We went to The Grille on a recommendation from a friend. It turned out to be everything she said it was. The restaurant was a surprise since it was on a golf course and in a residential area. The decor wasn't fancy, but pleasing and simple. When we walked in, it was happy hour, so the bar was very noisy. We went to the dining room where it was quite pleasant and wasn't affected by the bar noise. Our server, Amanda, was very attentive to our needs, and answered all of our questions. When our food arrived, we felt that we were transported to Italy. The portions were large and delicious. My creamy pesto bowl was filled with pasta and was accompanied by a large ball of homemade mozzarella. It was truly scrumptious. We were in the mood for something different. I opened Yelp and let it surprise me. The first couple choices were not options, but the third was Tiano's. We were greeted when we walked in the door and seated immediately, at a table by the window overlooking the golf course. I ordered the chicken picatta and my husband had the manicotti. We both chose the soup, a Pasta Fagioli that was good. After ordering, we were brought warm bread with olive oil and spices. Over all it was a great experience, great service and food. This was the third time visiting the Grille. It has been awesome every time! My wife and I have Gluten intolerant and they have choices. They have Gluten free Pasta. We enjoyed an Italian themed menu and wonderful meal and service as the seafood scampi and the veal saltimbocca were on point, flavorful, and served fresh and hot. The red sangria was also tasty as well as the bread basket with herbs and oil. We took a piece of red velvet cake for the road and it was very fresh and tasty. Yes, it was noisy as we were seated in the bar area but hey, they were busy. My wife would have preferred a little more dressing on her Caesar; but paired with the freshly baked baguettes, I was very satisfied. I have been there three times, once with the previous owner., and twice with the new owner. This restaurant is a find! From the main dining room, the view of the golf course is beautiful. And.... The bar is a fun place. Everything we ordered was delicious. The homemade bread and the pizza, and the chicken dishes were perfect. The waitstaff is cordial and attentive. We love their pizza! In addition we've had very good dinners in the dining room. The wait staff has always been attentive and thorough. The only area where they could improve upon is, the takeout process. Having the bartender serve both their bar patrons and takeout customers is failing the takeout customers. I understand the bartender is going to get better tips from the bar patrons. I would suggest that the host double up and take care of the takeout customers when they are waiting long and clogging up the front door area. We're local NSB residents so we'll still keep on ordering from here. read more

Holy Moly!! This was an EPIC MEAL! I can't believe we've never stopped in for a delicious and authentic Italian meal. We brought our Noni (you Italians know that no one's kitchen is better than your nonnas kitchen) but when Noni took her first bite of the Italian wedding soup..."Mmmmmmm" is what she said. And the biggest compliment ever granted to a meal, our 88 year old Noni said, "Just like Momma's." We had calamari, pizza, lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs. So so so good! And we've only said that about Italian when we've been in Italy. Superb!!! Mom was able to speak with Phyllis and enjoyed hearing about the business and her life. Ordered Friday 6/7/19. Two spaghetti and meatball dinner with two side orders of meatballs and a pint of sauce. Xtra sauce!! We love the sauce - Paid $43 oh and bread- we had to pay for bread?? What? I've never paid for bread at an Italian place before. But fine we paid without question. Showed up to pick up the food. Female bartender brown shorter hair. Horrible customer service. Barely got a hello, handed the food. I tipped her $7. She couldn't even look our direction, no thank you, no recpts, nothing! We get home only to find she shoved the meatballs in the bag sideways and they leaked throughout the bag and it got on the floor board, it was a mess. Then the pint she gave us was also broken at the top and had leaked! Needless to say at that point I was not happy and called the rest to let them know and she answered. She basically argued she packed it and it didn't happen, then she blamed it on the kitchen, then she just hung up on me! Going downhill fast. Called a couple days ago when they opened and I got "the cook's not here yet and it'll be a while for your order" as a response. Lame. Today I order a Pie and a side of meatballs. The pie crust is burned on the bottom and barely done on top. It's a margherita and there was literally 2-3 little torn pieces of basil on each slice. The cheese was barely there. No tomatoes. Very CHEAP build. Lame The meatballs were in a hot container, yet they were lukewarm. Bland taste as well. We went on a Tuesday night for dinner. Place was old smelling inside. Great view of golf course. There is a large bar you can sit at. All dining is indoors. Staff was friendly and efficient. You get a choice of soup or salad. Soup was veggie or chicken noodle....not very Italian. I had the salad which is served with romain, carrots, tomato, and olives. Dressings are not homemade. They bring you yummy warm rolls and olive oil with herbs. I had the osso busco which was fall Off the bone tender. Served with red sauce that was good. I also tasted the beef ravioli which was really good and is made on site! Gnocchi is also made here but I didn't try it. Had the limoncello cake dessert. Very refreshing after a garlicky meal. Overall it is great value and I will return. Plenty of parking in lot. read more
