I grabbed five and headed out -- only to be stopped by the manager, who informed me there was a limit of four boxes. What I should have asked was: is that four boxes per day, per person, per week, per month, per year... or per lifetime? Does the box policeman track these numbers, I wonder?? Last weekend I took five without any issue, so clearly the box police were off duty. His tone was curt, too, which didn't help. I need the boxes for a short-term project, so this is not something I do every week. Thank goodness. Fortunately, there are plenty of other liquor stores in the area. Yankee Spirits really has it all when it comes to wine and spirits. The store is large, clean, and…read morewell organized. The employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. They only had one register open during peak hours, but the associate was moving quickly to assist customers and kept the line moving. They've also apparently expanded into parking lot maintenance--at one point, a shopping cart was being used to fill a pothole outside. So, at the end of the day, they're clearly committed to making the best of every situation whether it be working short or working without asphalt.
