Went to Bratopia for the first time and learned that I have been wearing bras that are much too large my entire adult life!! Turns out under-wire bras are NOT insanely uncomfortable when fitted correctly. I loved everything about my shopping experience here: the warm welcome from the reception staff, Katerina - the very knowledgeable, kind and patient expert who fitted me - was exceptional at her job, the Bratopia selection was incredible with high quality undergarments in a wide variety of price points. I have wasted years wearing ill-fitting undergarments. From now on, I will not shop anywhere else. Could I find cheaper options at the big box stores? Maybe. These had my attention! So cute! Once you walk inside greeted by smiley staff, you realize how beautiful everything that they carry is. Styles are up to date and there is so much selection! So much colour! So many bathing suits! Who knew? I knew that the lingerie was a staple here but over the years I had completely moved on to Victoria's Secret. Not sure why that is and I know for a fact that I will be back to this store for some other things. Chelsea was a pro helping me out with anything I needed in the change room and found me some terrific pyjama pants on sale in my size. In addition to my new-found fave bathing suit! Once you are greeted you are treated with utter disdain it almost like you are in their way. They have something called "fitters" they have an hour wait to see them but if you just want to try a bra on, without the need to be "fitted", the idea itself gives them hives. I finally was allowed to try on a bra and asked for another style that may have been inside a drawer - the girl that was helping me, who was NOT a fitter needed to confer with her "fitters" to see if she's allowed to open the drawers and show me another style and warned me that if she does, she's not able to give me a different size in case one is needed. As I was waiting for this major decision to be handed down by the staff, I stood by the fitting room and was told to, and I quote: "please step away from the fitting rooms". Not do you mind to wait by the register, or anything a little more polite than "step away from the fitting room". I've shopped there over the years but this is the last time. And oh, everything they carry is almost double the price that you can find online, so unless you're a glutton for punishment and really love to pay to get whipped by a bunch of old ladies - save yourself the experience and avoid this place at all costs.
