The Cupertino union 76 service station automotive repair facility I can't find one problem with them. On a spur of the moment I took my van to get smog that has been sitting for a very long time without being used. The service man who helped me asked a few questions and informed me that since it's been sitting so long it's a good idea especially for a car this old to be driven on the freeway for 20 minutes. I went ahead and took his advice and came right back in 25 minutes. He then smog in the van even though he had a lot of other work to do. I think he fit me in between waiting for parts I guess. I guess he knew what he was talking about because the van ended up passing with flying colors. The workers in the garage really seem to be on the ball with what they were doing including helping me. A smog test site I used to go to shut down I guess because of COVID-19. This was the first time I use this place. I would go ahead and highly recommend them for smog in your vehicles. The price was reasonable and competitive with other places. Way to go 76! read more

The staff in this place are the rudest people ever! One of their employees, a man, scooted into the ladies room as I was making my way there. I said something to the cashier and her reply was to use the men's room as they are the same. NOT THE SAME!!! It was a dirty, filthy mess. Upon confronting the "man" when he came out of the women's restroom he proceeds to yell at me that he works there! He got in my face and everything! The owner came out and told me to leave because, hell yes I yelled back at him! Employees should know which restroom to use in the first place. Secondly, employees should put the customer first. Thirdly, no one deserves to be yelled at and kicked out because they have a crappy employee. The owner is just as much to blame. Never again! read more

The credit card system here doesn't work at the pump. You have to go inside, guess the amount of gas, prepay, go back outside, pump, then go back in and ask for more or get a refund. Furthermore, they also stop pumping at $50, regardless of how much you paid for. (And of course, they charge more for credit card than cash. But that's common.) read more

Love this Union 76 Station for several reasons. The staff is really welcoming and has kept it fastidiously clean. They also are very aware of everything and everyone in the store. Restrooms are clean and in a great location behind the front counter. The selection here is great in terms of snacks, drinks, and supplies. They carry a Califia Farms non-dairy yogurt smoothie that I've literally never seen in a service station, which was a nice surprise, and tiny bottles of Tajin for sprinkling on fresh fruit in the case. The employees at this place are not fit for autonomous thinking. My credit card suffered some kind of incident, and with only about $1.30 in cash, I was worried I might not be able to buy gas, which would have impeded my ability to get to the folsom street fair and clap eyes on some once-a-year horrors. Never fear, I've got google wallet on my phone! Or simpler yet, the clerk can simply punch in my credit card number and I'll be out of here in no time! Right? No dice. Not only is the clerk busy petting his cat (which is not a euphemism and was in fact sitting on the register) and looking sleazy, but when he does make time in his too-action-packed-for-customer-service schedule to see what the hell I'm doing standing in his store, he can't figure out how one would even begin to type in a credit card number. Nor has he heard of google wallet, or likely even google (though I didn't ask). To be fair, this is apple country. And no, I was not in (or out of) costume for the fair. My gas light was only just coming on as I pulled out to get out of customer condescension (aka apple) country and into a land more familiar with modern tools and more oriented toward customer service (aka google country)(Mountain View), and just to be safe I borrowed cash from a friend there, so I have no story about whether the same tactic would have worked at the Valero there. tl,dr: Folks here are too dumb to type in a credit card number. read more

Totally corrupt place here. Big guy behind the counter is totally ripping the business off. I go in to buy a couple of sodas. Firstly the sign says 85 cents. He says a dollar. Secondly he does not ring anything up on the cash register, he just looks at what I am getting and gives me a price, me being really thirsty, I pay it. Then he says hmm I'm confused how much do I give you back? I told him how much change, even though its his job. Then he pulls change out of his pocket and gives it to me. No receipt, no cash register, totally scandalous. Whoever the owner is of the gas station needs to look into his inventory counts and draw counts. I am willing to bet he/she will find a big gap in the bottom line. Plus this is not the first time this has happened to me here. Just saying. Rude, uninviting, and scandalous... The previous reviews about the moronic employees are correct. Not only are the employees incompetent they are also rude. Do not go to any Union 76 gas station in Cupertino, you will regret it. The problems seems to be limited to Cupertino, we've been to Union 76 gas stations hundreds of times, and never had a problem in any other city. read more

This place is no longer just a gas station. This is now a 7-Eleven with 76 gas. I never go into 7-11 because they are just plain gross. Stopped here for gas and needed to use the restroom...BAD. WOW! This place is awesome! It was so clean and inviting I actually browsed the store and was very impressed. This whole store is clean, well organized and the people seemed really nice and helpful. And, the food they had was really good. I would not normally eat at a 7-11, nor a gas station, but the friend I was traveling with got a hot pastrami sandwich. I was convinced to try it and, I gotta say, it was so good I ordered one for myself! This location has tri tip on Tuesdays and hot pastrami on Thursdays. Tammy (the person that helped me) said they are the only store that offers these sandwiches. She said they also have breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos and a bunch of other killer stuff you can't get at other 7-11's. Guess I'm going to have to make a trip back by here the next time I am in town and try some more food. Totally recommend that you stop by and give it a try too! read more

as an update, i'm almost done undoing the damage caused by Alan. If i were to add up how much it has truly cost, I think I would cry. I have to fix my car so I can get to school and work. so, the damage had to be undone. last week I went to the good mechanic that has been fixing alan's horrible mistakes and had him redo the timing belt and water pump and other seals that are located under the same cover. the good mechanic said that whoever did the last timing belt job should loose his certification to work on cars. he said that bolts were in spots where they should not be and were missing where they were needed. I'm glad that i didn't loose my engine due to Alan's poor quality parts and workmanship. the water pump is being replaced tomorrow with the mechanic that has been doing a good job (located at another shop.) lesson learned, go to shops that specialize in your car and check there yelp rating first!!! read more

I don't know about ALL the workers, but on Saturday I filled up a few gallons of gas here so I could take the freeway to a friend's party. Somehow, I actually managed to FORGET my wallet here after capping the gas tank and getting in my car. Come Monday, I'm confused and have no idea where my wallet could possibly be, and after 20 minutes of taking apart my car and room I thought of calling this place and unbelievably, my wallet was stored safely in the convenience store of the station, with nothing missing. I am completely baffled that none of the workers, or even whoever picked my wallet off the floor and turned it into 76 took any of the money or cards in my wallet. Thank you so much! read more

After ripoff by dealer service....the first 2 fix it experiences have been very positive.... considering my old clunker is a 92 MBZ. Allen, the mechanic, getz high marks + keeps me on the road in good fashion. As good as most independent MBZ shops...can fix anything.
