We stumbled upon this cookie bar while visiting Houston, and it turned out to be such a great find. The cookies are delicious soft, warm, and way more tender than expected. The golden brown crust made them look like they might have a bit of crunch, but they're actually very soft and almost melt in your mouth. They're also thick and substantial, not your typical thin cookie. We ordered the oatmeal raisin, Oreo, banana foster, and snickerdoodle. Each flavor stood out on its own, and you can really taste the quality ingredients in every bite. The banana foster was especially rich and indulgent, while the Oreo had the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. Overall, everything felt fresh, homemade, and thoughtfully made.
Tried a few cookies and while they were large in size, I felt like they were similar to crumbl, very thick and cake-like, which I don't prefer. Also tried the ice cream they sell from underground creamery and the flavors were spot on, but too sweet and very busy with all the mix ins. If you're a fan of lots of sugar, this spot is the place for you.

Ordering a share box gets you a dozen cookies and they're huge. In terms of ranking the cookies I got this time around I believe from best to worst is: Bonanza Brulee - Absolutely amazing. A family favorite! This one is a banana foster and creme brulee fusion that has us all hooked Red Velvet - For red velvet lovers like myself, this was a great choice. So smooth! Winter Mint-er land (Seasonal) - I love mint cookies so this was a no brainer. Not overpowering, just the perfect amount of mint-ness! I do have to note that I couldn't put this in my initial order online. Luckily they were happy enough to swap out one of my cookies from my online order to this seasonal one. The others were in my opinion, okay. Not to say they were bad but not sure if I'd get them coming here again. Campfire Graham (Seasonal) Sugar Baby Pecan with salted caramel I've had their 'Big Oreo' previous times and remember very much enjoying their twist of cookie n'cream with white chocolate drizzled on top. Good luck parking here though. I absolutely hate this shopping strip. It's a struggle to find parking here as its always filled up. This shop has I believe 2 dedicated parking spots for people coming in which helps. Overall though, I love this cookie shop and heavily recommend it!

The only con for this establishment is the parking lot that is shared with other businesses. I highly recommend this place. My friends and family visit from out of town and are hooked as well.

Instead of searching up places, I looked up and there was Pudgy's Fine Cookies. I walked in and was greeted by the host. She gave me the low down on each cookie and pointed out the fan favorites. I only like a certain kind of cookie so I knew I was getting the chocolate chip and the Oreo cookie. Each cookie was $5, which I think is insane for the size, but, I was already there so I got two. They even have lactaid pills on deck for the lactose intolerant folks, like me. I went home and ate both cookies. I wasn't wowed but they were decent enough and satisfied my craving. Staff were friendly, the shop smelled so good and was very clean! Worth checking out.
Do you love, large chewy and crunchy cookies? This place in the Heights has an amazing variety of cookies and pastries for your hearts desire. They also have some cute merch that you can browse through while you wait to order in the queue from the staff. The wait is not very long and the staff is more than happy to help answer any questions as far as dietary restrictions and allergies, I tried the pistachio cookie and my friend had the banana crème brûlée the cookies are large enough to share and I'd recommend trying a couple and it's great for groups of friends or an intimate date night. They pack the cookies in a cute small box for you to take on the go and they travel well.

The Pudgy-dare I say, this could be a Levain dupe- has more texture throughout the cookie, but is very sweet. This is a cookie to split or even enjoy a quarter at a time. The service is very quick, and there's tons of parking in the shared plaza.
This place had very yummy cookies--crisp on the edges and soft and gooey in the middle. Service here is quick and lines move fast. The space itself is pretty small though--not much room to sit down and enjoy the cookies. We got four different cookies to try: Banana Brulee, Red Velvet, Campfire, and Oreo. The Banana Brulee was definitely a fan favorite. It wasn't too sweet and was the right ratio of gooey and crisp. The campfire (kinda like s'mores) was a bit too sweet for everyone's taste, but it's chunky and comes with lots of goodies. The Oreo was just that, oreo. The red velvet was cakier than the other cookies and came with some cream cheese frosting.
A cute little shop, just a few minutes away from MKT, and well worth the stop. This has been on my list forever, but it was always closed at the hours I was in the area - the stars finally aligned! The staff were friendly and helped make a cookie choice. Double chocolate. The cookie was ahhhhmaaaazing. They live up to their tag - "thick af." I truly wish this was much closer because it was such an amazing indulgence. I will say for those picky about their cookies, it was a little on the dry side, but that just took a little milk to rectify. read more
Based on all the reviews I wanted to enjoy the cookies but I just didn't. Not sure if we went on an off day or something but the cookies were just okay. I like the texture of the chocolate chip but it didn't have much going for it. The iced sugar cookie was not great. The icing was good but the cookie itself was awful it was dry and tasted like it might have been a couple of days old. I just wasn't impressed. These some big thick cookies. I really enjoyed the s'mores cookie but I tried their chocolate chip, sugar cookie, and Oreos cookies and cream. I guess I am more into the cookies when they're fresh. I did not eat them when they were fresh. The chocolate chip cookie was rich with the chocolate chip chunks. They have nice packaging for their box. These cookies are definitely shareable. read more

The customer service is great and everything comes out fast, but I've been going here for the past a year and a half and recently the cookie quality has declined. I've had cookies that were too salty and some just taste off, which sucks because this was a great place read more

Oh my god, this was a heavenly cookie experience. The seasonal Blueberry Cheesecake was my absolute favorite, the cream cheese frosting was great. I also liked the seasonal Me Espresso! Overall their cookies are so gooey and thick, yet also really flavorful. Would def come back. read more

