We got to skip the wait and I just grabbed my order from the shelf. I did have to wait at the counter for them to fill my coffee cup, but I appreciated that it was hot and fresh. The space is small, with no dine-in area, but they seem to move through everyone's orders pretty quickly. I got the nosh (Louie's bacon, Tillamook cheddar, egg, and scallion cream cheese) on a black pepper parmesan bagel. You can also choose from a few other sandwich options, including a rotating feature. The bagel and schmear options lean more savory vs. sweet, which is my personal preference. The bagel was chewy and the sandwich held up pretty well, but I do wish it had a bit more shmear so I might add extra next time. The bagel itself wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping in the sandwich combo, but as I got towards the end I was noticing more of the parmesan. No real good quick stop cafes or coffeeshops that serve bagels like this from what I've found. Everyone else seems to think the same... place was packed. Loved this bagel shop!! One of my favorite places we went to in Traverse City. It seems super popular because it's likely the best bagel you'll get in this area. They also sell a bunch of different bagel flavors I've never seen before and they have a great cream cheese selection, including seasonal cream cheeses (such as strawberry for the summer) and a vegan cream cheese made with cashews. When we arrived around 9am, there was a pretty long line out the door but it moved quickly. All the bagels are made fresh in-house and they do not toast the bagels because of how fresh they are. They're constantly making them and restocking the bagels. I ordered an everything bagel with plain cream cheese, and they really respect the schmear here--genuinely the most cream cheese I've ever gotten on a bagel lol. Obviously it was delicious. If you want the real deal bagel go here. The bagels by themselves are delicious. Chewy and flavorful. I suggest checking out the menu before you go. Not that they pressure you to hurry but it's a fast paced busy place. No real seating inside but a beautiful park is just around the corner. If you get a dozen eat them within a day or so. I absolutely love their welcoming environment, it shows on their window! The shop is small so the line runs out throughout the door to outdoor but it's a quick moving line!! You can also make online pick up which is what we did and it was very effectively quick! As a first time visitor to Traverse City, this bagel shop came highly recommended! As I arrived around 9am on Saturday morning there was a line out the door. I ended up waiting about 15 minutes until I got up to the counter to order. After I ordered I only waited about 5 minutes for my bagels to be ready. They really had quick service which was awesome! The inside of the restaurant is small, making it tight when the line gets long and people are waiting for their food. The staff were super friendly and personable which really made the experience better. I ordered the nosh which I enjoyed! The bagel did eat a little tough and chewy in my opinion but the sandwich as a whole was tasty. They have a wide variety of bagels and cream cheese, making the menu diverse. Super friendly atmosphere from the second you enter the door. They great regulars by name an say thank you when they pick up their bags. This is the type of place you wish they had tables so you could bask in the ambiance of the place! They have daily specials and different things they rotate and try out. They had a cowboy bagel sandwich available with beer cheese and roast beef. Sounded amazing! Some chocolate banana cream cheese... and fresh oatmeal cream pies on the weekend! We went to bubbies for a quick breakfast before we went up to old mission lighthouse. There was a bit of a line, but it moved pretty quickly and we were inside before we knew it. Inside they have a few local items to buy. The cashier was really helpful and answered any questions we had. It is a bit tight inside of the shop, but the wait wasn't long so it wasn't too bad. The bagel sandwiches are SO good. Both of our choices were delicious. We also got a sweet bagel to try that was a seasonal special that was also fantastic. We stopped here on a whim to grab breakfast before starting our road trip home and are so glad we did! The place was clearly very popular with a line going a ways down the sidewalk, but the staff did a great job of moving the line along quickly, so it didn't feel like a terrible wait. I got the Carlson sandwich that was on special (white fish salad!) and my boyfriend got the veggie sandwich. We both got the sandwiches on everything bagels and loved them! The portions are generous and the bagels are DELICIOUS. The store itself is cute and they have it set up well with an area for call-ahead pickup, and despite the long line and many call-in orders, we only waited a couple of minutes after ordering to get our sandwiches. My boyfriend tells me the coffee was good as well! To top it off, despite being really busy, the staff were organized, cheerful, and friendly.
