My work takes me to Oregon every other week or so. When it does, Culver's on Navarre is always an option that we all look forward to. The burgers are always great, the fries are well cooked, the cheese curds are GREAT and they have the best diet root beer in town! They always get the toppings on my burger correct and the service is pretty quick, considering each and every burger is made to order. If you have to choose between, McD's, the King or that gal with the red hair, Culver's is the way to go! Service is usually very good and staff members are friendly. Ambiance - dining area is very clean and maintained. I Love Culver's. I was late to the game. I just did not get it at first. What sets them apart from other fast food is delicious options you don't find at other places. Just swinging mayo all over burgers it's nasty. We specifically asked lettuce, tomato onion only no cheese. It was like we never said a word . The workers are always friendly and work hard to make your experience great. I like Culver's because they offer some food items that you can't find everywhere else. The pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes and gravy, and strawberry shake are some of my favorites. Today I ordered the buffalo chicken strips and onion rings. I prefer the buffalo strips over the regular strips because there is more crunchy breading. Beware, the buffalo chicken strips are a little spicy. The onion rings are good and nice and thin. I would give Culver's five stars, but I think almost $12 is a lot to pay for fast food and an item labeled as a value. The inside of the restaurant is fresh and clean with someone always working to keep things tidy. The only other downside is the parking lot. There are very few parking spots by the door. If you like traditional American hamburgers, this is a great place. The service is not as fast as standard fast food. They deliver your meal to you at the table. You can learn some of the history of Culver's from the Wisconsin theme, decor, and flyers, but I had to go to Wikipedia for more detail. This is a new location and they knocked it out of thr park! I've been to many restaurant openings over the years and they are usually subpar at best because the staff is getting used to procedures and protocols with a rush of general public mixed in. But this location was in top of it! For starters, this place was PACKED with a full house inside and a line wrapped around the building for drive thru. Being not only it's the Grand Opening, but it's also my first time knowing the place. There was hype about Culver's around mostly Oregon, Ohio, where they would tell me that this was the bee's knees at one of other locations around the States. From the legendary Butterburger to their delectable sweets, I'm happy to announce that the hype lived up to its expectations! The dine-in experience was stellar in my book. Being this connoisseur of all things burger, I could not help but walk in with mid to high expectations. I went with a few of my friends. We all usually go on double dates and try out different restaurants like this, though a couple of them had Culver's out in the Rockies of Colorado the years ago. So, going in this new location wasn't a surprise, though their satisfaction were better than expected. I have to agree with them because ERMAGHERD!! BRRGRRS!! I ordered up a Butterburger with swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato, large fries and a large drink, adding Butterfinger Concrete Mixer (think of the McFlurry, but with frozen custard). The combo was rather symphonic and smooth, even the burger. When they associate "butter" with it, just know this isn't butter (heh heh). Consumption wasn't anywhere bad! I had to save the other half of the combo for later. I want my stomach to enjoy this experience like it was my first Thanksgiving post-pandemic. I know, oil thinking too far ahead, but this is the NICEST I can say how incredible the place is aside of song too high of praise. With that all being said, if you're going to a place like this, do a lot of homework and planning with the menu before you walk in. I had just SLIGHT trouble on what to choose on their vast menu because they treat most of the items á lá carte. This also a GREAT place for dating and family get-togethers. If you're on a budget, consider looking at their website before you walk or drive there. It's affordable, but extra sides to the sandwiches and burgers will be priced, so be careful. Also to consider that since we're in a pandemic, I'd thought the spacing, dining in, was fantastic. Staff did make sure masks were on, tables were spaced, crowds were separate at all times. If you're that concerned about safety, I suggest waiting a couple of weeks so the lines can slow down, especially in drive thru. GOOD: - Food are mostly handmade - Plenty of food choices for platters, dinners - Service is timely and VERY hospitable at dine-in - Though pricey, you're getting more than your money's worth on some items. - Dishes looked near-perfect via presentation - Drive-Thru management were fluid and timely with most orders given the time there BAD: - Some toppings and sides can be pricey - Small inconsistencies in cleanup (nitpick) WORTH EATING THERE?: Fuck yes! ...but with a small err of caution. It's one thing of me bragging about the place, but it's also necessary to imply that we're still in a pandemic and from the time of this posting, they've JUST opened. The food was greasier than a mechanic's rag, the service slower than a tortoise on a Sunday stroll, and the ambiance more akin to a dingy gas station restroom than a family-friendly eatery. The food is always cooked perfectly. I have never had an issue when ordering burgers, chicken, fish, or even custard. Also, their customer service is always spot on as well. Plenty of professional personnel working there, which is great because I never have to worry about how my food will turn out. This location is awesome!! Although it was busy on a Sunday night the staff put in great work and kept the line moving. We dined in and the inside looked very clean and new. I noticed the staff cleaning tables after each use and regularly visiting customers tables to make sure we have everything we need. I ordered a double patty Butterburger with cheese curds and my friend ordered the cod sandwich with onion rings. Both were made perfect , not too greasy or wet. We also shared a Reece's cup concrete mixer which was huge for only being a size regular! I usually visit Culver's locations in Michigan (especially the Livonia location).... EVERY visit that I have ever had has been pleasant, no matter how busy the restaurant. Today (5/1/21) I went inside to order & the place is so unorganized its ridiculous. Instead of helping during what was a very busy time, one manager proceeded to sit in the lobby & eat lunch. While it is important to eat lunch, it's also important to satisfy customers. The workers were standing around in clear need of direction... Things would run a lot smoother if tasks were delegated better. I understand it's a new location so the demand is high, but the demand is also high at other locations. The manager ( heavier white guy) or whoever he was on duty was short with all of the customers, one of the cashiers made a mistake & rung someone up as eat-in when they were to go & he made a big deal about it. As a customer I shouldn't have witnessed this guy belittle the cashier for making a simple mistake. There was also a customer that received the wrong items in the drive thru & the manager was combative with that customer when he only wanted his order corrected. Get it together or this location won't last. The display of customer service, and the treatment of the employees I saw today was terrible. You guys should take notes and training from the stores in Michigan, or anywhere else actually. If this was my first visit to a Culver's it would've been my last. Get it together! read more

The food is great but the staff at this location are very rude. I witnessed a customer come in because she was missing a burger. The staff was very rude and came short of calling her a liar. They ask her to go back out to the car and get her bag so they could check it themselves, when she said she didn't want to go back out after waiting in the long line the manager came out and walked her to her car so he could check her bag Himself. I found this to be very rude. I then realized we was missing our cheese curds and had to go ask for them, I got them and sat down then the lady came and ask me "why did you forget your cheese curds?" Yum!! Culver's is delicious! My daughter and I had the fish and my husband had some type of hamburger. The fish was extremely tasty, but next time we will ask for extra tarter sauce. Hubby said the burger was a little greasy, but really tasty and it looked just made. I think grease is just greasy goodness! The fries were simple crinkle cut, but they were tasty and unique in a way. I did not care for the cheese curds. I think I'm spoiled by mikes cheese curds from Wisconsin. Excellent food and great customer service. I have gone many times before my shift at work and the one and only time I got the wrong order, staff was amazing.
