They repainted my kitchen ceiling, pressure washed deck and walkways. We hired this company to paint the entire interior of our home, a large and expensive project that…read morewe entrusted to professionals. Within weeks, their work began failing in multiple areas -- most notably in the bathrooms -- and it has only continued to deteriorate. As shown in the photos, the paint is actively peeling, cracking, and separating from the surface along ceilings, corners, and flat wall planes. This is not normal wear, and it is not minor touch-up territory. Entire sections of paint are lifting and flaking off. When we first raised concerns about the secondary bathroom shortly after moving in, their representative dismissed the issue as a "ventilation problem," despite the fact that there were no issues before the repaint and this occurred during summer months. They doubled down on this explanation by claiming the master bathroom would not have the same problem due to its size. That explanation quickly collapsed when the master bathroom -- which is very large and has vaulted ceilings -- developed the same cracking and peeling within a month. This clearly points to incorrect paint selection and/or improper surface preparation, particularly a failure to use bathroom-appropriate, moisture-resistant products. At no point were we advised on paint suitability for bathrooms -- something any competent professional painter should proactively address. We used "premium" paint, yet premium paint applied incorrectly or in the wrong environment still fails, which is exactly what happened here. Equally concerning is the lack of accountability. Despite the amount we had just spent, and despite our willingness to pay to resolve the issue correctly, the company made no meaningful effort to fix their work. Beyond the bathrooms, there are additional quality issues throughout the home: visible cracking along ceiling seams, paint splitting along non-corner joints, and unfinished details. Notably, the kitchen baseboards were never painted, with the explanation that they were "part of the cabinets," which is plainly inaccurate and visible in person. This experience has been extremely disappointing. The workmanship does not meet professional standards, and the refusal to stand behind the work is even more troubling. Based on both the quality of the results and the response when problems arose, I would not recommend this company to anyone investing serious money into their home.

Zion, our project manager, gave great recommendations and kept up with the project in person every day. The crew chief Armando also gave honest recommendations for what to paint/not paint and came to demonstrate all of the possible colors before the project started. Additionally, they were able to give an extremely competitive estimate, and throughout the project gave estimates for additional work we requested. They even talked us out of work that we could have done but were not recommended when they could have just done it and charged us. Payment was easy - credit card or debit card option possible. Definitely recommend working with them if you have an interior project!

AFM started out with a "6" rating and if I was allowed to add a decimal point probably would have…read morebeen rated higher, but as such, a "4" it is. When I initially put my Painting Project out on Yelp, Mathew was 1 of the 1st to respond and though I originally had another company in mind, through continued diligent communication by Mathew, AFM ultimately earned my business. Mathew was SUPER communicative up until my job was confirmed and booked and then he kinda' disappeared on me a bit until the morning of my appointment, which though it had me slightly nervous along the way and pushed me to have a Plan B ready just in case, it ultimately just let me know that he is a man of his word, but not going to keep beating you over the head with communications in between time. As my pictures show, 1 part of my project was a mosaic-type piece in my Entryway Hallway and though Mat told me that he'd never done this type of design, he also said that he was confident that his team could get it done and do it well! I have to say that Francisco and his cohort who actually did the work did an OUTSTANDING job...I was and am quite pleased!! The small bedroom that I had done in addition was a layup from a 7-Footer in comparison and they did an outstanding job on that as well! =) After the crew left that night, I noticed a faint orange dusting on my carpet, which obviously wasn't there before, because my original walls weren't orange prior to the project. I reached out to let Mat know and he explained what he thought the issue might be and said that he'd come out by the following Wednesday (In 5 days) to take care of it, via a carpet shampooing or alternate method. Mat actually called the next day and said that he would be able to come and rectify the problem in an hour, if I was home and available (Which I was). He arrived in a timely manner and rubbed what appeared to be some kind of paint-thinning lacquer in the problem areas of the carpet and said that letting it sit about 2 hours and then vacuuming the treated areas should take care of the problem and it did to eyes less discerning than mine - SUCCESS!! Mathews original quote was the 2nd highest of the 5 quotes that I received, but when it was all said and done, it was well worth it. I never signed/accepted my original quote however and in gaining my business, Mathew told me that he'd probably be able to come down on the price a bit, but that was NOT the case in the end. No harm, no foul, as I have some culpability in that hiccup as well, for not confirming the final price before work started. With that being said; Though I absolutely recommend this company, I'd implore you to be clear on a price upfront!!
