and I ordered 2 butterburger baskets. Mine was deluxe and my husband's was deluxe without tomato. We waited and waited over 10 minutes. Our meal came and we had 2 cheese burger baskets both without tomato. We told a staff member and he didn't do anything. Horrible experience just this evening. Waited at least 20 minutes, no exaggeration, for our take out food which was only three Butter Burgers. Then they were all overcooked and dried out and my wife only got a little over half a burger of meat portion. If we weren't on the road, we would have asked them for a refund. We've been to this location numerous times with reasonable service and food quality, but never had this kind of comprehensively negative experience. Culvers is known for their burgers, but where has the meat gone? The burger patty has gotten as thin as McDonald's and it's a huge cut back in a burger store. Ordered a chicken sandwich basket from the drive-thru. The meal was comprised or a chicken sandwich, french fries and a beverage. The beverage was 2/3 full when I received it. The chicken sandwich was missing its top bun. I received a full order of french fries which I found confusing as it was inconsistent with the giving me 2/3 of what I ordered theme. This was abysmal, but still preferable to my worst experience of receiving a chicken sandwich from Culver's that was completely raw in the middle. read more

Drive through Friday night about 8:00 pm. Place not busy at all. After getting food and driving home 10 minutes away discovered they forgot to put a hamburger patty on the hamburger I paid for. What moron cannot get that right? Did they stand around after we drove off wondering why there was an extra patty on the grill??? Called back and all they were willing to provide was a coupon for another burger. This place is great! I went to the Culver's in Baxter. The line was long but the service was friendly. I talked to the owner and was surprised by how good the service was for fast food. The burgers, fries, onion rings, and custard were all great. And their Culvers brand root beer is awesome. One of the best burgers I have ever had.
