I made a recent lunchtime visit to this Chick-fil-A (Madison, Wisconsin). As I approached this business, I was pleased to see the cleanliness of the premises along with the freshness and newness of the infrastructure. On a special note, I greatly respect any business that can proudly and prominently display the American flag - these businesses always earn bonus points with me. The drive-thru here appeared to be well-maintained and operating smoothly; however, I decided to dine inside with my fellow Chick-fil-A fanatics. There was a fairly short line when I stepped inside, so I had a couple of minutes to browse through the well-displayed menu to decide what I wanted for lunch. I ordered the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich Deluxe meal, with criss-cut fries and a Dr. Pepper. The young lady taking my order was friendly and professional. And, I guess it's been a while since I came to a Chick-fil-A because I forgot how many different sauces they have. The young lady asked what sauces I'd like with my meal, and I naively responded that I would like one of each. Well, without hesitation, she did in fact give me one of each of the sauces they have, all eleven! On a side note, this is one of the things I like about Chick-fil-A over McDonald's. Chick-fil-A (or at least this location) does not charge you for sauces, and I find that most McDonald's locations nowadays charge you for any sauces beyond some ridiculously low number. My entire meal was fresh and delicious. My chicken deluxe sandwich was picture-worthy, and the chicken inside it was cooked perfectly. The fries were cooked perfectly as well so that they were golden brown and lightly crunchy on the outside. I also enjoyed eating my meal while having the dine-in experience, which is rare for me at a fast-food restaurant. Additionally, dining inside was a nice escape from the summer heat, and a better option than eating in the confined space of my car. While inside, I was also pleased to see several Chick-fil-A employees cleaning the dining area so that new customers could enjoy a clean environment as well. They were hardworking, and doing a great job of keeping the dining area clean. Overall, I could not have imagined a better experience while having my lunch here. This Chick-fil-A earned a well-deserved 5-star rating from me. read more

They introduced a couple of interesting menu items for fall. So stopped by to give a try. During the peak lunch hours around 12, this place is super packed with long line of cars. I went well before the crowd started. Banana pudding milkshake was one of the new items and it was an excellent milkshake. Honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich was the other new item. It tasted good as well. However, in advertisements there was a lot of pimento mixture on top of the chicken cutlet, but in real life it was a much thinner layer. Spicy deluxe burger, which was always my favorite burger, is still my favorite burger here. read more

Really the worst service at this location today. The people on the line today looked tired and not friendly. The gal helping us looked extremely annoyed to be asked questions. She probably would have grunted to avoid speaking if given half the chance. We asked for sauces and got nothing, granted I should have checked but why ask for our sauce preference and not put in the bag? I guess when you have a reputation for service it's even more disappointing when it is this bad. Especially when it's so freaking expensive, I will think twice about returning. Culver's makes a decent chicken sandwich now and it's not bad. read more

It's the expected excellent Chick-fil-A food and service. We stopped for lunch in a busy day and our food came out quickly and was fresh and tasty. There were multiple employees keeping the place clean and picked up, and I was asked 3 times if I needed a refill on my soda. Flowers on the tables is a nice touch! read more

3 stars is a combined result of 1. The app working as it should 2. The corporation finally takes PayPal. This matters because it's easier to simply sign in 1 place and pay for something than dig for a card. And, it helps avoid data breaches across several platforms and a card. 3. My wait time for the order to be brought out. Two basic sandwiches with no customizations and 1 water, 1 cup of ice. They gave 2 cups of water. Whatever. No worries. The kicker... for what CFA charges, I'm floored there's a limit of 2 sauces. I have never seen that from any location before today. I never redeem my birthday cookie and always forget. It expires too quickly and I give it away. Allergens. The points accumulated thus far haven't lifted me to the silver status. The drive through and parking lot appear clean. Super amazed at the number of people on a Friday night and in politico Madison. I'd figured these things don't align. All in all, it's CFA. The worker who had helped me and my sister told was so so sweet and she had a "in training" badge in and I honestly wouldn't have been able to tell she was newly working there. My sister and I got the chicken nugget meal and she ate the nuggets and I ate the fries and had the drink, but as we sat down and waited for our food to arrive at the table, there was coloring pages and crayons so obviously I had to participate!! Sometimes all you want is something simple Chick-fil-A is one of my favorite fast food chain restaurants. The spicy chicken deluxe is simple, but well done. The crispy chicken is not overly greasy, and the meat inside is tender and juicy. I prefer the deluxe sandwich because the additional fresh veggies make the sandwich more filling (& tasty IMO). I wish the fried chicken was more spicy (I actually can't even taste the spice, & I consider myself to be pretty sensitive to spice), and that the cheese was melted into the burger. For these reasons, I prefer the spicy chicken sandwich from Popeyes, but the Chick-fil-A sauce does offer this sandwich a great amount of redemption! I prefer waffle fries over regular fries, so the waffle fries that come with the combo meal makes me super happy I like dipping fries into ice cream, chick-fil-A sauce, or seasoning them with salt & extra pepper. Basic sodas and juices are available, but I recommend indulging in their milkshakes/frosted coffee sometimes I get the kids meal if I want a small snack, and the chicken nuggets have never failed me Service is excellent: the food arrives fast, and servers regularly check on your table to assess your satisfaction. Restrooms with multiple stalls are available. They are relatively well kept. I think overall cleanliness could be improved (some food crumbs may be missed on seats/tables), but for a busy fast food restaurant, they really do quite well. Ample seating is generally available, although this does vary depending on the time/day. read more

This is my 3rd time placing a mobile order for pick up. Last time, I waited 20 mins and this time I waited 15 minutes. The staff called me and I left without checking my order. Had the bbq smoked house chicken sandwich and I ordered grilled chicken but got a deep fried one. In addition, I didn't get any sauce. Guess I won't be coming back during busy lunch hours. read more

