I've been coming in here picking up a couple grams of concentrate from time to time. Very often the product you receive is nothing close to anything that's listed on the website. One time I even got a gram of hash, and there was nothing inside the box. It was just a sealed empty box. Today I went there and I received 2 g of hash the photos I provided show how it's listed online verse what you actually receive. The photos online are deceptive. I've provided a comparison photo in the review. They purposely try to make them all look like solventless cold cure. But every single time you will just get disgusting BHO sugar wax. When I tried to return it, the staff freaked out that I brought the product back in the store, even though I asked several people if they accept returns. read more

I stopped in on a whim to browse around and had a pretty negative experience. They seem to only want to deal with people who have preordered, so they can just take their money. No one really wanted to help or answer any questions. When I finally got someone to talk to me, they were dismissive; like they only wanted to deal with people who were... power users. It was pretty insulting. I asked for recommendations from the goateed bro strongly who finally came over, and he urged me to purchase a particular tincture and vape. After some further discussion, it eventually came out that he was only recommending these particular products because they were colored bright pink and no one wanted them. They couldn't move the product, so he tried to convince me to buy it. That's not customer service. Not going back. read more

I'm so shocked to see that not only does this dispensary only have 2 reviews, but they're both 1 star! I've been to this Curaleaf I wanna say around 4 times, and every single time has been delightful! The employees are friendly, helpful, and welcoming even when there's a rush or a lot of people in the store. The dispensary itself is all black on the outside which makes it so sleek looking, and is spacious and clean on the inside. Their parking lot has ample space, as well, and is conveniently almost fully wrapped around Curaleaf. Something I love about this dispensary is the rewards program and their pricing - I've been to many dispensaries around the suburbs and I have yet to find one that has more sales and affordable prices than Curaleaf. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I usually make a stop if I'm in the area. You get 15% off your first three orders, too, which I thought was a great way to get customers to come back. It certainly worked for me! Highly recommend coming here for both first timers and regular marijuana users. They have a very wide array of products for all! This and other Curaleaf's I have visited are very clean and organized which I appreciate. Some times there are lines and it can be frustrating if you don't order ahead so I recommend ordering ahead and scheduling your pick up time. Weekends are way busier than weekdays. Bought "It's Mimosa Select Elite Cartridge" last month from this location and upon opening it saw the headspace was waaaay more than usual. So, I returned to the store with the product (didn't know that was against rules until then) to either return or swap it for another. (Again, first time I have ever received a cartridge with such a little amount of live oil.) I did manage to have 2 employees there look at the cartridge - both agreed that it didn't look right. They gave me the email address of management to get a full credit at the store. I contacted, took photos, etc. all within a day. It took management ages to get back to me and when they did, they just said it was a "normal" amount of headspace. I tried to appeal, they just ignore. They won't even tell you their name - that's how much of a BS operation this is. Now, stores sell inferior products - like this one CLEARLY is - all the time. But now what? I'm stuck with it? Paying full price and I'm stuck with a product that's NOT what I wanted. If I could return it, I would not be writing this, complaining of bad management. But, that isn't even an option. I have not used it at all, just opened, took a photo, and then put it back in packaging. I contacted management immediately saying it doesn't look like what was advertised. That it was unused and something I do not want. Within a day, I should be able to return it. So, be warned that 1) Curaleaf sells defective products. Once you purchase said product, you're stuck with it and 2) management don't give a damn 'bout you. They all about the $$. read more

Having the same issue as several others have noted...,a defective product and they just give you a run-around asking you for the same information over and over. I went out of my way to stop here and I introduced several of my friends to the place but I won't bother anymore. Bought a vape. When I got home and opened the package, it was sticky. I called the location I bought it from right away and asked them whether it was supposed to be sticky. (I usually buy flower or edibles.). He said no and told me to go online and open up a customer service ticket which I did. They've now asked me for pictures and proof twice. I'm seeing this over and over in the reviews. Dispensaries are starting to open up on every block in Illinois just like they did in Michigan or Colorado. Just like in Michigan and Colorado, the Illinois dispensaries that do not provide good customer service will eventually close. As with anything else, only buy from places that stand by their product(s), in other words, go somewhere else. read more

