High quality baked goods, decent coffee, doing good for the community is enough to earn my business. Service is fast and kinda sorta friendly, the shop smells delicious and the display case invites you to sample alllllll their wares. You can purchase swag too (t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, and a tiny canvas bag ) as well as not caffeinated beverages. Support small businesses and especially ones that give back.

My friend and I were warmly greeted upon entering. I had the chocolate-filled almond croissant. It was a little harder than expected, as I could not cut it with a butter knife, but the flakes did fall off when eaten. My friend enjoyed his pastry and Caffè Americano. They have a nice assortment of breads and pastries, albeit on the pricy side. They have flat-top tables, are very clean, and provide excellent service. Small lot parking. Their support of Food Rescue and Tart Trails earned them five stars. I would recommend them.

Yummy pastries & coffee! Good selection of breakfast sandwiches, breads, & sweet and savory baked goods!

My friends and I kicked off our early morning here. Our food came out quick, and the bakery is a cozy spot to hang out will you eat and wait for your coffee. You can watch them bake bread in wood fire ovens and see their staff working in the kitchens. We went overboard when we saw the pastry display and had no regrets. The cookies were my favorite, they were chewy and soft. The breakfast sandwiches were very tasty as well. Locals were lining up for fresh baked bread and coffee. Our experience was pricey but delicious!

We had a lovely meal here. Everything looked and tasted delicious. Soup was amazing too. Would highly recommend and wish we were here longer to go back.

Every time I visit Traverse City I make sure that Common Good is on my itinerary for at least one of the mornings I'm visiting. I have never had a "less than wonderful" baked item here and the staff is so sweet and extremely friendly. My favorite items are the tiles, although you do need to show up a bit early to get your hands on these because they sell out just about every morning. The spicy breakfast sando is so delicious and I highly recommend subbing the normal bread for a croissant. I'm so happy to see that they expanded to multiple locations so they can share their love of baking with more patrons. I can't wait to return on my next trip to Traverse City. So, I was expecting the food to be slightly overhyped. But, I was definitely wrong. I went with a colleague of mine and we were lucky enough to stop by during their happy hour so, we went all out on the appetizers. We ordered their calamari, the sliders, the beef Korean tacos, and the flat bread. Immediately I was blown away by how fresh the food was. Particularly the Thai calamari. As for the Korean beef tacos- the beef was so tender! The protein on the sliders was tenderloins and those were equally delicious. The flat bread surprised me a bit! Ingredients include hummus, feta cheese, spinach, tomatoes and an additional assortment green veggies. So I was expecting it to be a cold dish but it was actually warm. The bread was exceptionally soft. There was not one mediocre thing that we ordered, everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. The interior isn't much to look at, like I said the restaurant is located inside a hotel. However, with food that tasty who cares about the interior design of a restaurant! If you are ever in traverse city, NOT dinning at the Reflect Bistro will be doing a massive disservice to yourself!

That being picky though, the place feels welcoming and is brightly lit and feels well cared for. I ordered the Pot Roast ($20). It's described as slow roasted with carrots and onions and mashed potatoes. It was fantastic. The meat was tender and delicious. the gravy was perfect without overpowering. The carrots and onions were a great compliment. Plus the real mashed potatoes were made to perfection. Smooth, yet still had the potatoness to the texture. The taste was one of the better mashed potatoes I've had in TC. I don't know what they do th their TC Cherry Coke, but it is spectacular. Lastly for dessert I got their Lava Cake ($7), it was fine, but disappointing after such a great meal. I don't know if it was from frozen or what. However the texture was a little off andvthe taste was only okay. I wouldn't get it again. The service was very friendly and super helpful. Overall a 4 1/2 star review. Since I have to round, I'm going to forgive the dessert and give a full 5 stars. Would I return? Absolutely. Especially if I'm craving Pot Roast.

There were unusual choices too, which was interesting to see. The service was friendly and the food came out promptly. I went with the chimichurri omelette. It was made up of prime rib, hash browns, mozzarella cheese, and chimichurri sauce. I never saw this type before, so I wanted to give it a try. I also had a pancake instead of toast. The pancake was cooked a tad over, but it was alright. The omelet was large with plenty of meat incorporated. It was unique with the chimichurri sauce. It helped offset the lack of seasoning of the eggs. I also tried the Traverse city cherry salad which had turkey and cherry salad, pecans, dried cherries, Monterey Jack cheese, and tomatoes with a raspberry vinaigrette. This had a good flavor with the combination of raspberry vinaigrette and cherries, but there was way too much mayo or miracle whip in the turkey. Will I go back? Most likely.
