What happened today? World's Largest Culver's designed to handle large crowds? Bring in the bus load - we are the largest! We can handle the crowds, or can we? Ten minute line then it was 30 minutes to get a single fish sandwich and regular fry. Eat the food and it was almost an hour to eat FAST FOOD? Yum! I always have a solid experience at a Culver's and this giant one is my new favorite! I dined in, as I wanted to see how big this dining room actually is, and indeed it is sizable! When you see a sign saying you're about to pass the world's biggest Culver's as you drive through Wisconsin....obviously.....you pull over and get food here. Can confirm the inside is way larger than other Culver's locations I've been to. I wish they had something super special you could get to show you've been there or a fun food option, like a Wisconsin shaped burger. Now that would be epic. I settled for a side of cheese curds though and a kid's meal, and my butter burger was absolutely perfect. It's a fun spot to roll into if you're road tripping and hungry. read more

This restaurant is a favorite with fast service and food. As a former business owner I was concerned watching a cashier wear shoes that were not properly worn on his feet. They were laced up and he just jammed his feet into the shoes with his heels sticking out and was teetering as he walked. What a safety issue. Kaiyden, awesome name, and super service! My wife ordered the kids meal with the two chicken tenders, the applesauce, and kids fries. It was good and just the right size for her, lol! I ordered the sourdough meal with fries and a sweet tea which all of it was delicious and well made! M I wanna get more y wife ordered the kids flavor of the day custard, and was offered it after sitting down and then realized it would be better to have it after the meal is over and so after haven't taken it out of the freezer once Kaiyden was willing to put it back there until she was done. Update at the end of her meal: another server took her Sunday and gave it to another customer and took advantage of it being already done instead of making it themselves! We were told that she already came up to the counter and asked for it and got it and that doesn't make sense. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Ordered through the drive thru , which was quick and easy. In the past they would give you your ice cream dish at the window and they would bring you your food out a few minutes later. The last few times ordering they just have you pull up and bring your food and your ice cream dish out at the same time. The problem is the ice cream sits and melts, when you get it, it's half melted and that stinks. Definitely next time going to ask for my ice cream at the window. read more

Stopped by off the interstate to grab lunch. Order the cod, sandwich, fries, and a Coke. The sandwich was excellent. Very nice battered cod with lettuce, shredded cheddar, and a hot bun. I was driving through I 90, when I noticed the bill board that biggest Culvers is here. So decided to take a rest stop. The place was sure bigger than the other Culvers I have been to. I went with my favorite sandwich, spicy chicken. It was good as always. Chilli cheese fries was an excellent side. We've passed these places a lot so decided to drop in on their largest unit in Edgerton? The service is amazingly fast. Step up to the counter place your order and get your number, find a seat and wait. Staff are really friendly. Unfortunately they don't pay attention. I ordered a burger no cheese. After asking me specifically twice. I said no both times. My wife ordered burger with cheese and grilled onions. My burger had cheese, Hers didn't have the grilled onions. How do you mess up two simple orders? I looked at the ticket and staff had written both as with cheese. Talk about not listening to your customer. Wife's order was with onions. So the order was right but they didn't check the order when they delivered and we had to send it back to get the onions. The food is decent. Smashburgers with a nice crust. The chain has been around a long time. Not sure how when they can't get the orders right. read more

After a 16 minute wait we got cold burgers. Half our order was wrong and when we asked them to help us correct it they said it was our fault, for not saying it correctly. we said it correctly, it was not rung in right according to the receipt. We were handed some packets of sauce and eye rolled the right shake across the counter. We wish we would have kept driving to a smaller Culver's for better service. read more

