I have found that their mid-grade petrol really makes my engine purr like a kitten, providing superior mileage and loads of driving fun. I don't know what their secret sauce is. But I know it works. Since my friend is somewhat superstitious, she insisted on trying a new place to purchase lottery tickets. We have an ongoing competition to see who will be the first to be a winner. My friend heard that Cumberland Farms had a huge amount of winners for the Connecticut lottery so we decided to give them a try. We entered the store and were very fortunate that they weren't long lines. The store was fully stocked, well organized, and clean. The staff was helpful and patient. Not the best coffee in the world, but they have all of the ingredients for me to make it my own. And for $.99 at any size it's perfect. Soft drinks from the fountain are also $.99. I don't really buy many snacking options, but they are widely available. And, if you happen to still use Redbox, there is one in front of the entrance. read more

This place is a joke! Stop in for gas ($60) and then go inside to grab a sandwich and water because I just left work and was hungry...after 1am and no is open! 2 people in front of me pay with $20 bills...I get to the cashier who was gone for 5-7 minutes before the first guy bought his cigarettes...but we all wait patiently! I get to the her and she rings me up for 9.35. I had some larger bills and only 9 singles so i give her a $50 and she says sorry I don't have change for that! Umm ok but the 2 guys in front of me just game you $40...she says it's late and she had to put all the $20 in the safe so they lose any money ....you just lost my $9 good bye ...this is what happens when you some guy/girl sitting in an office trying to pinch a few pennies and loses dollars! read more

Overall its a decent place...been there many times. Coffee area is generally clean and inviting, bathroom is generally OK (not always. Often needs attention), parking can get tight at times, pricing is what you would expect from that type of place, but sometimes the employees are not friendly. Yes, they always say something like "hello" when you get inside, but some employees (such as Kathy...maybe Kathie) are not pleasant, are disrespectful, condescending, and forget they are "overhead" and clients represent "profit." She seriously needs attitude adjustment instruction. Other Cuberlands we've been to generally have better attitudes. read more

Over the past year on two separate occasions the lady who I believe told me she was the manager was beyond rude as if she hated being there. First time I interacted with her I paid for my stuff with a twenty dollar bill and she gave me back my change that had a Five dollar bill that was half way ripped. I told her I wanted a bill that was not ripped, seeing how the bill that I gave to her was fully in tact. Her response with a dirty look was "well I have to take ripped bills so it's not my fault," with a terrible attitude. Second time I came in the same lady was working again. A different pleasant employee was the cash register and I asked if she could break a $20 bill for me because I needed one dollar bills and I'm a regular customer. The employee was pleasant and said it was no problem and she would accommodate me. At that moment the same manager overheard me ask for change and she ran over with an attitude and said "no, you have to buy something" with a dirty look on her face. I said fine and bought a 65 cent lime. She angrily took my twenty and said this is too big of a bill for a small item.
