My favorite thing from Culver's is definitely their crinkle cut fries and either their buffalo or regular chicken tenders. I've had their butter burgers before but it's not my favorite place for a burger. They are also known for their frozen custard which personally I am a not a "soft serve" ice cream kinda gal - But I do love their turtle sundaes thoug...with extra pecans!

The best place to get Cheese Curds outside of Wisconsin. Great shakes and can't go wrong with the Butter-Burgers or the Cod Filet sandwich.

We had just finished up another free blues concert at the Burpee Museum (there are 3 left for the…read moreseason!) which is every Wednesday at 5:30 pm, and I was looking for a quick desert. This place got the nod. When you walk in, you walk towards the back of the place, and then find someone to order your ice cream. They had a bunch of flavors, but one of them caught my eye (okay, several did, but I had to cut back). I went with their Cheesecake special, which was their cheesecake ice cream with strawberries, blueberries and graham cracker crust mixed in, in a cup. The counter person grabbed a large chunk of cheesecake ice cream (larger than I expected), and maneuvered it to the cold stone. There she worked in the graham cracker crust, the strawberries (2) and blueberries (around 8) into the ice cream mix. Then she placed it carefully into a cup, stuck in a spoon, and I paid for the mixture. I only had to wait a few minutes to be served, and they had a lot of customers. Seating is available inside, so we grabbed a seat and ate the ice cream. It was pretty good. The place is your typical ice cream place - pictures of product on the walls, and ice cream in the freezer cases in front of you. Honestly, if you are looking for good ice cream you can stop here and get some.

I'd have to say that my first time to Cold Stone Creamery was an experience. I asked a little…read moreabout their ice cream and if it was made on the premises. Yes in fact it was. The staff was very knowledgeable about the product, and very friendly. I even got free tastes. A plus! I chose the Jello Banana Pudding flavor in a waffle cone. Very rich, creamy, and delicious! The store was clean, and very well managed. I believe their prices were a bit steep, but in today's economy...it's understandable!
