Culver's is great for scratching that burger itch. The food always seems so much better, fresher and maybe even healthier (less preservatives...I'm not sure) than some other chains. This place stays open until 11pm. It is Tuesday 07/21/26. Went inside before 10pm order food to dine inside Once I received my food, sat down to eat. Literally 3 bites were taken and little white petite lady told me to leave as they were closing. It was shortly after 10p. I inform the lady I just sat to eat & why when I ordered food was i not told I could not dine in it had to be take out. She said sorry but you can take your food to car or eat outside but can't stay inside. So, I went outside in the cold of 60° degrees out to finish meal. However, there were still people inside ordering food. It appeared i was the only one she kicked out. When I called inside for manager & spoke to Maxium which he also got smart to on phone when I asked his name he stated whatever I want to say on my review Max or Maxium he dont care. I asked about the policy then he proceeded to lie stating at 930 they start to tell people to leave & only except doordash or uber eats orders only. I looked online before even going to culver to see closing time. I have never been treated so rudely EVER. I did let him know I was going to report to cooperate & write review. I normally do love Culver's and all there options there staff is usually pretty good however this location I have had more issues at than any other I've been too. I'm not writing to spread anything bad about the establishment but I do think they could touch up on their customer service a little bit. I went for dinner and didn't get much just a burger cheese curds and a pop. All of the employees I did interact with were fairly nice however I waited over 20 minutes for my meal in the drive through For what is supposed to be a fast option turned into an upsetting situation especially because I was only one of 4 cars in line. We do not have Culver's in Southern California, so this is one of those guilty pleasure places we visit when we're out and about as a family. Decidedly fast food in nature, Culver's does the cheeseburger and fries thing, but for me, it's nothing to write home about. We're an In N Out family, and probably in the same way folks from other places come here and are either "all in" or "skip it" about a Double Double Animal Style at In N Out... we're sort of meh on Culver's food. Lots of fried stuff, too... cheese curds, fish sticks. It's all totally great when you're in a hurry or late or day drinking. Wait, who said that last part? However, what they lack in grill-skill Culver's more than makes up for with their frozen treats. There is nothing like a Culver's frozen custard-- rich, creamy, definitely not something you tell your cardiologist about. On a hot NoDak day, a nice Culver's shake or float hits the spot and slakes your sweet tooth. I'm partial to a Concrete Mixer... which is sort of like a DQ Blizzard, but somehow better. Maybe it's that we can only enjoy Culver's in exotic places. Like Arizona and New Mexico and Grand Forks, ND..... I'm a fan of Culver's, even if it's not exactly Keto friendly. We stopped in to talk to a manager about an issue with our son who has a peanut allergy. He was in on a Saturday and ordered a drink that he knew was perfectly safe. He was given the wrong order which had peanut butter in it. He ended up in the ER as a result. We will also need to replace the Epipen that needed to be used. My wife wanted to just mention it to the manager Faith that a serious error occurred in giving him the wrong drink. Faith did not care, blamed our son for the issue, and took no responsibility for an incorrect order given to a customer. No apologies and no concern for his welfare. So much for the "small town hospitality" they advertise. Our family has always loved Culvers and they have always displayed good customer service UNTIL TODAY. After this experience it will be a long time before we set foot in in any Culvers. I can understand a mistake can happen - maybe the servers could repeat the order when they hand it to a customer to avoid a problem. What I can't accept is a manager being rude. read more

Went here on an evening for dinner. I've seen Cullvers around all over but have not ever had food from them before. This restaurant was really clean inside and when we went around 8 PM, it wasn't busy so we got our food really quick too. I had the double patty swiss patty melt and I thought it was pretty good. As I was eating the sandwich, the cheese was pulling back and stretching, making it definitely the cheesiest sandwich I've ever had. Culver's used to have great food and excellent service. Not so much recently. It may be that it's difficult to hire people these days. There is the need to hire any warm body so hiring excellent people is pretty much a thing of the past. Somehow, when I say "Pork Tenderloin Sandwich", it is heard as "Roast Beef Sandwich". Because, when I got home, that's what was in the bag. I didn't want to drive back and try to get it straightened out in the drive through. I'm disabled or I may have wanted to go inside to get my food replaced. So, I just ate it anyway. I visited this Culver's three times this week. The first time had a double butter burger meal with cheese curds. The burger was delicious, the cheese curds were ok. I noticed that they have changed. Seem like a different product than in the past. Not as good as I have had before. They remind me of the frozen cheese curds from Sam's. Second visit, had a great double Swiss burger. The cheese curds were once again , just ok. Third visit, thought I would try a salad, big mistake, the chicken was very dry and the salad just didn't look or taste that good. The final disappointment was I wS charged for the salad dressing. Who orders a salad without salad dressing? Raise your price if you must, but a salad should come with salad dressing. Being from Southern California, In-n-Out is where it's at. Unfortunately, Culvers is not In-n-Out. No, it isn't terrible by any means but when you're kind of hoping for one thing and it's not, it is somewhat disappointing. Apparently known for their butter burgers (basically a burger fried in butter?), the burgers almost have a crust on the surface. Sounds a little odd but definitely has an interesting flavor to it and it seems like a coronary waiting to happen. On the plus side, Culvers has many different menu options to choose from including sandwiches, salads, soups, etc. While it is a fast food place it has somewhat of a diner feel to it. Place your order at the counter and the food is brought out to your table / booth. Friendly enough staff and reasonable pricing makes this guy believe that this place is A-ok. read more

Didn't realize until I stopped to eat my lunch, that instead of a chocolate shake, I was given some vanilla ice cream in a cup, and not the chocolate shake I paid for. We love Culvers. We first discovered the Restaurant 10 years ago on our Honeymoon through Wisconsin to Door County. We were so thrilled to see one open in Grand Forks. Their custard tastes better than icecream, and their salads are the best I have ever had. Whenever we venture over the Canada/US border, we always make sure we stop at Culvers!
