Based off these experiences, it allows us to make the choice to use a business or purchase a product . While I am happy to say, not all my experiences are bad, I did have a terrible experience at Culver's restaurant in New Smyrna Beach, Florida on July17, 2026. When I think of CULVERS, I don't see them as they portray themselves on TV. Not everyone is friendly or ready to help; but some are. And I want to say I appreciate those who have been helpful. Unfortunately, I don't know their names, but if I did, I would recognize them. As for the individuals I do know, I would like to mention them. Starting with Barb, she had always been an outstanding worker and friendly. I would even say, from the moment I met her, I felt like I met a new friend. We shared stories about issues in the store with her coworkers; and compared it with our work ethic that we were raised on. When Barb took my order, she made certain it was right. Another person I want to mention is Kathy. We've known each other for years. I met her back when she was a manager at McDonald's. During my last visit at Culver's, Kathy and I were talking, while another associate was taking my order. I had ordered the 3 piece fish dinner without LEMON . After she took my order, Kathy and I stepped away to continue our chat. Then the manager Chloe walked up and looked at Kathy to say, "Here's your two piece fish. I replied I ordered the 3 piece dinner without LEMON. Then the young lady who took my order apologized, and said she only charged me for two. I accepted her apology, and let it be. Kathy then told me not to worry, cause it will be taken care of. But that's far from what happened. CHLOE didn't apologized. She walked off with my food and brought back one fish with lemon . And she proceeded to charge me for the individual piece. Chloe hadn't explained what she was doing; and she never stopped to listen, when I asked for my receipt. I requested that she refund the 2 piece and ring it back up as a 3. The reason I asked her to do that was it cost more the way she did it. Chloe refused to give me my receipt; and she alloed things to escalate by looking at other customers behind me to agree with her. Of course, they didn't know what happened, but they were hungry and ready to order. As we were discussing this, I noticed the fish had lemon , and I requested it be returned. And clearly, this upset her. This is when I requested to speak with her boss or the owner. Turned out, the GM *(ETHAN GERRY)* was the one who made my order, and told Chloe *He didn't want to deal with me.* At least that's what she related to me. From here, I continued to ask for my receipt and requested she ring it up as a 3 piece; but she never did. Chloe kept saying, *"I already rung it up." Ultimately leaving me to pay for it separately. Then on my next visit on July 31, 2026, Chloe walked up to me and loudly asked, did anyone take my order? The lady who did help me replied, "Well yes. " and from here, Chloe announced to everyone NOT to serve me. Then she looked at me, and said, "I'll let you take your order this time, but you are NOT to come back or I will trespass you. " I never had words with her or anyone else. It's just how she ended my visit. I requested the other manager at the store if Chloe could speak with me, but like Chloe she was rude too; as she has been in the past and told me I need to learn how to talk to others. I responded by saying, you have a blessed day. Other than these two girls, I haven't had any run in"s with any other associate. Since this, I attempted to request the owners David and Maria Ferreria to contact me through email, voice mail, and through their website; but no one has responded. If I had any advice for other customers, it would be to ask for your receipt. The reason is, I have seen them DENY customers their food, because they didn't have proof they paid for their order. This restaurant is the only place I know who does this. Outside of them, other fast food restaurants give it to you. The Culver's restaurant in NSB, isn't the only place to go, I have taken my business elsewhere. read more

Culver's has quickly become one of my favorite fast food places in a long time. Honestly, I've loved just about every burger I've tried, and the quality really stands out for a fast food chain. Everything tastes fresh, well made, and never greasy. And then there's the frozen custard. I'm not usually an ice cream person because it tends to upset my stomach, but for some reason Culver's frozen custard doesn't bother me at all. I've loved every flavor I've tried, but the chocolate one, the one that feels like multiple kinds of chocolate all mixed together, was easily my favorite. Absolute perfection. What really surprised me is how clean and well run everything is. Ordering is fast and efficient, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the prices are equal to or even cheaper than places like McDonald's lately, but with noticeably fresher and better-tasting ingredients. Culver's is proof that fast food can still be done right. Fresh, affordable, and consistently good, it's a place I'll happily keep going back to. read more

Enjoyed a Wisconsin Melt today at Culver's in New Smyrna Beach in State Road 44 this afternoon. It was so good. It's a hamburger patty with sautéed onions and melted Swiss cheese on toasted rye bread. Then had to have a treat. The vanilla custard was so creamy on a waffle cone. The ambiance was very good. The staff is very friendly with quick service. Very clean restaurant and bathrooms with Wisconsin hospitality. read more

