Stopped in to have a quick dinner. They had over 10 people talking about their personal life behind the counter no one acknowledged us. Unfortunately this is our third visit no mater what time of day we have come they are out of something from flavors of ice cream to Bacon to Pretzel bits. I had to ask for them to correct my order. They took the tray back and then brought same food out with a half cooked side of bacon and said it should fix it. Shock it wasn't fixed. This is my first time ever being in a Culver's. Sadly it will be my last due to lack of customer service. The employees do not look like they even want to be here, not once were we greeted. We did not know they didn't come as meals but yet we didn't get a "would you like to make it a meal?". It was amazing , hot fresh , it took a little extra longer but worth the wait ! The guy who took my order was rude I didn't know what to do I've never been there ? So he told me to pull forward in a snippy tone . The girl who brought out my food was pleasant . The food was outstanding , the fries were outstanding and the shrimp were delicious, the tarter was delicious he even gave me two and offered ketchup and salt and provided napkins ! They consistently mess up my order. Most recently they charged me $14.86 ($7.34 billed twice) for a 2-scoop flavor of the day. The 2-scoop is only supposed to be $4 and change. I spent $36.00 and had the worst meal of my lifetime . The soda's flat sandwiches soggy food overpriced and tasteless ....never offered tartar sauce to mask lack of flavor for cod sandwich. When I questioned the pricing at point of sale being higher by my calculations , was informed kid burger was made a basket.... Please remove 2.65 saved, later a decision I am grateful for!So from my car, the girl turned the computer screen from inside towards me ,as if I was able to see from 8 feet away at night. The soda was so flat you couldn't tell if it was Coca-Cola or Dr Pepper when I receive my food in the bag .I looked for my receipt and what I got was the kitchen receipt with no prices on it ,so when I got home and tried to call the restaurant "twice " I was disconnected ! Not sure why this location gets such poor reviews. We counter ordered and sat on the patio as we had our pup with us. Food came out fast despite it being very busy. The employee who delivered the food was very pleasant. Another employee asked if they could bring out a pup cup! Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. We sampled both the butter burgers (tasty per usual) but also got the beef pot roast dinner that came with a buttered and toasted sourdough base, a dinner roll & 2 sides. I chose mashed potato and broccoli. The broccoli seemed fresh, not frozen. I did also add cheese sauce which although looked like "plastic cheese" really tasted like good cheddar. I placed an online order on April 14th. The order was almost $80. BIG MISTAKE PLACING A LARGE ORDER. Came here on a whim today. We recently moved to the area and never had Culver's (they didn't have any in California). Husband has been raving about Culver's! So today, I figured why not ! Let's go. This location is closer to us than the one on US 98. This location was clean, tidy and feels like a maze walking in. The menu (which is plastered on the wall with large led screens) was very overwhelming for someone's first visit. I had to stand back and try to take it all in. Cashiers were very attentive and you could see how busy they were with everyone bustling around in the back. Downside was I felt a little rushed with the cashier who took our order. Tried to explain it was my first time and he kind of just brushed it off and I felt like he was just trying to get the line down (but there wasn't anyone behind us). Anyways, we scooted over to the drink station (I think it's cool Culver's has their own root beer !) coming for the root beer float or shakes next time! Also, loved that they had a reach in cooler with their custards ! We filled our drinks grabbed some condiments and headed to a table. I think we came after the lunch rush cause it wasn't that busy. As soon as we sat down, maybe 2 minutes later our food came out too! I have got to say, this is some of the best fast food chili cheese fries I've had. I loved the fact that the chili had beans in it and you could even see the veggies it in too. Secondly, the cheese was sooooo good! *chefs kiss* for this side. Never had problems with Culver's before. I was on the phone with my mother tonight as she placed her order through the drive-thru. She ordered the fish cod meal with an Arnold Palmer. She mention her Arnold Palmer taste horrible. She said she would ask if they can switch her drink to a root beer instead. So this young girl walked past her car to another car and brought the food out and she said Miss could you switch my drink out for me. The girl ignored her and my mom said hello. The worker said well you have attitude. My mom said I do not and I apologize if I do. The worker was very confrontational , rude and she kept walking from my mom's car. So my mom had to go inside to ask for a manager and to get her drink replaced. The manager gave her the root beer my mom said can I get some more ice. The manager Isabella went to tell her. The patties are super super thin so I'm glad I ordered doubles for my wife and me. Guess if we ever drop by again I'll be sure to tell them everything I want on the burger. The fries were pretty good and I'm not a fan of crinkle cut fries but these were salted and hot. The chocolate shake was thick and very good. How hard is it to follow simple directions like put the fries in a separate bag with the gluten free burger? After saying this twice at the drive through window they bring the fries with all the other stuff. The second time they brought it out they did the same thing. I finally showed the little girl they messed up and she wanted To argue. When I finally start getting frustrated after the little twit waves her finger at me and says "I'm getting a manager because you're rude". The manager tried making it up but too little too late. By the time they FINALLY GOT THE order right, my sundaes were a melted mess. You better learn about food allergies real quick, there's a REASON I made this request. So far, not so good. We are big fans of Culver's and we're excited we would have one a little closer. They did just open recently, so it could be that they need to work out kinks. -That being said, it took way longer than usual (at other locations) to get our food. -Nobody was walking around picking up trays or asking how everything was and if we needed anything else. -My kids ordered their custard after they ate, got the table number marker and we waited, and waited, and waited.. finally my husband went to see what the hold up was and they told him the machine was down. Which happens, BUT they could have checked orders they had open for custard and went to tell the people who ordered it that they were never getting it. Or if there was a problem even when we ordered to just let us know it was broken. My husbands chicken on his grilled chicken sandwich was also overcooked to the point he had to peel the top layer off. They had several people standing around that could have been helping with logistics... I think we will stick to the one in Zephyrhills, but nice try Plant City. read more
