I visit this location daily and have always been patient and respectful. Today's experience, however, was unacceptable. I was standing at the express checkout while there was only one employee assisting customers. While I waited, three vehicles were serviced, then two more, and then a third round of cars -- all while I was still standing there. After ringing the bell once, I was told to "wait," which I did. Instead of being helped, I was eventually approached and spoken to aggressively and told to "go The fuck somewhere else," which was both unprofessional and unnecessary. What makes this more concerning is the inconsistency I've experienced over time. One employee repeatedly tells me the store did not receive a shipment of cups needed to serve hot water, while another employee provides the same item without issue the very next day. This contradiction happens regularly and suggests either poor internal communication or selective service. I come here every day for the same simple request -- hot water -- and I have never caused a problem or been disrespectful. Being skipped repeatedly, then spoken to in a hostile and dismissive manner, is not acceptable under any circumstances. Whether the issue was frustration, mismanagement, or employee behavior, customers should not be treated this way. I hope management takes this seriously, addresses staff conduct, and ensures consistent, respectful service for everyone. Walked next door for my hot water instead. It's okay I'll file a complaint. Bad day or not. Instead of me responding in a negative manner I'll take the professional route.. steam coming from my head right now. There was non one at the window when we arrived. I had to ring the doorbell twice. Once she came she was friendly, just seemed weird to walk up to a window with no indoor space. It looks big enough inside but they choose to only provide outdoor seating--either metal chairs or picnic tables. Not the most comfortable. I came back to this location hoping to get my DG donut fix but looks like they stopped carrying DG and now supply Shaka Donuts. Donuts are still good but overpriced, go straight to the Shaka Donuts location if you want their donuts for about a third of the cost.. Donuts are not displayed for customers so I had to look off pictures on a baristas phone to figure out which kinds I wanted.. a little inconvenient but it worked. As the name indicates, this is an express location with no inside seating for customers, but there is outside seating available. read more

3 Stars for a convenient location just off of I-4 that provides local third wave coffee and tea options from a different company and for the solid and friendly service. The drive-through feature fits the thoroughfare area where this Foxtail is located.Today, however, I met a friend here due to the outdoor patio that allows for social distancing and open air during the pandemic. I chose the Raspberry Rose tea over ice so the helpful barista informed me that it would take about 6 minutes. Once the tea was ready, I was treated to a strong and enjoyable raspberry flavor with a vanilla rooibos finish. No one else sat in the patio area that early in the day, but I can imagine hanging out under the white lights with friends in the evening during the cooler weather. I've seen on the Foxtail site that they periodically have live music. On the down side: Our conversation at times had to pause due to the noise of the traffic at rush hour and the cost of the coffee and tea was Starb***s-esque. Also, If you are headed back to I-4, you'll need to pull a u-turn. read more

Got a large Chai latte ($6) and hazelnut donut ($4) Chai was good and it was not overfilled with ice which I was grateful for. The donut was dense and, while tasty, did feel a tad bit dry. This location is somewhat of a disappointment because it is not an enclosed space. And yes, the name says "Express", but dang, every coffee house has an indoor space, except for this location. I came when it was raining, so I didn't stay long to prevent getting sprayed by the rain and the wind. Also, it is not a nice area, I apologize if this is your neighborhood but nah, not fancy enough and not dangerous enough to attract an element like the one writing this review. The donut partnership is interesting, I got to try one of the donuts, and it was good and really big, but with all the fancy stuff dressing the donut, they should put them in boxes, not in bags. Exemplary coffee with complementing foodstuffs. Could be a bit of a wait. Not entirely inexpensive. Thoroughly enjoyed my ham and egg sandwich, which was superlative comparatively. You know how it is, some things are worth the extra and this just happens to be one of those things. They're delivering on the whole Foxtail high quality modus operandi but with express service. Service was a touch hipsterish or something like it but not quite and the tip jar couldn't have been more in the way or tipping more omnipresent from all the reminders. Easy in and out and thoroughly delicious. Enough of a breakfast sandwich to kill lunch too. Easily sharable. And tasted of solid quality. read more

They're tiny (smaller than Starbucks) and cost $5 each. The chicken sausage on a croissant is actually an egg patty that tastes like chicken bouillon cubes, was disappointed that there was no visible or large chunks of sausage. I've visited about 5 times in the last few months and every single visit they are out of all or most of their food items.

