I watched as a dude walked around the parking lot but he came back into the restaurant & they helped him jumpstart his car in the lot! outstanding fish sandwich. they hand bread and fry it to a light crisp brown. the bread is fresh and soft and NOT salty. Their coleslaw is the right balance of creamy dressing mg, a soft bite and crispy veggies. the crinkle fries are crisp. We tried the pumpkin pecan custard. it was outstanding! creamy, rich and not too sweet. We also tried their homemade root beer. it was quite tasty but needs a little more creamy taste, maybe adjust your carbonation. Next time we are in WI we WILL be back!!! read more

It's been a while since I went to a Culver's. This place was a great location, parking was surprisingly a bit of a hassle with the drive thru really packed . The restrooms were clean like the rest of the building. Staff here was friendly, the food here was actually really good and made with in reasonable time. Inexcusable. We arrived at 1:50 in the afternoon and were quickly through the ordering line. There were several large crowds seated but we found a booth against the window and waited. And waited. And waited. By the time I was already growing impatient I watched over a dozen take-out customers come and go and countless cars through the drive-in. Finally I lost my patience and went to the counter. First I was told that my meal was still on the list. When I pointed out how long it had been suddenly my food appeared. This was at 2:25. Over half an hour for burgers and fries. I understand prioritizing drive-through traffic (and even carry-out) to a point but not like this. This was unacceptable. There were other groups in our area complaining as well. Not only will I never come to this store again, I will seriously consider avoiding all Culver's going forward. read more

Not the best Culver's I've been to. Chicken sandwich was as bland as could be. Child's burger was over cooked. We ordered chocolate milk for our kid and it didn't come. I went to ask where it was and they told us they didn't have any left. They seemed mystified that they might have told me that previously that 1. They didn't have chocolate milk 2. Did I want something else instead? Before I had to ask them why my order wasn't complete. Sigh. read more

Culver's is normally one of our favorite places to eat. Had a summer place in Sauk City and loved them before anyone knew about them. Very disappointed today when we went to the drive-thru. Not one employee was wearing a mask...why would you risk the health of your customers and your employees? The masks only work if an asymptotic, but positive COVID19 person is wearing one. For a corporation that employees many teenagers and older adults I would think you would feel some responsibility for their safety, especially with the location being off 94 and lots of chicagoans coming through, a hot spot for COVID. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at a Culver's Went through the drive through at 6:45 pm on a weeknight. Ordered a burger basket and cone. Cone was stale. It took OVER 12 MINUTES for my food to be ready!!! IN THE DRIVE THROUGH!! And they STILL got the order wrong! read more

I stopped at this Culver's tonight at 8:10pm. They didn't have many customers as there were many empty tables. I waited at the counter for about 5 minutes but left without ordering due to not being waited on. Only one wait staff member at counter and in all fairness she was tied up with two women who didn't really know what they wanted and were doubt about anything the counter person said. I travel this route on I-94 nearly every weekend from April to November but will never stop at the Black River Falls Culver's again. If there was a manager in the house he/she wasn't managing. Would it be too much to suggest staffing the counter on a Friday night in the heart of vacation on a busy interstate route? read more

Went through drive though and got back on the road. When I finally could eat my burger I opened the box and it was sitting in a puddle of grease. I picked up the burger, lined the box with a napkin...which was soon saturated...and tried to eat the burger. There was so much grease, it was running down my arm. My boys and I went to Culvers today for supper for my sons birthday. We arrived at 6:00, just minutes after a bus load of kids. We were quickly through the line and waited the usual time for our food. Very pleased with the service. Despite the very full restaurant the staff remained very pleasant and kept the restaurant clean. A+ to all!!!!! read more

Excellent Food, Professional Service, Very clean. Staff always walking around dining area and inquiring if patrons need anything. I have never been disappointed in their service. Can get very busy at times with groups of patrons, Usually sports teams or CHURCH groups. My grandkids have received several Free ice cream vouchers thru their community service network.
