Always a good time to caffeinate.

I'm a sucker for a coffee shop - this surprises NO ONE. I can't believe i hadn't tried this one before. It's nestled back a bit from the road but easy to find if you know it's there. And while parking in the Agron can be hard it's an easy midday stop. For whatever reason I was crazy spicy coffee and this place had just the thing! The shop was well staffed so they were attentive upon entering and my drink was made quickly. In the meantime I meandered and enjoyed the random art (there was hand may clay items for sale! ), books to read from and community board. The Mexican mocha itself was delicious, spicy but not too much you couldn't sip straight through it.

Coffee and rum cake pick up.

Love this cutie Mexican-inspired coffee shop located in Ivanhoe Village. It has amazing decor and great vibes along with some delicious coffee. On this visit I got the Panela (brown sugar) Latte and it hit really the spot. It had the perfect amount of sweetness and was so well balanced. We also picked up some Bang Bang Bakehouse Rum Cakes on our visit and are SO excited that they have a partnership now and that we can get them at Aguila Coffee. Can't wait to come back soon!

5 Stars for a small coffee shop in Ivanhoe that features Mexican beans and eclectic Mexican decor. Plus a guava matcha that is not to be missed! I've officially fallen in love with this little shop. Though we fly a Peruvian flag in my house, this Mexican-inspired coffee shop feels like a bit of home. It invites you to sit in one of the little nooks to dig into one of their library of books or just immerse yourself in the atmosphere of your favorite tio's house while sipping a comforting beverage. I got the guava matcha and was assured that it wouldn't be too sweet (they were right!). My partner got a cortado with oat milks. Both were great drinks, with the guava matcha as my standout as I rarely find a matcha drink that's sweetened to the right level for my palate. The guava and matcha sing together- who would've thought? I can't wait for my next cup. Next time I hope to enjoy one of the baked conchas (Mexican sweet bread) and spend more time just hanging out. Big fan!

All of the items we got.

Aguila Coffee reminds me of what community and culture can inspire. I think when people talk about millennials and spending money on coffee, Aguila Coffee is where everyone would think to go but without the gentrification and insane prices. It's been on my radar for a little bit. Started by Artie and Antonio, who are friends that started in the Orlando hospitality industry, who wanted to honor Antonio's Mexican heritage. Aguila Coffee sits between Lake Ivanhoe and the railroad tracks, and I think it's a perfect location. You can immediately tell that the place was a product of love and hardwork. From the records and the bookshelves that remind you of what it feels like to walk into someone's mom's home to the way it's slightly dimly lit with that warm yellow lighting. I really loved the space and that you can feel the rumble of the railroad tracks when a train goes by. My friend and I had went there to catch up and so glad we did. We shared a strawberry concha, by the way my first time having one and it was delicious. We also got a couple of items to share and try from the menu. We got the espresso with raw brown sugar, guava matcha, and horchata espresso. The espresso with raw sugar was a 8/10. The guava matcha was a 7/10. The horchata espresso was a 9/10. The horchata espresso was definitely my favorite. It was sweet, cinnamony, and milky. I mean you really can't go wrong mixing horchata flavors into any sweet dish or drink. Overall, 9/10 and I will be back and showing other people this place. The whole thing probably set us back about $20ish. See you again soon, Aguila Coffee.

Very cool vibe and Mexican love!

A wonderful addition to Ivanhoe! Small yet authentic and the spiced mocha is my fav! Very nice and welcoming people!

Came to Aguila for the first time today, craving an iced coffee on this very hot summer day. I ordered the Piloncillo and my husband got the Con Chata; both tasted amazing! Balanced but also full of flavor and refreshing. The barista was attentive and gave us recommendations & the ambience was chill, perfect for work/study or meaningful conversations. Will certainly be back!

This place is tiny but very cozy and welcoming. The decor reflects the Latin roots of the cafe. Parking is limited but I was able to easily find a spot on a Sunday morning. I chose the Cafe con chata, a horchata latte and it was leagues above the Starbucks horchata latte. I do wish the menu were a little bigger, but I will be back to check out some of the other drinks.

