McDonald's is officially McDownsizing: How many of us could ever imagine that in our lifetime we would see Mickey D's reduce the number of restaurants and quite possibly disappear? With the innovations made in the burger world the past few years it's not that surprising to me this dinosaur who has refused to un-engineer its menu until the last possible minute to save its rear-end is now feeling the same kind of pain many of us that grew up eating their process concoctions have felt forever. I've lived within a few miles of this McDonald's for over six years and today was my first time pulling into the drive. It has nothing to do with this location, this place actually looks pretty good and I liked their coffee my concerns have more to do with the willful and continued sale of what has been proven to be unhealthy choices using creative flavor profiles to enhance their products chemically to make them more appealing and in my opinion addictive. Can McDonald's be fast, cheap and offer high quality? Well the last time I checked they definitely aren't cheap and the time I spent in this drive-thur convinced me they are no longer fast so the only remaining question is do they offer high-quality ingredients and I'm not talking about their coffee or apple slices. Maybe I should defer that question to Morgan Spurlock ( the creator of "super size me" the documentary ) never mind. I had to chuckle when reading about their latest endeavor the "McLobster" this second attempt is meant to play on your chemically induced forgetfulness, this was introduced in 1993 and failed miserably, but I'm sure there are many "McLovers" out there salivating over a few pieces of lobster folded into a jar of mayo. Anyway the employee here were pleasant and are looking forward to the their hourly raise being discussed and challenged by the franchise owners at "McHeadquarters". What is the worst thing that can happen if the majority of these employees walk off the job, we get healthier? Lastly exit this restaurant at the rear of the property trying to pull out on Route 44 with the beach traffic can be a little tricky this isn't a marketing campaign it's the truth. read more

Ordered a cheeseburger happy meal with fries and a diet coke. Got home and no fries but apple slices. Never again!!!

Let's be honest. Nobody eats at McDonald's because of the five star food. It's fast food. However, I will certainly give credit is due. I received service with a smile at the New Smyrna Old Mission McDonalds. Even though my order was wrong, Logan, was friendly, patient and quickly fixed the problem. People in hospitality could certainly learn something from this young man. read more

Service took a lot longer in the drive through than expected. Not sure if it was the team just flat out getting after it inside working to decrease that football field length line or Karen in front of me picking apart her quarter pounder to the lady taking her order. Raine and Raniyah are some of the most greatest and caring employees they made sure my orders were right everytime I come it's a great visit. Unbelievable how bad it was order double quarter pounder with cheese meal it wasn't a double but single and extremely dry and I got charged for a double and only had one pickle on it and the fries were only half full then also Order quarter pounder with cheese this one was also dry as hell I thought they cook quarter pounder's to order guess not also had no pickles also had chicken nuggets which were good except the receipt saids bbq sauce but got sweet and sour instead how hard is it to put a order together correctly then also ordered a McFlurry which was only filled 3/4 the way never again I work late and ordered around 11 used to be a great late dinner also it cost $32 never never again read more

I used the mobil app to order table side and typed in my table number upon arrival. After about 15 mins I went to the counter to see if they had received my order. The woman at the register was very rude, claiming that I ordered curb side and they had waited for me but threw my food in the trash. I explained to her that I ordered dine in and typed in my table number when I arrived. She once again told me that it was curb side and that they would now need to remake my order. When she brought me my food, she also brought this ticket (obviously from the trash) and said that this was my ticket from earlier. Is it just me, or does it clearly state "eat in" at the top? I hate that she tried to blame me for making a mistake when it was their mistake all along. That to me is horrible customer service. Went to this location last night around 9:45 ordered six burgers two large teas and 4 piece nuggets.. two of them were no onions and one was extra ketchup and onions.. get the food and and it was wrong of course the three that we got altered.. they were cold had onions on all of them like they were hard and old just sitting in their heat lamps til someone came to order them.. nasty.. we sent them back to be corrected and the girl that brought it back out had an attitude like we're wrong for saying fix it the correct way we paid for.. finally ten mins later and three corrected burgers later we ate them along the way home.. once home we all got sick and have been sick all day today as well.. idk what they did to our food but we been puking and in the bathroom all night and day... They should visit the closed down Burger King whom never had whoppers and onion rings, even know they are the home of the whopper. Fast moving Drive thru, but even though our order was right on the screen and receipts once we received it nothing was right. Kids meals had extra fries instead of apples slices, burgers were missing ingredients (for example pickles). I would rather spend a few more minutes in line to get my order correct then receive a rushed incorrect meal. Next time I will be the annoying person who sits in my car to check her order before I leave since this McDonald's cannot be trusted. Food was hot and we were still able to eat it. This is my second time at this location and today we had the worst experience. I ordered a happy meal, m&m mcflurry and a mocha frappe. This speficic location is great with good service and good food also they make it all fresh and even though they are pretty busy they can get you in pretty quick. Wife went here tonight. Incomplete order in drive through. She was missing 2-3 burgers she had ordered. They made her wait a long time for fresh fries. The fries she received were stone cold. I have had so many problems like this with this store. They have probably shorted 4 orders with me this month. You can also stand in the lobby for 10 minutes before somebody even takes your order.
