There's also a store called "Pop Up Newport" that sold some great smelling lotions and soaps, as well as Panera's which was a great place to stop for a cold drink and a break from the heat. I also love that there is a separate parking lot for shoppers and if you make a purchase anywhere in the mall, you can get your parking ticket validated and get the first hour for free. Otherwise, I think it was $4 for every half hour. We were there for about an hour and a half and paid $5 for parking, which wasn't too bad, considering what other places charge and that finding meters to park at can be challenging in the middle of the busy summer season!

Acres of meadows, towns, and villages across the soaring Jamestown-Verrazano Bridge peering over the sparkling waterfront of Narragansett Bay. This is where I would love to spend my retirement overlooking the beautiful scenaries and quiet towns. We took a photo break to capture the landscapes and ocean views. There were some galleries, stores, and boat & ferry rentals in the area. A small table with a sale sign caught my eye featuring strands of colorful beads and jewelry. The earrings and bracelets were very pretty showcasing their beautiful craftsmanship. I couldn't find the letter charm necklaces. :( I found a few trinkets and pins for my grandma. She'll definitely love a piece of New England's charm.

But no biggie. Several items on sale throughout the store and not to much out of stock. We picked up breakfast yogurt, berries, milk, cereal, fruit, bread, cheese/sandwich meat, hummus and some baby carrots. Very happy not to have to travel off the island to get groceries for a couple of days.

The store is jam packed with tons of cool things. The record shop next door is insanely great as well. Please give this store a try! We happened to park near Frazzleberries, which I'd consider a more upscale souvenir shop. They have lots of high-quality goods -- gifts, magnets, clothing, etc. I was looking at a different shirt when a friend pointed out one that was SUPER soft. I tried it on and was immediately sold. The fit, the material, all great, and at a reasonable price. I want to say $35? I also bought a very nice Newport magnet at the checkout counter. A very successful visit!
