Easy to give a 5 star review here. I own a coffee shop, so please heed this review if you are looking for a great, traditional coffee house. I had a house coffee. Ethiopia Guatemala blend, light roast. Very very good. If they roast their beans, they know what they are doing. I brought my Baristas here after a camping trip. Everyone enjoyed their coffee! Great job! One note. The server at the register was a bit lacking in her explanation to one of my Baristas as to why he couldn't get a large size cappuccino. I get it that you have your way to doing things, and you appear to do them very well. But perhaps keep in mind that we customers don't always understand your menu right away. I can't believe something like this popped up in Brevard! Ok, so I'm a sucker for a cute independent coffee shops, but this is almost too good to be true. Coffee - Top notch. Cortado and cappuccino were smooth and with depth. French press was excellent. Iced latte was a bit too "soft" (I like the shots to come through with more edge, but this was very smooth.) Baked goods - scones are good. Quiche was also fine. Food - I have ordered a few sandwiches..they are not my favorites (not too interesting or exceptional, but good quality stuff) , but it's a good option when everything else in downtown is too busy. Atmosphere - Spacious, clean, slightly modern + a bit of vintage (silverware), interesting looking tables and cute chairs. Service - is good, although it can take long to order as there were only 2 people. Overall, this scores very high and I'm a sucker for cute independent coffee shops in small town..so 5 stars :) read more

This is such a good coffee shop. I get just straight lattes with no sweetners or anything and they make it just the way I like it. Temperature is just right, microfoam is perfect, espresso is great. First thing's first, the maple walnut scone was absolutely delectable. Obviously someone knows what they are doing regarding the pastries. However, the quiche and frittata was fairly underwhelming and the service was a bit slow even though we were the only customers in line. While it was appreciated that the business was dutiful to upholding covid precautions, our presence seemed to be a bit unwelcome. This is just a delightful coffee shop, that feels comfortable and welcoming. The food is outstanding in the C&S Mercantile, and you can order straight from the coffee shop to eat. Definitely go around the corner and shop the Mercantile for kitchen goods and gifts for any foodie in your life. Despite this place not appearing when I searched for all my usual keywords (gluten free, local, organic), it looked like a good place to work and had free wifi. So I walked in with low expectations, and was delighted to find that they also served food sourced from local farms when possible, had gluten free and vegan options, delicious chai, and extremely tasty and yet still affordable food! Wonderful addition for downtown Brevard. It is the best coffee experience to be found. Have tried all of the other coffee spots and they pale in comparison to Cup and Saucer. Was driving thru the town after hiking and needed a coffee. So lucky to have found this place! Delicious cappuccino (6oz size which is perfect in my opinion). The barista told me of the size so if 6oz isn't your thing, you are informed up front! The espresso/milk combo was perfect. Wish I was staying longer in town instead of passing thru! Cup & Saucer is the first of its kind of gourmet coffee to come to Brevard ! All of the staff is very well educated and knowledgeable on the art of coffee. Everything is made from scratch including their flavored syrups. All of their dairy is local and they offer a multitude of alternative milks as well. Great coffee. I had a decaf iced oat milk latte that was smooth with a nice caramel flavor to the espresso. My husband really liked his hot latte. The barista said it was made with local milk which is fun! My daughter enjoyed her salted chocolate chip cookie. Lots of homemade goodies--the emphasis throughout seemed to be "clean" and "local." The best place to get a cup of coffee in Brevard. This shop does everything well, from great specialty coffee (they serve Methodical but also often have guest roasters), to friendly baristas, to an excellent aesthetic and vibe. They do have light pastries for food but ultimately, you're going here again and again for the great cup of coffee. read more