Just left after paying and then waiting 20 minutes for our food. Food was warm, which is unusual for Culver's. Usually we get hot food and hot fries. I think the problem is that the delivery guy is waiting for three other orders to bring out which caused our food to get cold. Place was filthy. Every single table had food smears and the floor was covered with French fries that had been stepped on. Considering it was a Friday at 230 pm and they were not terribly busy, the place should have been cleaner. Order was screwed up and the general manager rolled her eyes when I asked her to please fix it. Used the restroom and was even more disgusting, out of paper towels, dangerous wet slippery floor and used toilet paper paper inside the stall. I will attach a picture. Told the general manager the bathroom was out of paper towels and she said "ok" but I waited for 15 minutes and she never went so left with dripping wet hands. Just go to the Janesville Culver's instead. Or any other Culver's. So much for the world's largest Culver's. Should be the world's messiest Culver's!!! With the world's rudest general manager! Don't know why she has a job there! Been going to Culver's forever and never had I encountered bad customer service at any of them. Reputedly, this is the largest Culver's in the world. If you are not familiar with the Culver's chain - it is a fast food restaurant known for their frozen custard. While not typically as fast food fan, Culver's is among the best I've had. I don't know how many locations they have, and I think all are in the midwest and upper midwest. As far as meals go, they have a pretty wide selection. They are also known for what they call "Butter Burgers." Quickly explaining, it is a smashed griddled burger served with the toppings of your choice, on a buttered bun. (Those of you who read my reviews know I cannot tolerate Gluten or Dairy.) This is my go-to when I eat at a Culver's. I get the Butter Burger with no cheese and a gluten-free bun (which is sealed and not buttered). My only complaints about the gluten-free buns are (1) they are microwaved in the plastic, which is always concerning) so it comes to you steamed, and (2) they break apart very easily. Ailsuggestion to those who try it - use a fork and a knife. They have great Root Beer on tap. I like the one with sugar, and they do offer a sugar free version. Refills on drinks are unlimited. Culver's is amazingly consistent from one location to another. Their stores are typically very clean, the people at the counter are polite and helpful, and the food is consistent. When I have limited options, or I do want something fast, we go to Culver's. Look - it isn't Morton's Steak House or Wildfire, but it is very good for fast food. read more

This is a solid location that serves tasty food from a friendly staff at a reasonable price. It's clean, inviting, has a family atmosphere, and makes sure all patrons are happy when leaving. There is something special about this location though... it's "The World's Largest Culver's!" Overall, Culver's is the often overlooked fast food place that I, for some reason, normally do not consider as an option for a meal. But after this recent visit I'm again reminded how much I enjoy their offering. They have very tasty burgers that are of decent size (though I'd recommend at least a double if you have a slightly larger than normal appetite) paired with near-perfectly cooked fries and a menu that will hold it's own against all the other big players. They also have CRISPY chicken sandwiches, my favorite being the spicy one - it's very tasty! I must also mention that they have, what I think to be, the BEST honey mustard. At this location you get all the best Culver's has to offer: hot and fresh food served quickly and directly to your table from a friendly staff at a reasonable price. It's billed as the world's largest and, don't get me wrong, it's big. But it's not insanely big. And they are not too big for their britches, they still do everything right and with a smile! Stop in if you want a solid meal that isn't from the normal big players. What can I say. I love a Culver's butterburger. The carmelized butter makes it. Usually with lettuce, tomato, American, and bacon. Double if I am starved. Some of the best french fries. And the custard is hard to resist, even for lactose intolerant. Other things like pot roast sandwich and pork tenderloin are also great. This is the largest Culver's location in the world. Which makes it a Culver's but bigger. Which means you will find a seat with no problem. It was clean, and they were wiping tables as soon as you got up. Restrooms were clean. Order was correct and well made. And my picky eater learned he likes to dip fries in chocolate custard! Win?! read more

While passing through Wisconsin we stopped to eat at the World's Largest Culver's. Has been on my Midwestern bucket list for a hot minute and it did not disappoint! Culver's in Newville is the largest of the beloved fast-food restaurant group and features a conference room available to rent for private events. We arrived and we're serviced right away. There was a little trouble with ordering just two pieces of cod but the head team member was able to straighten that out fast. The did have someone on the floor washing down table tops but the floor was definitely overlooked as well as the ladies restroom. Would have liked to have seen the world's largest get a spring cleaning and maintenance up keep. I did witness a team member helping a lady to her car holding her pup cups and food order. That melted my heart as well as the stuffed animals on display. Turtles are my favorite. I enjoyed a scoop of mint chocolate chip (flavor of the day) as well as my meal and was back in my way! read more

Absolutely delish. This was my first time at a culvers, and we had a pretty annoyingly long concrete mixer order since we were gearing up for a long drive. They got everything perfect, were sweet, and super fast. They were out of a few things, but I was still able to get the general vibe of the concrete I wanted, so can't complain. read more

I am guessing I have reviewed at least one other Culver's location but thought since they claim this is the World's Biggest I should give my two cents on it. Yes it does seem bigger than the usual Culver's but not tremendously bigger (they do have a separate party room). We showed up at dinner time on a Saturday as we were passing through the area. We walked in to see a very long line of people. "Oh no - how long is this going to take?" Much to our surprise in these days of worker shortages the line moved super fast. The service was not only fast but friendly. I think their burgers are just OK so we like to order their fish sandwiches since they are very good for fast food. And they were again. We also had a coupon for a free concrete mixer which is actually my favorite Culver's item - it was great. Not sure it is worth going out of the way to see the World's Largest Culver's but if you need a decent fast food meal I'd stop again. read more

