Stopped by Cuppa Joe on my last day in Traverse City and it did not disappoint! I went on a Sunday morning around 10:30am and there were a few customers waiting for their orders. The coffee shop has a cute and cozy interior with a decent amount of seating. The staff were friendly and efficient. I ordered an iced caramel latte with oat milk and it was made within minutes. It was full of flavor and the coffee was excellent. If you're looking for some good coffee in Traverse City, this is a great spot! read more

Went in on a Sunday around 10am and had a 30 minute wait for an iced latte. Went in another day at 2:55 and espresso machine was cleaned and off for the day. Super disappointing. I like to support local businesses, but do better!!! read more

The coffee is delicious and the service was excellent. We are visiting from out of town and I've purchased coffee here 3 times in the last 2 days. Also, I couldn't leave without a CatBot shirt and my kids "needed" the toy dinosaurs. I will definitely be visiting this place again tomorrow on our way out of town. Highly recommend. read more

EXCELLENT! This place is TOP NOTCH. Probably the best coffee we've had on our entire trip. Prices are great & the drinks are even better! The latte i ordered was so strong and sweet I loved it! Super clean place & the entire staff were beyond great. The interior is lovely & even better, they support PALESTINE . The feel of this place is positive I could t of wanted a better spot to go. I highly recommend this place. It's in the heart of traverse city so it's easy to get in and out. No steps to get in so it's wheelchair accessible. First time here. Coffee was good. Scone was pretty good, but a little too sweet for me. The two ladies working were not friendly.

Great spot for coffee and to study! The interior is cute and trendy. Limited tables but they seemed more of a grab and go place. The cafe caramel was soo good! Also make sure you get the hand pie! The crust was so flaky and delicious. Wifi was reliable. read more

My wife and I got two drinks, she got the chai and at first wanted to add raspberry but the barista said she might want to rethink because the chai is already very sweet, we really appreciated that and it was delish on its own. I got a white mocha, so yummy. Would def recommend. Chill vibes good service good drinks. read more

Cuppa Joe's Eastside has delicious coffee. I love the hand pies-a great value and the chalula sauce that goes with them is a nice touch.

I always "doctor up" my coffee with almond milk creamer and stevia. But Cuppa Joe coffee was so smooth and nutty and mellow, yet rich and full-bodied, that I actually PREFERRED it black. This is the best cup of coffee in the world!!! So then why the 4 and not 5 stars? Because you can't SELL it if you're not OPEN! By 8 am, everybody's already at work!! i've visited this place many times since i moved here a year ago, it's one of my favorite places to go for a treat :) everyone i've met there is nice and the vibes are good (i usually go in the afternoon when its slower). my go-to is an iced chai with a shot- definitely recommend it if that's your jam!! read more

Will never return. The gentleman with the goutee who worked on 7/23 around 9am was extremely rude. We met up with friends at this coffee shop and sat inside to catch up with our small children. There was only one customer in line when he yelled at us, "You all need to be quiet! I can't hear my customer!" We had no trouble hearing our conversation and were kids were sitting nicely by the window. Later on this gentleman was taking out the trash and we apologized but mentioned that his comment was quite rude and took us aback. He continued to harass us and refused to give his name. He said, "The volume of this coffee shop should be like that it a library." It is a small space where silence is impossible. We have never been treated with such disrespect. As a local, we will not be returning. This man has no right to be in the service industry. The website says "good for kids", but this should probably be removed as it is not accurate. read more

Yay. My favorite local coffee shop now has a location near me!!! So, it's a pain to turn onto Four-mile road but no worries. There's enough parking here, not a ton though. However, this location still orders at the door/order ahead and take it to go only though due to COVID. Freaking 'Rona, am I right? I ordered a pumpkin spice latte, I should've stuck to the 12 oz, my stomach doesn't like 16 oz. Too much espresso pour Moi. Alas, it tasted great though. I don't know how cuppa Joe hires their employees, but however, they do it I approve because they are all so nice/friendly and kind. read more

I won't try again. The service worker totally ignored me when I walked in and the entire time he served the next person in line. They weren't talking, either. A "Good morning! I'll be right with you" would have kept me there. I walked out. I returned 90minutes later. There was nobody behind the counter. I stood and waited almost 5 minutes.