I was in the heights area and stopped by for dessert and I was satisfied with the sweetness level of these cookies, the chewiness, the crisp on the edges of the cookies. Wow !!! What a place. We drove over from the Northwest area and it did not disappoint. Bring one to the Cypress area. The parking is limited so you might have to be patient but the cookies were so good. They are different type of food/ cookie than their competitors. They are service was with a smile and a Pudgy warm welcome. It's a small place. Grab and go. No sit down seating. Please show this establishment some love , you will not be disappointed. read more
The cookies are SO MOIST and flavorful. They're perfect to share after a nice lunch or dinner. The bonanza brûlée was my personal favorite because I love bananas, but the extra rich double chocolate cookie was a close second. They're not as heavy as crumbl cookies too, which I appreciated. I like how cute the store is. They have a small seating area too, but not enough space to actually eat inside. Okayyy Pudgy's can take my money any day! As a crumbl hater, I was very nervous. But omg the cookies are perfect and not too sweet. Which makes it a perfect canvas to play with different flavors and icing! I went with my two sisters (who aren't cookie fans) and two nieces and let me tell you... our box was finished The service was great, I can't recall her name but she was very patient and suggested her favorite flavors. read more
OMG if you haven't been, have to check out this random cookie spot in a dumpy-ish mini mall. Saw it featured on Chris Shepherd's Eat Like a Local. So far our favorites are the Double Trouble one and the City of Gold (believe it's a seasonal one). Without a doubt, check it out. Puts Crumbl to shame. read more
I love this chocolate chip cookie! It's crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. To my surprise it was also filled with chocolate so when you pull it apart it has an intense chocolate flavor. 10/10 would recommend trying it out. As far as I know it's one of kind, since there is only 1 location as far as I know. They have many options of cookies and different cookies weekly. The staff was exceptional! A warm welcome and great conversation about the different flavors! I loved that. We tried the campfire, double trouble, and peanut butter. Though all are super good, we both favored the double trouble!! They're large so good for sharing! You get a discount if you buy a pack of 4 and 6. There's a small parking lot so you shouldn't have an issue with that. There's no indoor seating but two small tables outside! Super cute shop and delicious cookies with excellent staff! read more
Probably the best variety of cookies I've tired so far!!! I was looking for a new cookie place to try and came across this place in the heights and I absolutely loved it. I have tried it 3x now with different people and everyone always has great things to say!! The cookies are always served warm and the presentation is always nice. They are decently priced for such delicious and THICK cookies. No wonder their sign says "thick af". Their cookies are definitely worth the price in my opinion. The chocolate chip itself (the pudgy) and the velvet love are always simple but big hits in my opinion! The staff is always so friendly and efficient. I love how they say "have a pudgy day". Parking spots are narrow but plenty of spots as people are always coming and going in the small shopping strip. You can also order ahead and pick up the cookies but can also just walk in and order. After dinner with my sister and her friend last night, I accompanied my sister to Pudgy's before we made our way back north. If I had not been too full from dinner/craving cake over pudgy cookies, I would have gotten one myself, but at least I have another reason to come back into the city in the future! The shop is very small, and located next to a vape store (lol, I wonder if that was planned!) but the cookie collection was marvelous. They definitely looked large and pudgy! The woman at the counter greeted us warmly and when my sister went with the Oreo flavor, she asked if that was all with a smile. After she boxed up my sister's cookie in the cutest little box, she said "have a pudgy night!". That was the best part, haha! read more

This is such a cute concept! The worker walked me through their entire menu. He was so sweet and patient as I decided which cookies to order. The cookies were delicious. I like how they are both soft and crispy. In my opinion the regular chocolate chip cookie is the best one. The melted pieces of chocolate really set the cookie apart. It's a little pricey for what you get but the delicious cookies will make up for your bank account. Honestly save yourself the disappointment- don't get the s'mores cookie please read more

Came here randomly one night since I was craving a sweet fix and found this bakery. Lots of options even though it was 15 minutes from closing and cookie came out warm. Service was upper fast and friendly enough to tell me about the different flavors and which one were best sellers. I got the seasonal flavor of blueberry w corn flakes which was similar to a butter cookie with blueberry jam plus corn flakes. Really enjoyed the corn flakes but man are the cookies so huge I had to split into portions to enjoy. I remember I tried Pudgys at a NYE party YEARS ago during the pandemic and I'm so happy they have a storefront now! The location is beautiful even though you're just grabbing cookies. Service was great as well. As a self proclaimed Cookie Monster, I approve of these cookies! Oreo was my fav but the Briscoff was a close second! Hands down the best cookies in Houston. Period. I've waited for multiple visits here to write my review of this place because I wanted to be sure they were consistently good, and not just a lucky 1 hit wonder. After lots of "research," their cookies rain supreme! I've never had a bad cookie here, but my favorites include their original Pudgy's cookie, Banana Brulee, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Smore's cookies for their main flavors. Then they always have rotating seasonal flavors as well. Which my favorite seasonals have been their "Netflix and Chill," "It's My Jam," Thai Tea Latte, and my #1 favorite STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE. BRING BACK THE STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE cookies please!!! I'd come here for those alone. Regardless of the flavor though, their cookies are always THICK AF. Crisp on the outside, and gooey soft on the inside, literal perfection. Have you been searching for the best cookies in Houston? Look no further than Pudgy's. This spot has been on my list to try and I finally was around to go try and omg the place smells so good the fresh cookies coming out of the oven fills the air. I got the six pack of course wanted to try my favorite cookie flavors, I got oatmeal raisin, sugar, s'more's, Oreo, chocolate chip and macadamia nut. I didn't get to eat them in the spot when they were warm I ate them almost 6 hours later and they were still so soft and moist they melted into my mouth, absolutely loved these cookies. I may be 40 mins away from Pudgy's but I will definitely be coming back ! 10/10 read more
