I happened to be in the area when I went by Andy D's. I had some extra time, so I decided to stop in for a light appetizer. The bartender was very friendly, and the food came out fast. It was delicious. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely come back.

Andy D's was our first seafood stop in Navarre Beach and it was a good choice. I had a grilled grouper sandwich with onion rings and my wife had the fried shrimp with sweet potato fries. My sandwich had two lightly seasoned filets with tomato, lettuce and onion. The onion rings were okay but I prefer less batter on them. My wife said she had a generous portion of well fried shrimp and she also enjoyed her fries. She didn't have room for her hush puppies but another member of our party said they were some of the best he had ever had. Our server was Ariel and she did an excellent job. There was a live band tonight and a lively crowd enjoying the music outside. I think there is a good chance our group will be revisiting Andy D's.

Unsliced pizza in a hotel room is a bad combo

Getting a to-go pizza to take back to your hotel room and realizing once you are back in your room that the staff didn't slice the pizza is not a fun time. We tried tear by hand slightly but that wasn't going to work. Thankfully my husband always has a pocket knife on hand otherwise we would have been SOL. Just an okay pizza that we didn't think was worth the cost.

We had such an amazing lunch at Andy D's. The decor is so cute. Grouper sandwich was BIG and delicious! Fried green tomatoes had a chipotle aioli, which I wasn't sure about, but it was fantastic. Grilled shrimp were SO FLAVORFUL, mac & cheese was creamy, hush puppies moist, and the pina colada was quite possibly the best I've ever had. I'm gonna walk there just to get another one! Our server, Gabe (?), could not have been more friendly or accommodating. He even ran back to the kitchen to get me a cup of cherries for the pina colada when they were forgotten (I wouldn't even have noticed!). Exceeded every expectation and we will definitely be back. Thanks for an amazing lunch!!

Sat at bar. Sunshine was bartender. She was nice. They open at 730 but don't have their bartenders come in till 8 and they are always overwhelmed trying to get bar open and serve customers. The food is simple nothing to it. My chicken fried steak was basic nothing fancy and the breakfast potatoes are your typical frozen no flavor yuck! My husband shrimp and grits were good so I give it 3 stars. They do offer a locals discount. Always clean inside.

    Blackened Chicken Nachos

While spending a day hanging out on the beach we came here for a drink and a snack. We got here about 20 mins before lunch was being served and the lady working at the outside bar was very quick to give us "the rules" that we "had to wait 20 minutes" if we wanted to order any lunch items, as she couldn't enter them into the system. Now, I get that this might be how their POS works, but this type of discussion is NOT appropriate to have with customers. But I will say that once that time came up, she was quick to come back and let us know it was time to place the order, which was nice. I knew we wanted chicken nachos, but they offered different styles of chicken, so I asked which was best and she said blackened and that's what we ordered. They came out rather quickly and looked amazing. There was sooo much diced chicken on them which was so very tasty. The chips were thin and everything was flavored nicely. Definitely met our expectations for some tasty nachos! The sad part was the drinks we ordered... they basically tasted like fruit juice with absolutely ZERO amount of alcohol added to them, which is terrible considering we're paying for an alcoholic drink. Overall, we luv's the nachos, we hated the drinks, and the service was mixed... Take it for what you will.

After about 10 minutes of waiting for our food we were informed that they had dropped it and were currently remaking it. That's okay, mistakes happen. We were pleasantly surprised when our food came out just 5 minutes later! They also gave us a discount for the trouble! Excellent customer service. Food was good, prices are a little high but understandable for the area. I love their fries, they're like curly steak fries.

    Shrimp appetizer

Service was laid back. Chicken fingers were not remarkable and fries were oddly shaped. Shrimp appetizer was good but salsa was wilted and not appealing. Really wanted to enjoy the food but with all the great seafood restaurants in the area Andy D's was just adequate.

I have to say that we met Brian, bartender, who was absolutely one of the friendliest, easiest person to visit with, also he was so busy, but always was punctual to serve us. We went there three days in a row to eat, drink & visit Brian. The breakfast was excellent. Ambience was sports bar & tiki hut feel. Dogs were allowed.

Shrimp Tacos with Mac and Cheese

We arrived and were seated immediately inside but were noted there would be a 15 minute wait for outside. They have live music outside and we were there to eat not ambiance so inside was nice for us. We were immediately greeted by an upbeat server who was on her A game and stayed on top of our service at our table besides being very busy. I had the shrimp tacos and they were delicious and the Mac and Cheese was hot and creamy. My friend had the redfish blackened and he said it was fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection. He said the German Potato Salad was out of this world. This was our first time here and if in the area we will visit again.

The one small issue is that the outdoor string lights weren't working, but Abigail brought out table lamps to provide light once it got darker outside. The ambiance outside was nice too with a beautiful view of sunset and comfortable shaded area. The prices are more reminiscent of LA but the quality of ingredients was great. The service, sufficiently attentive. The view? Omg spectacular. Parking is simple. It's tucked in Navarre Beach which is a quiet, peaceful place. We sat outside and had it to ourselves because it was hot. The indoor was cute though. Nice high, beam vaulted ceilings and very fun scallop shell light fixtures. It felt like a beach house but nonetheless we opted for the fresh air overlooking the gulf. We had shade although they also have sofa seating in the sun. The salad was the best I've had here locally. Reminiscent of a CA salad and I deeply missed that. The pork belly was wild! A thick generous portion. My husband devoured it. It was very good, although he found it slightly overdone, I did not as pork should be cooked thoroughly. I am looking forward to returning here. It's one of the best meals we had here, right on par with Jackson's & the Grand Marlin.

Our server was a little robotic and never mentioned their specials which we overheard later from another server. The ambiance, wait what ambiance I'll give it a 3 out of 10. Your food runners I'll say reminded me of workers at a Taco Bell. T shirt out a hat on backwards and unshaven the other had nice hair but also a T shirt untucked. We had the 9 oz filet that was good but you get better flavor at Long Horns. The baked potato was really good and the salad was ok. The cheese chunks were just ok nothing like the old giant ones the other owner had. I would highly recommend The seafood corn chowder and the roasted Brussels. There was no mention of any desserts anywhere until the server mentioned them at the end. For as much as we paid over $250 you would expect a richer environment. 6.5 out of 10!

Unfortunately, the food and service experience didn't match the setting. I ordered the crab-stuffed blackened grouper with jalapeño crust, a house salad, and queso mac & cheese. Ordering was confusing from the beginning. I initially asked about having the grouper blackened and was told I couldn't, then asked for the jalapeño crust. When my food arrived, I was told they don't do that preparation on this particular dish. It didn't feel like our server knew the menu well enough to guide me through the options. The grouper itself was underwhelming and lacked seasoning. Then I found a hair on my plate. I was immediately offered a replacement, but at that point I didn't want the meal remade. I was told twice that a manager would come speak with me. Instead, the check came almost immediately, my meal was removed, and a manager never came to the table. It honestly felt like the priority was getting us checked out rather than having a manager actually address what happened. For a waterfront seafood restaurant, I expected the food to be the highlight. Instead, the atmosphere was the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return for the food.

This was a large portion of chicken, shrimp and krab sticks with mushrooms, peppers and onions all grilled. It came with the beans, rice and fajita fixings.
