There is some good and bad in this review. During the Corona virus restrictions we were only able to use the drive through. My wife ordered the fish sandwich and said it was excellent. I had a double bacon burger, fries and a strawberry shake. The fries were good. The burger on the other had was overcooked and extremely salty. It was difficult to eat. My wife tasted it and said it tasted funny. The strawberry shake I had was more strawberry milk. Very runny 30 minutes after eating I was sick to my stomach causing me to spend sometime in the bathroom. Although I appreciate Culver's staying open during the social restriction of the virus. Food took to long but it was very good, we sat inside but the onions on my burger were salty.

Recently we ordered online several ice creams along with 1 burger fries and a fountain drink. As soon as we placed the order my kids left home and checked in at the front letting them know they were there. 9:21 the receipt was printed out, it took them 40 mins to bring the ice creams out (ALL WERE MELTED DOWN) even the whip cream was completely melted. They forgot the burger fries and drink. When asked about items they brought the burger and fries but still forgot the drink (still never brought it back to them) We live not even 2 mins behind this Culver's. When the kids arrived I saw this mess and called immediately. I asked how is it all of the ice creams were melted down. She said well as soon as we print the ticket we push the order through... I said ok so why not bring that order out right away knowing it's ice cream. She said they were backed up.... So then why not remake these before bringing an order out? It doesn't make any sense to make the ice cream and not bring it out to the car right away. Those ice creams sat out for way to long before being given to my kids. They did offer to replace another day.... However it fully ruined everyone's order that evening. Great custard! I only went through the drive-thru because I wanted to try a frozen custard, never having one before. It really is dense and creamier than regular ice cream. It really felt indulgent and decadent but I'd recommend sticking with the smallest size. I would have had a stomach-ache with more. The Butter Burgers were so good, and not overly stuffed; easy to eat. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss; yum! I look forward to an annual visit. read more

I've only ever been through the drive thru, so I have no idea what it's like inside. The drive thru always looks like it's going to take forever to get through, but it usually goes fast once your place your order. It's not your standard drive thru since they give you a number to pull ahead with and they'll bring your food out. Every time I've been, the drive thru attendant and the person bringing my food have always been VERY nice! I tend to notice if you seem like you absolutely hate your job and they always seem happy to be there and genuinely want you to have a good experience. I've had their cheeseburgers (normal and butter), chicken fingers, chicken sandwich, and milkshakes. I've never had a bad meal out of the many times I've been. I didn't want to try it initially because some of the reviews turned me off, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. Their fries aren't that great, but are you really going to Culver's for the fries? The milkshakes are thick and very rich. As long as I live as close as I do to Culver's, it's going to be my go-to when I need something fast. read more

Was excited about this place but after two visits, and had the same experience. Drive through wait is horrible especially for just one item. Both visit got their custard concretes, when they were handed to us custard is all over the cup/lid basically just one big sticky mess, just plain sloppy and an inconvenience of cleaning custard all over the place. Custard was already runny/ melted. Custard is alright nothing special unfortunately. Service isn't that great. And the whole parking and drive through set up is just ugh! Plain horrible! Well.. After having the drive through person call me crazy (because he didn't know they sold cheese fries) I got my order... Only to drive home, and find out they gave me fries.... With unmelted cheese. I could've done that at home.. I'm never one to complain but it probably takes 30 seconds to melt cheese on to fries! Definitely disappointed! read more

5/17 My cousin told us she heard about this great new custard place on the beach. I said, "I saw a Culver's..." Yes! She told us we should try it. I laughed. Culver's is based out of Wisconsin. We have one on every street corner. :) It was the same excellent food and great service as back home. Very friendly and very patient. I got a single butter burger with cheese. Their burgers are just GOOD and I love that they ask which condiments/veggies you want on them. The burgers don't taste processed and they look appetizing when you open the paper. The fries are crinkle cut and have great flavor. Switch out fries for cheese curds sometime. Culver's cheese curds are the bomb. Other favorites are the pork tenderloin sandwich and the pot roast sandwich. Hubby loves their mushroom & Swiss burger. Really good stuff. The kid's meal comes with a coupon for a free scoop of custard and a "Scoopie" coupon. You can either save up the Scoopies for Culver's branded toys or save up ten and get a free kid's meal. The custard is ahh-maze-ing. The flavors of the day can be a little hit or miss. I prefer to stick with the standard vanilla and get a sundae or a concrete (blizzard). It's absolutely loaded with calories but a little indulgence once in a while is good for the soul. :) read more

Probably the worst functioning restaurant I've ever been to. All the employees act like they hate their lives. Also, I don't really understand the point of taking a number at the drive through if the employees just walk up to every car and ask what they ordered. Also, god help anyone that has two separate orders, because the employees act like you're speaking Swahili when you tell them this. As for my banana split, it was very good, aside from the banana. Culver's is the place to go for freshly cooked food. They prepare the food as it's ordered. The owners are amazing they focus on not limited to giving the youth a chance for a head start in the working world. The only negative experience I have had is the older in the dining area, she seems to not concentrate on doing her duties and more with talking to customers and I have personally witness her yelling at her coworkers some to the point of them in tears. Every-time I worked in Ft. Mill, SC or near Chicago this was a place I would visit. I was very excited when this place came to Navarre. So far I've had very good experiences here and so have the people I've gone with. I always get a burger and a concrete. I have young nephews and they really love this place. I think it's a really good sit down burger place with custard. If you do the drive through expect for it to take a bit since they cook stuff fresh. Definitely worth the carbs. read more

Reminds me of Dairy Queen but better. First night they didn't have lemon ice so I got a 'blizzard'. It was good and I finished it all after eating grease ball seafood 10 minutes before. But when going through the drive thru at 10:10pm, I was turned away and told that they are only opened until 10:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. There were also cars in the drive thru ahead of me. First off, surely there has to be a better way to serve food than have cars pull to the front of the building and wait for their food...especially when there seems to be no rhyme or reason of getting cars their food in order. We waited 15 minutes for our TWO shakes when other cars behind us were getting their food much quicker. I know it does not take 15 minutes to make 2 milkshakes.