Who doesn't love a great hamburger fast? Well Culver's isn't just another fast food burger joint competing for our love of hamburgers. Although they just opened their door this place is rocking it and it doesn't seem like the learning curve is too steep. The service here is outstanding starting at the counter - our enthusiastic order taker was well groomed and spoke clearly with the appropriate volume. She repeated the order and thanked us for coming in as she handed me our unique placard to ensure the food runner could easily find us so we could find a comfortable seat while waiting on our food instead of hovering over the counter. After receiving our order, the staff continually roamed the dining area, wiping down tables and the self-serve area and checked on every customer repeatedly to see if everything was to their liking and if there was anything else we needed plus they bused the tables after asking if we were done eating. I've only eaten the "deluxe" burgers ant Culvert's and of course their delicious ice cream. I don't really understand the butter burger hype it just doesn't appeal to me so my normal order is the double deluxe all the way with "crinkle" fries (my all-time favor fries). The food arrived fresh and hot - my burger was exactly like I ordered it (okay I did peel off a few of the onion petals I wish they would slice them more uniformly and thinner, but it's not a deal breaker. (1/2/2024) brought mom in to check out the new restaurant in town. She had the Atlantic Cod Fish Sandwich and I got a Culver's Bacon Deluxe (with a single patty) Value Basket. We dined in, the food was fresh and hot. Mom had never had cheese curds before, so got a side of those. They're deep-fried and cheesy, not much can go wrong there. I will say, the cheddar curds are way saltier than the white curds (which I prefer). I agree with previous poster about oddly thick raw red onion slices on the burgers, I'd also prefer it thinly cut or shaved, it just too much onion. The deluxe came with LTO, pickle, and American cheese, but you can customize. The cod was a very thick piece, flesh kind of bland, somewhat unwieldy to eat. Mom wanted a knife and fork, but they are oddly stingy with the utensils, which are not out, you have to go and ask. I ended up using the set I had in my handbag from the Wawa (hahaha). We got the famous frozen custard flavor of the day, Cappuccino Cookie Crumble. It was dense, thick, creamy. Mom and I were sharing, they gave us 1 spoon. Good thing my Wawa utensil set also came with a spoon. Ketchup containers were oddly empty the day we were there, but there are packages, and those are way more sanitary anyway. Bonus: packages of Cholula hot sauce! A few odd kinks here and there, would go for the frozen custard shakes and Concretes. I do plan my trips are ease of driving, I gotta say, this new section with the 7-Eleven, Panera, Culver's, and Zaxby's needs an easier way to get eastbound on SR-44. I got the fried shrimp dinner w onion rings and she gor burger and fries..2 drinks.. absolutely fantastic. cheaper than other fast food and so much better. hot fresh and crispy. excellent young customer service who immediately took our tray and asked 3x if we needed anything. I haven't had this good of a customer service experience in decades at fast food. look at my other reviews and you will see this is out of character for me to rave. then my wife got a custard cappuccino cookie crumble cone and it was insanely good on a waffle cone. so we bought 2 pints of icecream. a nice young worker boy suggested the espresso custard and my wife got orea volcano. I didn't know they make fresh frozen custard in house daily..every day is a different flavor! this place is going to boom. the customer service and quality of the food is amazing. The first time I ordered a burger - the restaurant was really busy and hopping! I ordered a butterburger - customized with toppings I wanted -- it was amazing. I have returned a second time- ordered the same burger and the burger patty was not hot - and I did not enjoy it at all. I went back a third time and I requested the burger be cooked fresh and I did not mine waiting - The lead person said - "every burger is made fresh" - I told her that the first burger story and the second burger story and asked if they could just make mine with a hot off the grill patty. She said they are all that way. Well - they may be "assembled fresh" with the toppings however the burger patty was not good - had been sitting waiting to be assembled for a while. My suggestion is to go when they are extremely busy and you will receive a great - hot off the grill patty ... or order something different. read more

first of all the I LOVE this culvers. this was my first time going to this culvers, and as soon as we walked in they made us feel right at home. the manger came up to my children and started joking around with them. the food was FANTASTIC and fresh! and they even gave my children a free cup of cookie dough. overall i recommend this culvers. every single worker inside was happy and smiling.