Exemplary Chick-fil-A experience. Excellent food, excellent service, and they went above and beyond by allowing my pregnant wife access to the restroom. Their only caveat was that they would sanitize their restroom after her use... which is what I would expect! Kudos to management here! We will be back next time we're in town. Atmosphere and service at Chick-fil-A is just absolutely phenomenal. After ordering at the cash register, I was given an upside down cone that had a picture instead of a number with the sauces I picked inside and I suppose this was my "ticket" for the server to know where to bring my food. I ordered some chicken tenders and some waffle fries on the side with a lemonade tea. Although the tenders were small in size, it was crispy and quite delicious dipped in BBQ sauce. I wasn't a complete fan of the lemonade tea drink but still managed to drink most of it down. Overall, a good meal indeed. read more

We are from out of town. Comparing this Chick-fil-a to the Chick-fil-a's in the Chicago, IL area, this one is every bit as good for service and taste. We did drive thru. While our order was being prepared, the worker at the window engaged us in friendly small talk. It helped to pass the time and he seemed genuinely interested in talking to us. The food was mediocre. We had nuggets, waffle fries, lemonade, and chicken soup. Th fries were the best item, but not really special in any way. The chicken nuggets were all white breast meat, and typically dry. I can never understand why more joints don't use the more succulent, juicy and flavorful dark chicken meat. The soup was mildly spicy (barely) and a bit too salty. The lemonade was too sweet and I obviously over sugared. All in all not a special experience. I know Chik-Fil-A is popular and I can only surmise that the American public is easily pleased by mediocre food. read more

My first visit for lunch. A couple of grandchildren wanted to eat here. I tried a chicken salad and it was tasty. My two grandchildren had the children's menu. It was nice That they could personalize their meal. One had chicken nuggets with fruit and the other chicken nuggets with waffle fries. They were told that if they did not like the toy that came with their lunch they could trade it in (unopened) for a dish or cone of ice cream. This business was busy. The bathroom was small. I went in to wash my hands and had to wait for 3 people ahead of me at the one sink and two stall bathroom. I noticed when I sat down at our booth that there was a hand sanitizing machine on the wall so I could have skipped the bathroom. The drive up was busy too with two lanes and it appears that you give your order directly to a person standing in the drive thru lane. I am not sure if that is standard procedure for this business or if the drive thru microphones were not working. There was personal service too as someone stopped by and asked if we needed any drink refills or condiments. Personally for me I don't make a habit of eating at fast food restaurants but I wouldn't mind trying a few other menu items down the road. read more

I have been obsessed with Chick-fil-A for years, ever since a trip to Des Moines in 2010. I was so sad that the only one in Wisconsin was in Racine, so I was elated when they announced they were opening one in Madison. Ever since their grand opening a few years ago, I have added this to my lunch rotation, and frequented here often during my pregnancy. I love the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich, and when their waffle fries are fresh out of the oven? Oh man, prepare yourself- you will inhale them. I'm also a big fan of the chicken nuggets, which pair perfectly with the honey mustard. The employees are always friendly and helpful. How can you not love Chick-fil-A?? After being deprived of Chick-fil-A in my undergrad years in Michigan, I am so glad I live 5 minutes away from one now. I still remember when they came out with the Spicy Chicken Sandwich when I was a senior in high school. It's still my favorite sandwich. You can tell they emphasize customer service, almost to a fault. The niceties seem a little forced from the young employees, but I remember I was once like that. Practice makes perfect! Around the West Towne mall area today and my stomach reminded me that it was time to eat. I really like Chick Fil A so in I go! I ordered the classic combo - chicken sandwich, fries and medium soda. Total was $6.49. It can't be bad, can it??? No, it can't. If you've frequented Chick Fil A you know their service is above average. I had a young man who was training help me and he did everything right. Quick and efficient. Soda was in front of me before I handed my money over. Sat down after getting the necessary hot sauce (which is a MUST for me when eating here) and my food arrived within 60 seconds. The sandwiches are huge. This ain't no McDonald's chicken sandwich trying to be fancy. It's a huge piece of chicken breast on a delicious bun. Open it up, pour on the hot sauce, and I'm all set! The fries are delicious although I'm not a fan of the super small "break offs" that you have to pick up like a claw machine game. Small struggle but enough to make me think about... The sandwich is the star here. Moist, full of flavor and definitely satisfying. Anyone who thinks these sandwiches are bad is either unAmerican or have tastebud deficiency. It's really good and the price tag is fantastic. I only have two complaints about Chick Fil A. The breading, although delicious, always seems to be less crispy that desires. Maybe that's a personal preference. The other issue is styrofoam cups. I hate styrofoam cups, and I'm not an environmental soldier, but I know the environment hates styrofoam cups also. Small things in the grand scheme but big enough to keep the rating 4 stars instead of 5. Service here is amazing. The food is fantastic. Family friendly menu and prices. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community.... their politics anger me, but their chicken reminds me of St. Louis, the south, and home. So I have found myself in a loop- receive free breakfast coupon, eat Chick-fil-A, crave more Chick-fil-A, next day pay for and eat Chick-fil-A, donate to LGBTQ+ charity of some kind, repeat. Every bite fills me with shame. Every delicious bite. For breakfast, the best item is off menu- I order a biscuit with colby cheese, egg, and fried chicken. For lunch, we have options- A Southwest Chicken Salad with lime avocado ranch? Or a spicy chicken deluxe. Their cold brew and lemonade are even possibly good. Their service next perfect. Their bathrooms clean... There app far too user friendly and convenient. I really want to find something to bitch about. So... my recommendation? Eat the damn chicken, but if you feel half as dirty as I do about, make donations elsewhere. read more