The store is not welcoming. The people who work there do not make you feel that you're a valued customer. Their knowledge of cannabis products is poor at best and they're too busy talking to each other in order when customers I feel very sorry for the store because it it has gone downhill since the end of November the early part of December I don't know what happened. they sell vapes that are barely half full, I'd say 1 out of 10 was normal. I'm a loyal customer but their customer service is horrific. they will waste your time leading you in circles just to find the tiniest detail of why they can't help you. I purchased 2g sativa vape and they sold me indica. I did not open the package or leave the property, immediately showed them the receipt on my phone that it's not what i purchased. the manager was rude and aggressive, her tuna breathe traumatized me, and she didn't help or care at all. if you email them a pic of your half empty brand new vape, the package, and the receipt the moment you get home - they will email you days later saying they can't help because you didn't take a pic of the BACK of the packaging. nevermind I have purchased dozens of these and didn't complain except once, and they wasted my time for weeks with emails back and forth and they were pleased to refuse to help. the energy is toxic and I don't appreciate it while I'm trying to get medicine to heal. Spent over $100 at this location. Got a jar of 7g of shake on sale for $45. Get it home, it weighed just over 4g. Got shorted by almost THREE GRAMS!! Called them, was told to take a photo of the jar, receipt, product on a scale and send the complaint form to them. Well it's been almost three days now, no response. I wonder if there is a regulatory agency that can take action since this store seems to think ripping a customer off is ok. Never had ANY issue anywhere else before with weight until going here three days ago. Then when i ask for the contact information of whomever oversees this location, I am ignored as well. I also think the village board in Northbrook needs to know this happens to people since they license your business. Why a refund has not been initiated yet, or a product replacement, is beyond me. read more

This is the worse dispo in the state. They don't care about med card holders, every other place offers 25-30% off order with a med card and this place can't even stay consistent. One day it was 15% off, next time it was 20$ off. They only care about making money and I won't give this place my business ever again. Management should tell the employees what it is so it's not random every time. Find a new dispo if this is your go to one because they don't care about there customers at all. read more

I'm so surprised by the negative reviews here. I absolutely love this place. They are so friendly and accommodating. I've never had a bad experience here. The front door staff is kind and welcoming, they check ID's quickly and are patient with you. I've never shopped in store, but my order is always ready for me when I get there. Incredibly disappointed with my experience here. I purchased an $80 1g cartridge at this location that was defective and wouldn't work with any battery I owned (keep in mind these batteries were all perfectly functional with any other cartridge I tried). Want a refund? Good luck: - First I tried to return in person. Wasn't allowed due to state regulations. Fair, I get it. Was told to email the company help address. - After emailing, I was told to video myself trying to use the product (?), show a copy of the receipt, and show original packaging. Filmed a stupid video and sent the receipt. It had been a week between purchasing and trying to get a refund so original packaging was gone at this point. - Response to my email was maybe I wasn't using the battery correctly (even though I told them specifically I don't have problems with any other cartridges on this battery...?) but they'd apply a 30% discount to my next purchase. No refund on the $80 dud. - Replied that a future discount wasn't an acceptable solution as I'm still out $80, and I was happy to return the product by any means they deem appropriate. This was over a week ago, and I have since followed up twice with no response. Really shocking customer service (or lack thereof). Long story short good luck buying here - if you get a defective product be prepared to jump through hoops for a measly 30% discount at best. Stick with MOCA or Sunnyside or literally anywhere else but here and save yourself the headache. Visited this dispensary today and was hounded by the door lady. No other way to describe other than power hungry. I understand wanting to verify ID's, however, my ID, along with the 3 others I was with, were validated by her at the door. She proceeded to watch every move as we shopped. She then went to the register before we checked out to have 3 others check our ID's. We were asked for a secondary form of ID and were finally cleared to checkout. It left an awful impression.