As a business owner, I would be appalled if someone treated any of my customers the way their staff treats people. Rude and short over the intercom. Then practically threw my blazing hot muffin at me and my "matcha" which was basically almond milk and ice, before slamming the window shut. I have driven by this spot a few times, but had no idea of the concept. This was my first time at a Foxtail, but I really love the concept of this place! Drive through but with an awesome local coffee shop?! So cool! I ordered an iced matcha with coconut milk which was absolutely delicious and was just the right amount of sweet. My friends also got drinks to go and the whole process was super quick. They have some seating under a covered roof and a bathroom that you need a key for. There are only a few parking spots, but the whole point is quick in and out. I would love to come here on a nice day to enjoy a quick coffee with a friend. Would highly recommend and can't wait to try one of their full service locations. read more

This location was very nice, it is a perfect place to sit outdoors when it's not too hot and humid on a Florida day! As always, the coffee does satisfy my caffeine addiction. It has great bench seatings not covered by the roof if you want some good ole vitamin D during a nice breezy fall/winter day. However if it happens to rain or just has too much rays, you can always go underneath the roof and there's some room under there. One great feature is that is has a drive-thru! So, if you are on the go go, you can simply go order in their drive-thru! read more

I had their chai tea latte, and I'll tell you what, this Chai tea is where it's at! My wife loves chai tea, and the attendant provided a sample for her to try and she wanted one of her own! But the surprise of this experience was their breakfast sandwich, their available until 4pm, and my wife ordered the ham, egg, and cheese sandwich that came on potato bread, and this sandwich came out hot and fresh! My wife raved about the sandwich, and let me take a bite, I might have to get one of my own next time because, it was so good that, she wouldn't let me take a second bite of the sandwich. I love that you can sit on the patio & enjoy your coffee and/or food or take advantage of their drive through option. Donuts so light and fluffy but a tad rich depending on what you get, recommend splitting with a friend if you're not looking for a crazy sugar high. My Mom and I are visiting from California and stopped by here. I ordered an everything bagel and raspberry rose tea and my mom ordered a cafe con leche and a ham egg and cheese croissant. She liked her food but I'm not a fan of how dry and dusty the bagel was, it was toasted way too long. The tea was okay not very tasty but they didn't put the lid on right at first and my mom almost burned her hand. Overall meh experience. Try somewhere else maybe. read more

This is my first time ever coming to Foxtail, but I had to try it because my cousin told me I would love the place. The atmosphere is super chic and industrial. The Chai Latte smelled so warming and very tasty. I wish they had more then three sandwiches to offer. The chicken sausage croissant that I ate was ok. It wasn't nasty just tasted a little bland. The customer service was ok as well. I'm use to coffee shops being extra welcoming and friendly. The staff wasn't mean or anything, they just took my order and that was that; not much interaction. Due to a rather late Friday night, I was neither bright-eyed nor bushy-tailed this past Saturday morning. I was on my way to The Yelpies and severely in need of an energy boost. Thought I scored a bingo when I spotted Foxtail on my route. I'd been wanting to try them for a while and this seemed to be perfect timing. Upon pulling in, I wasn't sure they were open because no cars were in the parking lot at 10:30 AM. Then I noticed someone moving around inside and made my way to the drive-thru. I ordered a cappuccino, which cost $4.43, and pulled up to the service window. It felt like I had been waiting a while and I started to wonder what was taking so long, as I was the only customer. Then another car pulled up to order behind me. I normally never carry cash, but I'm glad I did today. The lady who took my order handed me the smallest cappuccino I have ever seen and I handed her a $20 bill and 3 pennies. I know coffee can be pricey and I'm cool with that, but then she handed me back less than $10 and some coins. I'm starting to freak out a little by now and waved my arms to get the lady's attention behind the closed window. After I explained that she had given me incorrect change, I was really turned off and dismayed because her tone of voice and body language suggested to me that she didn't believe me. Her response was, "You gave me change!" I still don't know what that means, but knew I was right because I only had five $20 bills on me and explained that to her. Without a word, she held out her hand and I placed the change she had made into it. Then I waited some more...at least 2-3 minutes...and began to worry that I was going to be late. The lady returned and gave me my correct change. Her explanation was that she had charged me for the wrong order...the order belonging to the person behind me. Mystery solved. (SIGH) Took a sip of my coffee as I'm pulling out of the parking lot and it tasted okay, but was not hot. I could have chugged it...that's how not hot it was and it was stone cold by the time I made it to the Lake Mary exit from Lee Rd. We are all human and people make mistakes. It's your reaction that matters. I won't make the same mistake twice. read more

Foxtail service is hit or miss. Coffee pretty good... but not worth it when the service is bad. The gal working Memorial Day at this location acted like she'd rather be anywhere else. My dad also had a gift card and she said she didn't know how much was left on it... but we've seen people before type in the number and get the balance. Didn't go above and beyond. read more
