bulgogi rice bowl and galbi rice bowl
    Angie H.

This place was okay... We tried the bulgogi with rice and the galbi with rice. The bulgogi was a little too sweet for my taste, and the galbi pieces were way too fatty. For $15-20 per bowl, it honestly felt kind of like a rip-off. Overall, I'd say it's just a decent Korean food spot.

The chicken was good, but a little dry. And the tteokbokki wasn't as flavorful as the freezer version my wife buys from Trader Joe's. The ambiance was pretty inviting and the windows are nice and large. The people there are pretty nice, but kinda standoffish. Kind of an awkward experience overall. I probably won't be coming back.

Had a lunch date w/my daughter before she heads back to college. Super cute place in downtown Boise. Staff super friendly. Food is delicious. If you like spicy - this is the place for you. Lots of variety and combo dishes. Prices are reasonable. Definitely be back.

The perks of working downtown is all the fun food joints. It's been a hot minute since I have been to Seoul St. Cafe. The last time I came was when it first opened. This joint is only a block from my work so I headed here for some food. I came at a later time so it was slow. It was nice not to have to deal with the lunch rush. The young man at the register took my order and got my drink started for me. I ordered a strawberry lychee lemonade. For food I got a spam musabi and jachae. The strawberry lychee lemonade was really refreshing. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and tartness to it. The spam musabi was freshly made. The seaweed was crispy, it had a hearty amount of rice and a good chunk of spam. It was good but it would have been nice to have the spam cooked in the sweet sauce vs just warning up the spam and drizzling the sauce over it. The japchae was hot! It had fantastic pieces of veggies, beef and egg. It was savory with the right amount of sesame oil. I got a side of it and it was a nice amount! I'm happy I stopped in today to grab a quick meal. I'm looking forward to going back to grab the galbi ribs!

This place smells like walking into my mom's kitchen! It's a cute place on the corner that is very clean and has outdoor seating. We've been a few times and we love it every time. We've tried the fried spicy K-chicken, bulgogi kimbap, bulgogi and rice, Tteokbokki, Rabokki. Joomukbap, and the fried dumplings. Everything we've tried has had amazing flavor. The Tteokbokki was a perfect balance of soft and chewy and the flavor was perfect. The dumplings were awesome and the bulgogi was good as well. I did not try the fried chicken, but my kids really liked it and they've grown up with Korean food. The only thing that one of the kids wasn't a big fan of was the Rabokki, and it's only because it is one flavor throughout the entire dish. It's basically the Tteokbokki sauce on the ramen as well so it just ended up being too much of the same thing especially since it was pretty dense. It still tasted delicious and we took leftovers home for the rest of the kids to try. I haven't tried any of the DIY ramen bowls but they have several options to choose from. We also have not tried the teas or smoothies but I will try one next time we stop in. Best part about this restaurant is the owners and they actually prepare the food. They were both so pleasant and we enjoyed chatting with them. They put a lot of heart into this food and it shows! So if you're craving some Korean home cooking or even something new, you should give this place a try!

Korean short-ribs with a bed of rice. Looks small but will fill you up.

This place is a hidden gem on the edge of Boise Downtown. Service was great and the food was 10/10. Im looking forward to tasting everything on this menu.

Wow! Awesome spot with excellent Korean Food! A great variety of traditional dishes, along with some main street food! Place is very clean and food is made to order but still very quick. Not a whole lot of seating during high times like lunch but a great find. Prices are very decent for the food you get! Musubi, Spicy Pork, Kimchi are all on point! Throw in the fact they have Boba Tea. This place is great all around food, feels like I am back in Osan!

    Bulgogi kimbap! Pretty good

Cute little korean street food Cafe! The ambience was cute and staff kind. The food was decent! They had the basics, and nothing tasted off or terrible. I especially enjoyed the bulgogi kimbap and the fish cake soup. There's also a cute picture machine to have fun with friends for a price. I'll come back whenever I have a quick craving for korean food. Go try it out!

    Sseodeok

I'm from Seattle and miss all the Korean restaurants there, so I go to Seoul Street every time I have a sseodeok craving. I love this place and have liked everything I've tried here, but I have to dock one star because the atmosphere is always really awkward. The menu is pretty wordy and not clearly organized into food/meal combo/beverage/dessert sections so you have to go right up to the register to read it, and the employees always stand right at the register and stare at you while you read the menu which makes me feel really pressured. I usually end up just getting the same thing I've gotten before because I feel pressured to give my order quickly, even when there's nobody else in the restaurant. Maybe it's just a personal problem, but I've never tried their drinks or desserts for this reason. My advice is to take your time looking at the menu online before you go in and then take your food to go.

Really good flavors. They charged for kimchi and didn't give enough rice which is why I didn't score it higher. Service took a little longer than expected and it seemed to be warmed up instead of being cooked or kept in a warmer.

Korean fast food style place. Pleasant room but not fancy. The food is tasty and spicy enough for us. A nice find in downtown Boise