Went to Culver's in Stoughton for my birthday on August 6th 2024. Took a friend because I had a buy one get one free deluxe burger coupon. Ordered the burger, onion rings & fries. Gave coupon to counter girl but she never used it. Didn't realize until that night, that I paid for 2 burgers after looking at receipt. So I decided to go back to Culver's on August 7th 2024 to rectify mistake and make it known to manager that counter staff are making mistakes re: coupons. The manager told me I needed to call or come back the same day in order to be reconciled. I really don't feel this was handled properly.......I didn't make mistake, THEY did. Monday after Christmas at the "worlds largest Culver's." Very long line, only two registers open. The restaurant itself isn't full though so clearly a backlog. Food arrived, cold burgers but hot fries. Frozen custard was unusually grainy. Both men's and women's restrooms were terrible, small, dirty and in need of repairs. read more

We frequent Culver's often. This was our first bad experience. Per the website, the "seasonal" walleye was still available. That apparently wasn't true today according to 2 employees. The first one gave me a blank stare like he never knew it existed, the second one said it wasn't available for a few weeks. I'm all for hiring young people, but it didn't look like anyone knew what they were doing. Secondly, they got one of the two orders incorrect. No offer to remedy it other than bring me a bun for my fish so I could make my own sandwich. It was also very disappointing to see the condition of the ladies bathroom. The floor (especially the corners) were very dirty, and the paper towel dispenser was broken. Who says that billboard advertisement doesn't work? I was heading south from Madison, Wisconsin and saw the billboard. You know the billboard, that big sign saying that the World's largest Culver's is up ahead! How can I pass up seeing the World's largest? So I exit and join the hundreds of other families who saw the same sign. I ordered a butter burger basket and onion rings. Not sure exactly what a butter burger is, but I assume butter is involved in the making of the burger. The butter burger was average and maybe a little burnt. The onion rings were good. Nothing to write home about. After finishing the butter burger I had to get some frozen custard. I opted for a simple medium cup of chocolate custard. It was so smooth, creamy, and good! Well worth the visit! The billboard worked, causing me to pull off the interstate, and spend about $12 at the World's Largest Culver's. read more

Fast food usually is critiqued differently for me then other restaurants since quality and such will normally just be lower (you get what you pay for) but Culver's is one of those places that does a good job of giving good food and service for a nominal amount of your cash. You can't travel far in Wisconsin without running into a Culver's and since we passed this on our way to Chicago and it was the world's largest, we just had to stop, right? It was also a nice place to pull over and give ourselves a break. Food and custard were all standardly good. The real highlight here was the staff. They were able to work through a long line in a matter of minutes without being flustered or disorganized. I was very impressed with the amount of people they got through in under 10 minutes. The restaurant was also highly stocked and clean for how busy the rush was (or maybe this is just a normal day for them). Great job to that Culver's team. read more

The World's Largest Culver's! We've passed it multiple times and finally made the stop. Its size really is impressive. The parking lot seemed pretty full, yet we were the only people seated in our section up by the giant front windows so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The staff was really patient and friendly. The food was great, as always. Everything was prepared as requested and looked really appetizing, not something you'll always find with fast food. My husband missed the mustard dispenser like we have at our neighborhood Culver's, but that was really the only negative we could come up with. "A-OK" as the three stars implies. It wasn't bad for a fast food joint. My boyfriend got the Deluxe, and I got the cheese butterburger. We split fries and a vanilla/chocolate custard with peaches and blueberries. Honestly, everything was pretty average for me. The burgers tasted like...a burger. Mayo, ketchup, beef patty, lettuce, tomato, etc. It was a very standard burger. It wasn't bad at all, just something I probably could have made myself, which is why I gave it three stars. I enjoy burgers from in-n-out or M burger because they have a special sauce that really puts it all together and makes it different. The fries were also average. The custard was pretty good, it tasted fresh and smooth, which I liked. The fruits were also real fruits (yay) and not just fruit juice or syrup. I'm glad I tried it, but it's not something I see myself ever craving or would go out of the way for. Super spacious lobby! So much seating area. We always stop here when going on road trips with big crowds. Fast service and friendly staff. Clean and spacious bathrooms. During this quarantine time we stopped through the drive through and had a very complicated order. They were gracious enough to hear us out and did everything exactly like we asked. Even drew little hearts on our milkshakes and said they sprinkled them with love. Definitely recommend stopping by when you're on this route.
