I read on Facebook that they have been using beef tallow for their fries for 10 months now! So we had to pop on it and check it out for ourselves! FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! Stopped for the first time today. I ordered the chicken sandwich which includes fries and a drink. The fries were real potatoes cut to order. They were a disappointment as they were not crispy and were dramatically unseasoned. The chicken sandwich was way overcooked and, like the fries, lacking flavor. All I tasted was the mayo and pickle. The chicken was still better than anything you get at McDonalds but way short of places that focus on chicken. I like the trend of gas station properties expanding and including gourmet/delicious restaurants instead of just national fast food chains. Doll 'n Burgers is no exception. We showed up for late lunch hour. Parking was a bit of a challenge, fortunately we saw someone pulling out of a spot as we were arriving. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. We ordered an assortment of burgers, grilled cheese, and poutine. My Deluxe double burger was excellent. Smashburger with some nice crisp on the outside, not overcooked, with good tomato and lettuce and pickles. My son loved the grilled cheese so much I had to go back for another. My wife enjoyed her fish sammy. The fries were crispy, the poutine gravy was delicious. The service was not just good - it was exceptional. The gentleman working the counter was enthusiastic and seemed genuinely happy to help us (first-timers) navigate the menu and explore the restaurant. I have to give opportunities for improvement even for a place I loved, so: I think there should be a la carte options for the kids menu. Can't really buy a grilled cheese sandwich unless you get it with a combo. There could have been a few more cheese curds in the poutine - the ratio was "one piece of cheese curd every 4-5 bites of French fries" which is a bit low for this cheese aficionado. Their homemade ranch was not good - it was runny/watery (wouldn't even stick to the fries) and too dill-forward. Ranch should be creamy and thick, like salad dressing. If you're going to make a big deal about "SAUCES FROM SCRATCH", they should be better than what I get from a Hidden Valley or Gordon's Food Service bottle, and this ranch was not. Overall, I loved Doll 'n Burgers and would definitely stop through next time I'm in the Tecumseh area. Great start to a wonderful afternoon there. Wish I lived closer! read more

Braden made my burger the absolute best I've ever had, the bacon was browned perfectly, just a little crispy and not burnt, service at the counter was amazing, Caden took my order and he has the best customer service, took care of me so well and answered all of the questions I had, Izzy and Frank suggested the grilled chicken to me for a more healthy option, and they also made my cheese curds perfect, the cheese was melting out the sides and stringy, and the ranch to go with it was just right! they are very fast with what they're doing and got my food to me within 2 minutes! read more

Staff super friendly and helpful. Food good, hot and comes out quick. They have burgers, hot dogs, fries, ice cream and shakes on the menu-standard fast food stuff. BUT, there is a salad option for the vegetarians, poutine for the Canadians and cheese curds for the cheese heads from Wisconsin! Burgers can come with one or two patties. Menu says its Black Angus beef and buns are made daily. Good stuff! Excellent! simple! bun was soft and fresh. cheese gooey and melty. patties, slight crisp but still juicy. topping onions pickle and SaUcccce can't go wrong Fries: usually not a fan of Thicc fries. but these wwereVERY crispy and still soft in the middle. Coney Dog: my only disappointment. I figured for $4 and in the Home State of the Coney Dog id get a Koegels Vienna in it. very disappointed. sauce was good though. didn't hold it agains them, they're called doll n' burger not doll n' dog. Meal #2 Burger: #1 double combo again. Instead of a hotdog as a side sando this time I decided to go for a Classic corned beef rueben. Very Happy. the video I saw on instagram they were pretty sparse with Sauerkraut. I made mention of this fact in the comments... when I ordered I forgot to mention extra kraut. very happy to see when I received it they may have taken notice of my comment. it had, IMO, the appropriate kruat to beef ratio. about 40/60. respectively. 50/50 is my preference but I used to work in a couple of kitchens and prefer not to tie the cooks up with special requests. Milkshake: Everything a made by order milkshake should be. The MASSIVE straw they give you makes u drink it a lot faster than u normally would from a burger place. I had gone through drive-thru and ordered poutine, a burger, a hot dog with everything on the side and an order of fries. Drove the 12 minutes home to find that my order was wrong! They put ketchup and mustard on my grandson's hot dog so he wouldn't eat that. There were two tiny diced pieces of tomato on my Burger and instead of getting poutine I got chili cheese fries. When I called up there to say something the manager basically called me a liar and then proceeded to tell me that the poutine that I got was correct and that they had used old burnt gravy on it and that's why it looked the way it did! When I call the main office I was told that I would be getting gift cards for my issues and that was back in February this is now July and I still haven't gotten anything! But to be told that you got burnt gravy and that's why it was chunky is unbelievable and to be told that by the manager was even worse. read more

We love this place, the food is always fresh and delicious. The selection is minimal, and the prices are on the higher end, but the food is worth it. We usually go through the drive-through but have eaten inside once. The dining area was clean, and we got our food pretty quick. First time stopping by. The drive thru stayed steady while we were dining there. We chose the outdoor seating as the night was nice for it. The inside was clean. The staff was friendly. We ordered the single burger hotdog fries and chicken strips. The burger was decent. Very messy. Not sure if it was grease or doll sauce. Their doll sauce is a mixture of mayo, ketchup, mustard and some small pickles. The flavor of the sauce was ok. The hot dog was good again it was messy as there was lots of ketchup and mustard. French fries had a great flavor over all. The chicken strips were just as you would expect for a kids chicken strip meal. Overall the price was decent for the food received. The service was good and food was brought to us at a good speed. It's nice to have something different to choose from. read more

This place has a friendliness like Chick Fil a and the same organization as well. I would not call this fast food at all. You can tell everything is fresh and the food is fantastic. They even do lettuce wrapped burgers for you low carb people out there. Tried the Rueben a few days ago and it was one of the best I've ever had (blissfield Coney Island has the best) Pretty sure the Rueben is a menu item that is just for a limited time but hopefully not. If you want something fresh and different from your normal take out food try this. It is pricey but I'm a believer you get what you pay for. My wife and I drove to Tecumseh Sunday, (10/31/21) for lunch at Doll n' Burgers. I was very disappointed. Second bite into my hamburger I found a human hair imbedded in the burger. Needless to say I was grossed out. I took the burger to the counter and showed it to "Amber". She apologized and offered to re-make it for me. I declined as by then I had lost my appetite. She then offered me a refund, which I accepted. She refunded the price of the hamburger - not the entire meal. Kinda of stingy considering it was only a couple of dollars more for the rest of the meal. Also, when we were there it was not very busy, but the tables were dirty, and the floor was messy. The entire time we were there no one came out to the dining room to wipe down the tables, or sweep the floor. I doubt very much if I will be back. read more