Cute little coffee shop in Ivanhoe Village! The ambiance is super cool inside, with an authentic Mexican touch throughout. The coffee menu is Mexican-influenced as well. I had the horchata latte, and it was delicious, like homemade sweet goodness. It was $7. They have some space for sitting and relaxing, but not a ton of seating since it's a smaller spot. Overall, it's a great new addition to the Orlando coffee scene!

Aguila is an awesome new Mexican-inspired coffee shop in Ivanhoe Village, and it's truly just what the neighborhood needed. There has not been any good coffee options within this little strip of local businesses, and I'm so happy they found the perfect spot to make their permanent home (after doing pop-ups for quite some time). The owners are super cool dudes and it's been nice chatting with them, hearing more about their story. So far I tried the guava matcha and the con chata (horchata with espresso on top) which were both amazing. I loved it so much, I went 2 days in a row! You can park along Orange Ave or in the little parking lot at the end of Swanson's row (by Yay! Tiny Shop). Easy breezy!

So I've been here a couple times at this point and it honestly gets better every time I come here. The horchata iced coffee is easily the best coffee I've had in Orlando, this time I also tried the matcha concha which was delicious. Order at the counter as soon as you come in, the vibe is comfy and cozy with lots of Mexican inspired decor/ art but also nods to Florida as well. Ample eclectic seating throughout, and if you're lucky to you can hear the Sunrail go by during the week. Me Encanta!

I popped into Águila Coffee for the first time a few days ago, and was instantly a fan. It feels like you have walked into pop up cafe with permanent heart and character. I had the Con Chata, espresso over horchata, and my friend got the Guava Matcha. I really enjoyed it. This drink is for you if you like cinnamon or uniquely sweetened coffees. I went back today to try the Mex Mocha, a latte with spicy Mexican chocolate syrup. It does have a kick that will absolutely wake you up in the morning. The team went the extra mile with the iced latte I ordered to go. I was walking it back home to my friend, so they left the ice out and added a sticker to the top to prevent spills. There is limited table space, so I would not recommend this as a spot to work, but there is seating for meeting up with a friend or two. You should definitely add this to your next coffee crawl. This coffee shop is exactly what Ivanhoe Village needed!

Downtown Lake Ivanhoe village sit this cute little Mexican coffee shop with a retro vibe. You can choose to sit at the coffee bar and talk with the barista or watch the barista make drinks. Upon entering the front door, there's a seating area to the right that is also bar seating and you can watch out the main window and to the left is a small area to sit in a corner with a chair. There's also a small room to the left that has vintage books, a record player, vintage stereo system with matching speakers. The service was great. I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door with prompt service. The barista explained the coffee menu and pastry items that were available. The owner/barista stated that the coffee beans come from Mexico and there is a micro bakery that provides the sweet bread. The sweet bread had three flavors, vanilla, chocolate strawberry, and a vegan sweet bread. I chose the strawberry sweet bread. It was good. It was bread that was sweetened with a hen of strawberry powder frosting on the top. For my drink, I got guava Matcha iced, usually can't go too wrong with Matcha. It was not overpowering in flavor and It was evenly delicious. The coffee shop in Ivanhoe Village remained steadily busy. The pastry and Matcha were great. If you're searching for a different coffee shop vibe and you're near Lake Ivanhoe Village come check them out. It's worth the stop. Cheers

Aguila is such a perfect little coffee spot. I love the bright blue walls and Mexican decor. It feels like you're escaping Orlando and taking a little trip. Before I ordered the Con Chata, I asked the staff about the sweetness because I'm not a huge sweet coffee fan. They helped answer my question and the Con Chata was so tasty and gave me the caffeine kick I needed! Highly recommend checking out Aguila!!

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles, and the cozy atmosphere immediately made us feel welcome. We ordered two kinds of smoothies along with their traditional beignets. The beignets were generously dusted with powdered sugar, and when I took my first bite, they were hot, fresh, and wonderfully chewy on the inside. I honestly don't think I've ever had freshly made beignets before, and they were absolutely delicious! We were both so excited to discover this place. They offer several different varieties of beignets, and we're already looking forward to trying more of them little by little on future visits. Today was my cheat day, and it was completely worth it for these amazing treats! The smoothies were also fantastic. They weren't overly sweet, and you could really taste the freshness of the fruit.
