Came by for a fill-up the other day and it was a mediocre experience. This Valero is easy to get in and out of. It also featured Top Tier fuel. Cash pricing is a few cents cheaper than credit pricing. They have a car-wash on-site with premium pricing. The payment island sometimes work. I was having a bad day, not paying attention, and made a mistake--I drove away with the gas pump hose still attached to my car. The hose detached from the pump, and I gave the attendant my info. A couple of hours later, I drove by and saw that they had reattached the hose, and it was operational again. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and I find out they made an insurance claim against me for over $2,000. After reading online, I discovered that this price seems unusually high. I called my insurance company, and they told me that while it's within the range they've seen, it's definitely on the high end. It all depends on who the gas station uses to reconnect the hose. Some parts may need to be replaced, but a large portion of the cost is labor. I understand I made a mistake and am willing to pay for it, but when I see a claim this high, it doesn't feel fair. Not the same. This used to be my favorite gas station because of its lower prices for gas and car wash. Even when hmart came in across the street along with other businesses that brought a lot of traffic to this area, the prices were still low (thought over the years, car washes would go up by a dollar or two). Recently gas prices and car wash prices went way up. WAY UP. Yes they improved their car wash, but no way am I going to pay $27 for a drive thru car wash when I can get interior and exterior done BY HAND for $10 more at Santana Row. So I wasted another 25 minutes inside the store waiting around for someone who had no intention of helping me. This is a review for the car wash. During this Shelter at Home, my car was in need of bath. I remembered this gas station has a car wash, so I went over to see if it was opened, as many other car wash locations are closed. I drove up to the car wash and selected the type of wash I wanted and started to proceed into the car wash. Surprisingly, the car wash was pretty thorough. It would have been nice if the dryer lasted a full minute, but at least my car was clean. The price was good for the wash the car received. I'll be back. read more

It's not amazingly clean but good enough for me- it removed most of the dust and dirt. It's affordable, quick and convenient. I answered "yes" to the option of wanting a car wash or not when I was pumping gas here. I then joined the car wash line immediately afterward. I proceeded to the car wash line, which I could see was backing up. As I learned about 15 minutes later, the car wash broke down and people ahead were trying to exit. No problem, I would just plan to return a week later when I return from my trip. Upon my return, I discovered that my car wash ticket expired after seven days. I returned on the eighth day. I explained the broken car wash situation to the person at the cashier, telling them that the car wash was broken when I first went through and then I had to leave town for one week on business. He did not care and refused to discuss. No refund. No credit. Just ignored me and tended to the next customer. No refunds, no car wash after ticket expiration. This has been my go to Valero station for a while now. It helps break up my evening commute home when I have to do a fill up. Yesterday, for the first time, I got a $6 car wash here. For $6 it didn't create a perfectly clean car but my car was well overdue after not being washed for over a year. After all we are in California and we are in a drought, so no I am not crazy! Supposedly after purchasing 5 car washes here the 6th one is free but that requires going inside and I don't have time for that! This carwash breaks down or gets confused from time to time and would not start the washer when the car is inside. Sometimes, the cashier has a clue and can reset it to make it work again. But yesterday when the same issue happened to me, I called the woman working at the register for help. She simply blamed me that it was my own mistake -- apparently she didn't know how to reset the machine. There were 3 cars behind me. She told me to move my car out of the carwash to line up in the back again. Since I waited 20 minutes to get to that spot, I think not! So I simply demanded a refund. But she refused! She said that she could at most give me another code that is good for 7 days, which means if I want to use it, I would have to save that receipt, remember to revisit within a week, bring the receipt, and try my luck again! Sorry, even if I didn't have a job, I didn't want to be forced to return to the area again. And did she think that gas (for driving back there) is free? Or she thought that her carwash was a fancy tourist attraction that everyone should come back again and again? After a somewhat heated argument -- as I simply was mad that she kept saying that it was my own fault, I told her to call her manager. She again refused in the beginning but after wasting another 10 minutes, she reluctantly did so and apparently the manager decided to give me my money back. I pass by this station once in a while, but not regularly. I did notice that it has some of the lowest gas prices in the area, every time I check prices on my Gas Buddy mobile app. Yesterday I had to get gas and get a car wash, as I driver for commercial purposes too, so I need to get car washes rather frequently. Gas prices were great, for both cash and credit (little higher), although the pump was rather slow.... The car wash is one of the cheapest around, $5 express, $6 deluxe, and $8 for the premium option. I went for the $6 option. You can also get a Buy-5-Get-1-free carwash card in the store (not at the pump), and the clerk reminds you to save all your receipts to show all 5 when it's time to redeem. I'll look forward to coming back again for more gas and my next car wash! read more

stay far away from these guys! their pump was very very slow to fill, which is indicative of a clogged filter....such a problem results in a low back pressure which does NOT auto-stop the pump and therefore causes the gas to overflow from my tank and spill all over my car and onto the ground... when i talked to the manager he insisted i was holding down the trigger to let the gas spill out everywhere and would not help me in any way...he was rude and incredibly difficult to talk to so stay far far away from these guys. they go cheap on their filters and then blame customers for their own negligence would give 0 stars if possible read more

I paid $13 for the "Deluxe" touchless wash, which seemed like a fair price. The results were poor, though. I had to clean my SUV again when I got home. The car wash doesn't use soap and they only clean the sides. I bought the $7 express wash. The machine sprayed water (no soap) on the sides. The brushes lightly touched the sides and then the machine sprayed more water and then dried. The hood was literally untouched. The windshield was dry as was the back of the car. Even the parts they "washed" are still dirty because they didn't use any soap. Incredible rip off. They should be ashamed. read more

Went here a couple months ago, couldn't get the car wash to work.... Twice.... Went back to the cashier and asked for a refund. Was denied... Wouldn't call a supervisor, manager, anyone... She said because she let me go through the car wash a second time (After the first $9 car wash I paid for, failed to work), that she can't give me a refund. I explained that I paid money for a service that I did not receive... Therefore you're supposed to give me my money back. Long story short I left visibly upset and was going to dispute it with my credit card, but realized I wasn't going to let getting burned for $9 ruin my day.
