Beautiful and clean location. Food was good, eggs were cooked good, however, and the monkey bread was a bit dry, but there was a layer of sauce that helped, wish it had a bit more. The missing "star" was the service. We could not get our server for 30 minutes. We tried to flag her down a few times, but I think that she forgot about us. She only came to us once she was told that another couple sat down in her section. We spent in total from check-in to leave about two hours and 15 minutes, for refrence we only waited 20 minutes for a table, the rest of the time it was on the kitchen and server to turn our table. The flow of customers was interesting as well as it felt like there was a line for the bar and people were just staring at us while eating our food and asking us if where they were standing was a line for the bar to get drinks. It was our first time so I couldn't really help anyone else unfortunately. But I feel like there did need to be clearer signage if there was an option to go up to the bar and grab drinks while you wait for your table. We found Morning Social the first morning of our trip to the area and LOVED it! We loved the food and the service so much, we went back the next morning. He had the Ham Eggs Benedict both days and I tried the Farmhouse Skillet at Hannah's recommendation on the first day. One of the best skillets I have ever had- and then a make your own omelet (because the ham was so good in the Eggs Benedict) with ham, green peppers and cheddar- fabulous! I am so glad that we discovered this spot for brunch on our first morning in town! I must say though, it is not the easiest place to find, we turned around not once, but twice and ultimately decided to just park the car and get out and walk and it was just by chance we saw the very small sign on the side of the building with the name of the restaurant as the actual entrance is not directly on King Street. Once we entered the building, we were greeted by a friendly hostess and promptly seated in booth. Our server was friendly and attentive and was helpful when I was struggling to decide on my meal. I ordered the corned beef bowl and wow, I think that was probably the best corned beef that I have ever had! I do wish the rest of the bowl would have been more flavorful/better seasoned though. This place is worth the wait. Went for Sunday brunch and it was a 40 minute wait for a party of two. The setting is cute and rustic with inside and outside seating. We took a quick walk into town as a way to kill time. We got back and were seated. The hostess is lovely and our server was delightful. Knowledgeable, attentive and responsive, The food is amazing! We went here around 930 on a Sunday. Our service was perfection and if you are heading out with your dog this is the perfect spot. Our waitress was very quick to get our fur baby a bowl of water and they were totally unphased when he threw up some grass on the patio behind our table. There are a number of places to wait outside in the beautiful weather or even go for a stroll while you wait for a table. My salmon toast was good but I wish it had more horseradish cream cheese on it. My sister's skillet with chorizo was very tasty and we all enjoyed the nitro cold brew coffees we got. No lattes here but we barely missed them with the cold brew coffees. I would definitely return to morning social in the future. Stopped here on the way back home from a vacation in Brevard with my wife, kid and our German Shepherd/Malinois. There was a 45 minute wait, so we walked up to the main street area and I got some fresh roasted coffee beans, walked through the cool Mantiques shop and got my kid some silver coins, and took turns going into some others shops. It was worth the wait as the outside area was Dog Friendly (5 out of 5 bones!), the waitress was super friendly, and the food was pretty good. My kid got the kids order of pancakes, which were big, and my wife got the French toast. The pancake was a little drier than typical buttermilk cakes, and the French toast were huge, thick slices with lots of powdered sugar. She said the bread was soo thick that the inside was dry. What they both said was that the syrup was amazing and soaking the bread in it made them tasty. I ordered a Salmon, Feta, and Spinach Omelet, with grits and a biscuit. It was great - the eggs were firm but fluffy, the salmon wasn't overcooked, and the feta was melted without being burnt. The biscuit was really good - my wife wishes she had just ordered a couple of those instead. The Grits were Amazing! They are some red stone mill something grits, and you can buy them inside or online - but the waitress said they cook them in milk as well. They were by far the best grits I have had. We go-to the Brevard area almost yearly, and will stop by here again for sure. Next time it will be biscuits, grits and eggs though! read more

What a delicious breakfast! Despite it being prime Sunday brunch hour, the wait was only about 20 minutes. We were able to grab a coffee from the bar and wait outside. Everyone we encountered was extremely pleasant. The biscuit was good, nothing special like other reviews indicated. But the homemade jam with it was exceptional . The hash browns had a side of a dill crème sauce. I ordered extra to pair with my corned beef hash bowl. Hubby ordered southwest burrito that he raved about! We would def return. On a warmer day, waiting outside wouldn't have been an issue, but most of our party huddled inside the door while I took the kids outside to burn off some energy. The menu has a decent amount of options, and it was apparent that each dish is well prepared in it's contents and presentation. There are some standard breakfast offerings, as well as some interesting bowls and skillets. The kids menu has enough for most kids, and ours selected a pancake. The food was all delicious, and I can see why there was a wait - it's worth it. Everyone had a great meal, and we all agreed that we'd like to come back another time to try the lunch menu and beer offerings. Food was as delicious as always, and Sunday brunch at Morning Social is one of those treats we look forward to in Brevard--it's pretty much the go-to spot here. The location is fantastic, and we genuinely want them to do well and thrive. Having worked in food service for over 15 years, I get it. The job is tough, there are ups and downs, and customers can be impossible. But it's a part of the business. I was a bit disappointed seeing the manager and bartender being passive-aggressive with a few customers. I've worked with ornery bartenders in the past but they generally had some redeeming essence of customer service. It was tough to watch the bartender and barback openly complaining about customers behind the bar, which is normal and healthy, just don't do it in front of customers while you're on shift man. It's awkward to see other patrons hearing that. That said, I still think Morning Social is a great spot, and I'm rooting for them.
