I was in need of a Straight truck with a big box, minimum opening of 100 by 100. Junior Bloodworth,…read morethe salesmen sent pictures with him measuring 101 by 102. We had phone conversations about the rear opening, it had to fit a customer's piece that is 96 by 96 so it's imperative the rear opening is larger than the standard 94 x 97. Long Story short, I prepaid for the truck, flew my driver down who never measured the rear of the truck like i asked. Drives back to CT, the truck is the standard 94 x 97 opening. I guess it's on me for trusting Junior wasn't a liar and that my driver did as i asked. Oh well, after 32 years in business I should have learned not to trust people.

Even though we bought the truck "as is" they fixed the a/c and charged us only for the parts. It was about $1,700 in labor. I feel like I should rate higher but the fact is, after three service visits for a constant regen problem, I have now taken the truck to another dealer where I will have to pay again for the service instead of getting these guys to do it for "free" So far, their "free" service has cost me over $14,000 in revenue edit* 110 days after purchase the truck died and needs a complete rebuild. Not really blaming the dealer but it is suspicious that the oil was changed when we bought the truck. First thing most buyers want is an oil sample. Should have been a big red flag. In the first 110 days this truck was in the shop for 30 days. not a good ratio. Just had a VP at their corporate office tell me that a promise made by the General Manager means nothing if they did not put it in writing. Avoid this company.

WORST SHOP EVER!!!!! Don't bring your truck here for service unless you want to be ripped off. I am…read morelocal to the Nashville area. I've brought my truck to Velocity Truck center on 2 different occasions and moving forward I'll take my truck anywhere BUT here for service. The first time I came here they didn't fix what I had requested and said they couldn't find a problem.... Ok that happens sometimes. The second and final time ( Last Week 10/25/2022) I requested an estimate for installation of some 4" lights (two facing forward and two facing back towards the trailer) and heated wiper blades. I had already bought all the lights and accessory parts needed so the quote was only for the labor. They quoted me $3,040.18 to do the job. ABSOLUTLEY NOT GOING TO PAY 3K FOR THIS!!! Of course I said no way. I requested to have the valves adjusted, change the engine air filter, and some other miscellaneous issues. Come to find out they NEVER CHANGED MY AIR FILTER!!!!!! I went to pick up the truck and they tell me I have a balance of over $500 for providing an estimate of installing the lights and the heated wipers. I argued with them and said never in my life have I ever had to pay for an estimate. The service advisor says that's a loose interpretation of what they mean. He says that it's really how much time the Tech has in looking into doing the job. UMMMMM how long did he spend looking at it? because even at $200 an hour for shop rates that's over 2 hours to evaluate the job and there's no reason that it should take that long. They ended up lowering it down to $395.89 and said that's the best they can do and I can pay it or leave my truck there. After arguing and paying for the bill, I go to the truck to leave and discovered they had left the fuse box open and the panel just thrown down in the back, my batteries were dead and I had to ask someone for a jump, and they didn't even bother to put some fifth wheel grease on my fifth wheel. Every shop I've ever been to has at the very least greased the fifth wheel. I've provided pictures of the paperwork as proof of all of this. They didn't fix the issues I had asked them to, charged me $500 to estimate the (ridiculously high) cost of installing lights, tore my truck up and left it in bad condition and dead, and were extremely rude when I brought up my concerns over these issues. They are not a good quality shop, they definitely show ZERO RESPECT for the drivers. They only seem to care about getting as much money for the least amount of work as possible... DONT USE THIS SHOP unless you want poor quality work at a very expensive rate!

My driver took my 2019 Freightliner Cascadia DD13 in because the Aftertreatment System indicator light came on. After holding my truck for 9 hours with little communication, they told me I needed a DEF pump. To make a long story short, they sent me an invoice for a whopping $2800 to change the DEF pump and that was with a discount. Let me remind you they charge over $250 per labor hour and they exaggerate the time it takes to make repairs. Knowing $2800 was absolutely ridiculous because I do many repairs on my own, I called Love's and they quoted me $1500 for parts and labor. After sitting at Velocity overnight waiting on a quote, I paid $510 for a diagnostic fee then I took my truck to Love's and they had me in and out in 3.5 hours including their own diagnostic tests to ensure the DEF pump was the issue. Essentially, I saved nearly 50% of the costs by going to Love's instead of Velocity for the exact same repair. This is the second time Velocity inflated the cost of repairs. Back in June of 2024, Velocity in Alabama charged me nearly $5000 for some fairly straightforward repairs that had to be redone when I got home. I will not be returning to Velocity, and I definitely don't recommend this shop to anyone looking for honest, timely service.

They did a great job, pulled out of the parking lot to leave and the problem was even worse so I pulled over they came back And we went over the truck. Come to find out It was the air hose leaking that was coming off of the intake manifold going to the air charge cooler. It's Saturday afternoon all the parts stores are closed. Josh put together an amazing contraption using my old hose and some PVC pipe and was able to get me going. These guys are the best.

I happened to find Busted Knuckles on my phone closeby and called them up to see if they could help me, being after hours. Josh had told me his shop was already closed , but i really needed to get this thing fixed. He told me i could come by his house if i had the part on me and he would help me fix it anyhow. So i went to parts store and picked up what i thought would be right u-joint. But wouldn't you know it, they gave me wrong one at parts store. We didn't know it was wrong until we got old one off and tried to install the one i got from the store. So, in freezing cold windy night weather, Josh said not to worry, that he would drive me up to parts store personally and he'd make sure we got the right one. Well, that's exactly what happened. It was a tricky situation, since the parts store had about 7 u-joints listed for this vehicle. He made sure the old one he took off looked exactly like the new one at parts house. We drove back to his house in his personal car, he and his son put on the u-joint in freezing cold windy weather, and i was on my way again to Ky. I just can't say enough about this guy's willingness to help out a stranger in need, when i needed help ! You are my go- to -guy if ever this situation arises again when i'm in the area my friend!! Thank you again!!
