This was a fun coffee shop after we had Mexican for lunch. A big store, bigger than we expected. Cool and Chill vibe. Coffees were good. Local artisan stuff to buy. I tried something unique...a coffee lemonade. I don't know how I feel about it...but I drank it all. It is worth a try but it tasted like lemonade that had coffee grounds in it without the grounds. Good coffee and great service. Found this place on Yelp and was happy that I did. The place was very clean, spacious, and had a good vibe. I'm pretty simple and had an Americano and my wife had an oat milk latte which she was also very happy with. They also serve fresh baked goods that looked delicious but didn't have any vegan options so I had to pass. The service was great too. The baristas were very friendly and engaging, and one even suggested the local street fair that was going on which was cool because we went and had fun. I will definitely pop in here again the next time I'm in Traverse City. read more

The watermelon matcha was so refreshing and the matcha was very well prepared that it was smooth and the watermelon flavor was fresh. This is the weakest matcha I have ever had. It just tastes like milk. $7 for a tiny cup that wasn't even full when I got it. I asked the price of buying a matcha tin and they couldn't tell me the price. Won't be back and don't recommend! read more

Mundos! Seriously one of my fave cafes in TC, every time I'm in town for work and can spare a couple hours to WFH, I come here. I always manage to get parking in the front *giggling* I even have quarters with me ready since I'm not about to download an app just to park. The ambiance is great in here, their stickers are so cute (I have most of them), service is always five stars, the plants make me happy (The spider plants have so many babies), natural lighting is always nice in here. The matcha oatmilk latte with some honey is so comforting, their iced teas are refreshing. You can either get it as a to go "like normal", or grab a few glass bottled matchas to stock up for later too! Stopped in specifically to pick up a couple MINT matcha lattes (yum), and they only had 1 glass bottled one in their grab and go section. Lovely atmosphere. I'd love to work or study here if I'm local. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the excellent espresso aroma in the air. They have great latte and latte art. The drinks can be a bit pricy. We got the matcha with coconut cream, which is not on the menu. It tastes amazing! Though over $8 is a lot. Many interesting merch here too. Mundos is just about the best and most elevated coffee shop around!!! They have several locations in the Traverse City/Grand Traverse County area and each one is unique in its own way while also maintaining the 5-star quality of their food and bevvies so this review is truly for every single one of them! Sadly, the Mundos in Suttons Bay will be closing soon, which is a shame. But the newest location on Front Street in Traverse City - Mundos 305 - is so incredibly massive and stunning that it almost makes up for it! They do the absolute best breakfast burritos here and the Cheddar Lime Hash Burrito literally has a grip on my heart! I got it every single day that I was in town for breakfast and couldn't have been any happier! As for drinks, I'm not a big coffee drinker, but all my friends tell me that the coffee here is superb. For me though, the matcha Mundos offers is where it's at...especially the STRAWBERRY MATCHA! They make the strawberry syrup in house and you can really tell by how fragrant and tasty it is. It is genuinely unlike any strawberry "flavored" or matcha drink I've ever had and I love them so much for this! On top of that, they have plenty of other options for coffee drinks and non-coffee drinkers alike! It took FOREVER to get our coffee. It was not busy either. ‍ They didn't have sugar either.

My mom and I were picking up some groceries in town when my husband texted me "I would not be mad if you brought me a latte if you're near someplace you could get one." I got the text just as I we rounded the corner by Mundo's so we popped in! LOVED IT! In my car I had a thermos full of cold brew I prepped at home but I couldn't resist the delicious smell of Mundos' coffee when we entered so, in addition to his latte, I also got one of their smooth, delicious cold brews. My mom also got a latte and proclaimed it excellent. The space is on the more minimalist side but welcoming. The barista we encountered was lovely and very helpful. They also sell their own beans and they had a table full of a selection of plants and skincare products like soaps and such. I was in Traverse City for 2 nights for work and went to Mundos 3 times. They make a good cappuccino but the food is what sets it apart. Ordered a cortado, which is a 1:1 ratio of espresso and steamed milk. It was unlike any other coffee I've had in the past. I honestly found this place to be "putting on airs" as they used to say. We asked for sugar, they said "we only have simple syrup" with a tone. My husband asked for mustard for his sandwich and they said "uhhhh we don't do mustard here." Why not have mustard? He ordered a ham and cheese thing and he likes mustard on ham and cheese and I'll bet he's not the only one. Upon leaving my son in law asked for a coffee refill and they said "we don't do free refills here. " I mean what DO they do there? Their prices are just ok for the area, the seating is uncomfortable and the "children" who are working there try their best to make you feel unwelcome. So??? A better choice is Common Good.
