Love seeing Cupbop opening more spots in the Boise area. The ability to mix & match proteins, helps make this a spot you can't get tired of. I went with the combo bop, adding tangy fried chicken & Korean bbq beef. Spice level I got a 5, which was moderate spice (could have went little higher). This location was also offering free Mandoo with any review!

I ordered the beef/ pork combo bowl and thought it was pretty tasty and healthy. It's also a good value for your money at $10.75.

I've had takeout from here on many occasions and it's always good. Chose the pulled pork sandwich, Carolina style, which was delicious. Soft, good roll. Fresh coleslaw, and lots of pork. Great overall sandwich. My side of choice was the sweet potato fries. Decent portion and yummy, fried well, fries. Would repeat. Just next time with a beer :-)

We tried a mix of meats, and there was plenty to like. The pulled pork stood out as the best of the bunch--tender, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for from good BBQ. The spicy BBQ sauce was a highlight too: it's got a real kick--hot in a fun, nostalgic way, like a high school pool party where things get a little wild but in the best sense. The tri-tip was decent, though it leaned a bit young and could've benefited from a touch more time or seasoning to really shine. The chicken was cooked nicely--juicy and not overdone--but felt like it needed a little extra smoky pizzazz to stand out. On the plus side, the buns were excellent across the board, soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. Service was top-notch--friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Overall, a really pleasant lunch spot with some strong offerings and a great atmosphere. I'd say it would absolutely earn a nod of approval from my  St. Louis BBQ grandpa and his crew from Wells-Goodfellow--satisfying, honest barbecue with a few standout bites and a good time to go with it.

Today we went with our…read moreusual comfort food/BBQ choices- my son got the chicken fried steak, it was a hearty portion, with mashed potatoes and gravy, and I got the pulled pork with steak fries. We also ordered a side of the Mac and cheese, and creamed corn and for our appetizer we got the cornbread basket and potato skins. Let's start by saying we came on a Saturday right around lunch time, and while they were busy, we were promptly seated and our server came quickly to take our drink order. Service was diligent, friendly, and overall very good, and our server was honest and made great recommendations. The restaurant itself is very nice and it's a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a meal. The food- cornbread was different, but flavorful- it had peppers and corn in the muffins. The potato skins were delicious and a huge serving. My son loved his chicken fried chicken and only ate half of his serving, so it made two meals, which is not common for him, but it was a big serving. My pulled pork was tender, flavorful, and lean- the BBQ sauce was good too, which is always a positive. The Mac and cheese was creamy and full of flavor too- but the creamed corn (we have never had it before) must be an acquired taste, I think it had tons of flavor, but just not a fan personally. Overall, we really enjoyed our mother and son lunch date, and are excited to come back again and try more things. They have a big menu, and also serve drinks and desserts. We love that it's locally owned and you can truly tell they care about their patrons. We definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for good comfort food, and great service.
